Cute hotel downtown but Definately going for an aesthetic. Rooms are clean well done but small. Bed was great. A/c was great. Lack of insulation made you hear every step above below or adjacent to your room. They give you earlplugs but really? No microwave. Food choices are limited and expensive. Parking is a little weird. Behind a bank on the next block they have six spots. They are marked. So expect to drag your bags. I thought it was overpriced and aimed at a certain group of travelers. Also the hallways smelled musty.

I usually limit my reviews to restaurants but could not pass up reviewing SCP in Redmond. Service: top notch; cleanliness, excellent; room, spotless; bed, very comfortable. Convenient access to public parking a block west with free EV charging. Can't say anything bad about this place. AND... go to their website. They practice sustainability and giving back in an intentional way. Soul. Community. Planet.

Uplifting sayings greet you throughout the hotel.

Built in 1928 original downtown Redmond as a hotel. SCP bought & renovated in 2017 opened in 2018. Check in was easy & fast. Everyone was very pleasant. Parking is on street or around back behind the bank. The room was small but adequate. Very clean & everything is white. A Zen vibe a sound machine playing when we entered & Himalayan salt lamp lit. The queen bed was super comfy & they provide earplugs. The bathroom was small but has a large step in shower. The permanently mounted tray the shampoo, conditioner & soap dispensers set in needed to be cleaned under bottles. It was a gummy mess under each one. Only big down side was ALL rooms are pet friendly. Not the best for my allergies or others. The guy at desk stated they do a microbial spray when a pet has been in room. My socks & slippers were full of 1" long dog hair. So housekeeping must not vacuum well. It ended up all over the clean bath mat. I was not happy, but let it go & didn't say anything to front desk. We would stay here again but probably ask that they vacuum before we arrive. They have a jute looking woven area rug on original hardwood floor. I presume that is where the dog hair came from. There is roof top dining patio with a drink menu I had an excellent Marion berry Mojito. Dinner menu was vegetarian but I love veggies so didn't mind not having meat. I selected the Garden Bruschetta which was delicious served with thinly sliced grilled Zucchini & yellow summer squash tomatoes, mozzarella & thin grilled crisp toast triangles. Also ordered the smashed potatoes they were pretty dry. Small purple potatoes that were cut in 1/2 & baked but not smashed. Served with a herb aioli that was good. I wouldn't order them again. My husband has a virgin Marion Berry margarita. Also a Marion Berry smear of jam with desert biscuit & Chantilly cream. Said it was delish.

Friendly staff and tidy hotel on the Main Street in Redmond "old town". Many shops, restaurants and establishments in very walkable distance. Rooms are simple but perfect for sleeping and going out to explore. Bathroom had a shower only and efficient use of space with smallest sink ever. Room had a large full length mirror which helped make the space feel larger and eased dressing in the morning. There is a smell in the halls due to the age of the building but nothing unbearable. The cafe downstairs serves tasty breakfast and drinks and the space is flooded with natural light. Community room complete with hammock swings and yoga, business center and rooftop bar round out the offerings.

I absolutely love this hotel Nestled in an old building on Main Street, this nicely maintained and beautifully decorated hotel is cozy and very convenient to where you need to go in Redmond or even Bend. What was great about this place, is not only the room which had a "living room" and a king size bed, black and white tiled bathroom floors and a huge bathroom, walk-in shower. It also had a business area that one could conduct a meeting, or just work in privately. A very nice room that I did yoga and Pilates in daily, as well a wonderful lounge. As you come in off of Main Street, the lobby has a few couches next to the fireplace and a record player that you can choose some music to relax and read a good book. Then a quaint cafe for a quick bite. So many more great things about this little gem to name. I will be coming back again and again. I ended up extending my stay as it was just a great spot. Excellent food trucks just a block away and at Christmas and Halloween, many wonderful attractions for family right out on Main Street...

The positive. In a good location to walk to many restaurants and bars. Good view from the third floor. The negative. It is an old loud building. Floors are loud and doors don't close tight. Bed was to firm for my liking. Crack heads in the next room kept fighting and security had to settle them down. Roof top area was closed. Parking on street. Did not get a good nights sleep. Overpriced for what you get. Update: stand up company. They did refund my stay.

So many nice little touches: the sound machine is magic!

They have hit it out of the park with this eco focused , lifestyle promoting hotel. The lobby is like walking into a Real Simple centerfold, with every cool arty repurposed decor that one wold expect from an upscale stay in NYC or LA; we're talking record player and gadget sterilized across from the check in desk, where you are created with a complementary beverage- with or without buzz. Down the spacious hall is a common workspace area that makes one want to write a screen play. This accord the hall from the gleaming gym where 2 Pell atoms share space with a bunch of yoga mats and very tasteful planned walk decor.. And you haven't even gotten to your room yet!!! When you do, you'll want to move in. From sitting areas with comfy couches, refrigerator, safe, killer bathroom shower- most importantly of all VERY COMFORTABLE BED. We did this on a last minute splurge so it wasn't cheap but seriously, worth the price in every way. They even plant a tree for you to offset all that carbon you burned getting here. We'll be back.

LOVE this hotel! It is refurbished from the early 1900s but overall, a quaint, comfortable, welcoming place to be! The bed is comfortable, the sheets are amazing, room is spacious (I stayed in King Premium), and the rooftop ... just wow! View of the 5 mountain! Only downsides were the TVs were mounted too high on the wall for comfortable viewing and no coffee maker in the room (only in the lobby). I will Definitely stay here again!

This boutique hotel is awesome with only one flaw. It got full stars for food, drinks, and the adorable room and very nice prices for the quality. But First the flaw because it did annoy me. Everything about this hotel screams dog friendly. All over website, dog friendly and the vibe is clearly there when you check in. Sustainable, earthy, laidback, clean, fresh, good vibes, etc. But, they will not let a dog, even service dog, well trained dog or small dog on the rooftop patio outside which is okay but really???. And they should post this on website. The part that annoys me the most is the incredibly rude and Poorly informed hostess who told us it was against the law. That is untrue. Oregon allows dogs in restaurants. A restaurant can choose to not allow dogs, (unless service dogs) but it's not against the law since 2017 as the rude service hostess "hotly" proclaimed incorrectly. She also didn't ask if ours was a service dog which she really should have. A hotel should not proclaim to be dog friendly, earthy, sustainable, easy going and then not allow a well trained dog outside on a patio. We are in Oregon, it's pretty laid back here. We are traveling through many states and we have our family dog which is the number one reason we stayed here at SCP. Our dog is 100 percent well trained. It's OUTSIDE and she's allowed everywhere else in hotel. Seriously would not have bothered a soul but if this is your POLICY, please eliminate your rude approach (probably isolated to this one person). But if not for this one rude soul and bad policy, the rooftop was seriously a dream and food was outstanding! A little slow on service but it was worth it. The rest of the staff were all VERY GOOD! The awesome bartender makes some of the best drinks I've ever had and I've traveled the world. The food was OUTSTANDING, healthy and tasty beyond anything expected. My husband and I loved it. The room, we booked a suite, was similarly awesome! Huge gorgeous space. Small bathrooms around sink space but large showers and we had two bathrooms so that was nice, and contributed to the charm. Hard wood floors, fluffy pillows, sofa, lots of space and a desk. Clean and nice. Place is downtown. Restaurants everywhere but definitely book a reservation at the rooftop! Hopefully if you have your best furry friend with you, the hotel will have updated their antiquated patio dog policy by the time you stay. And you should definitely stay!!

Great area to set up a laptop and a terrific seating area adjacent from the bed.

I go to RDM to work on a regular basis and this is the hotel I try to book. The Best Western that I stayed in on one of my first visits was unspeakable. This HI lets me request and use my digital key without a front desk visit first which is great when I don't get there until late after work. In other respects it's what you expect from this Hilton brand. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. You get plenty of room to repack and there's a little fridge to keep your drinks and leftovers. An oven as well if you need it. Prices rise with the temperatures in the summer so book it early if you know you're going or you'll get stuck with the Comfort Inn where the patronage is on the sketchy side.

No help from desk, nothing is availble, not even a shower chair. We left, and drove four more hours. To add insult the next day they added another charge to our card. Over $300. After a 20 minute call they said they would remove the charge for a double entry in 5 to 7 business days. The person claimed it was due to a new employee. I think it was poor training. But 5 to 7 business days is their policy, even it is their mistake. Seems to be a nice place, but be extra careful on your reservation, and look at your charges. It is quite expensive for a basic Hotel.

I took that side, since I'm a munchkin: didn't have to worry about hitting my skull on it. There wasn't a coffee maker in the room which was really weird, slightly annoying. Having the option would have been nice but oh well, 6$ Starbucks it is! Our bathtub wouldn't drain. Well, it did, but it took FOREVER. Who knows how many people and how many years worth of hair was built up in that drain. Me and my man had to stand in a pool of our own soapy/dirty water mess. Grody. In the bathroom we got two little bars of soap, a lotion and a conditioner. No shampoo. Wtf? Luckily I hoard hotel shampoos and conditioners, so I already had some. The A/C was the jankiest thing I have ever seen. It looked like they sawed a hole through the wall that wasn't really the right size for it... and it was apparent. It was also SO LOUD. The curtains wouldn't open how I wanted them to open, and I wanted to open the window to get some fresh air but it took both of us to scoot it open it was so stuck. Was an OK deal, I guess... we both slept alright. So did the dog, lol. More comfortable than the last motel I stayed in, for sure.

We returned to Eagle Crest on an Interval International exchange using our Kona Coast Resort unit…read more Eagle Crest is a large project and it's a little confusing about which projects are managed by what company, so I am specifically reviewing the Worldmark Resort property and should not be applied to any other hotels or resorts at Eagle Crest. We have stayed at several Worldmark properties in the past, and this is our definite favorite. First off we were able to fly directly into Redmond from SFO, avoiding a two drive from Portland as that's how we came last time. The airport is small but that's a plus as far as we were concerned, and our Costco rental car from Budget was fine. Our check in was easy and Kiyah was a great rep for Worldmark. We got a text from her a few minutes after we were in the unit asking how things were, and that was a nice touch. The 2 bedroom 2 bath unit was perfect. We own two vacation rentals and live in Kona and are appreciative of a job well done. Everything was immaculate, and it seemed like it had been recently updated. I had called the week before, asking for a unit on the Deschutes river side, and we happily had an end unit with a great view. The gal I spoke with was friendly and let me know that checkin had moved so I had a google map address which made it easy to find. The kitchen had everything one could ask for and more. The dishwasher was the only appliance that needs retirement lol. The bedroom with attached bath and a work desk was excellent. It was relaxing to take a long hot bath in a huge tub after a long flight. We used the Weber grill on the patio three times during the week we were there. The Sisters meat market in Redmond is well worth a visit. One word of warning for people that have problems with stairs: this is a multi floor unit. You enter at one level and go down a flight of stairs to the living room and kitchen and one bedroom with two twins. From the entry you go up a flight to the main bedroom with huge bath/shower and king bed. So there are lots of stairs if you are going up and down from the living room (which is so cozy with the gas fireplace) up to the main bedroom. I'd find someplace else that had less stairs if that's a criteria. I'm typing this as I use the fast 500 mbps (ookala speedtest) internet and we are streaming from our ipad all of our regular addictions. My one complaint, and it is a major one, is the horrible cheap mattresses. There were far too firm, and terrible for both of our backs, resulting in back and neck aches. Perhaps they'd sourced them from a cheap manufacturer, but saving money on mattresses is foolish especially these days when you are judged on how comfortable a nights sleep is. We managed to survive by taking the comforters from the twins and placing them across the king mattress where our hips and shoulders were aching and then got a couple more blankets from housekeeping. It helped, but not enough. We fortunately were staying in an airbnb the following week with a fantastic mattress and the contrast was stunning. I complained about this on our last visit, hopefully with the management change that happened in the summer they will allocate funds to refresh a crucial part of the guest experience, a restful nights sleep. Again, this is a Worldmark exchange and should not be confused with any other property at Eagle Crest. Interval International exchanges have different rules and costs and things like internet access are included. Your experience without being an II member or Worldmark owner may be very different. We exchanged a week in a beautiful timeshare in Kona to stay here and were quite happy. For us, this is one of our favorites and we will definitely be back. Mahalo.
