Do not pay for the park and fly package! Checked in to Super 8 Redmond and requested a non smoking room, but was given a smoking room. When I arrived, the room door was propped open and not locked. In the morning the shuttle was not in front of the building at the time I requested it the night before. The desk clerk said my shuttle had already left. Finally, a boyfriend of the regular driver showed up from inside the motel and used his work pickup to take me. I had to load my bags over his work tools. Not the shuttle service I expected. When I returned from my trip the shuttle was not at the airport to pick me up. I submitted my flight number and times, but they did not provide a pick up based on my information. I had to call two times to get picked up. At 12:30am I was alone in front of the airport still waiting for the shuttle that was over 40 minutes late after my first call. I could have walked to pick up my car faster. Tired and exhausted from a long day, this situation was very dangerous for a single woman and very very unprofessional considering I was paying for the service. I will NEVER use this service again!

Phone next to toilet, in case you need to do business while doing business.

Time to scoot that review average up! Not five stars, mind you, because no Super 8 deserves 5 stars. It's not a five stars kind of place. It's not trying to be. That said, this is a perfectly serviceable place to stay, with a bed, and a shower, and a toilet. It has a desk with a comfy desk chair, where i was able to sit and do work on my laptop. The heat/AC unit is a little ridiculous. It's designed to blow the curtains in the air when it runs. You have to keep the curtains shut so the parking lot light doesn't keep you up. But shit, did I tell you what I paid for this room? $41. That's right, $41. In 2017 that's pretty darn cheap. And that includes TV with HBO, free wifi, and FREE BREAKFAST! Would I eat this free breakfast? Some nasty ass hard boiled eggs and maybe a wall paper paste bagel? Some Captain Crunch and make your own waffle and high fructose corn syrup with caramel color fake maple syrup? Not bloody likely. But still, it's included! But I've saved the best for last. Are you ready? Okay, here we go. There is a telephone in the bathroom next to the toilet!!! I shit you not! You can chat on the phone while you're dropping a duce! You can take care of business while you, you know, take care of business. I know it sounds like I'm making this up, but I swear. There. Is. A. Telephone. Next. To. The. Toilet!!!!! Whoa! What a magical place this Super 8 is.

We stayed here for a wrestling tournament. They had double booked the rooms for our team so the ones we had reserved and paid for were given to other guests. Check in took about 45 minutes trying to put us into other rooms. Some rooms have a microwave and fridge, others only had a tv. If you turn on the heater or AC the curtains fly open so we had to line the window with our luggage to keep it closed. Breakfast was very basic, staff did not refill items that ran out, they kept coming out to make themselves a plate but did not refill anything that was all gone. Front desk worker climbed over the top of the desk to come in and out instead of going through the door. They allowed us to use the conference room for our team meeting which was nice. Bed was comfortable.

    Badly fitting sheets.

My parents made reservations to stay here after attending a wedding in Redmond and I didn't have any say in the booking since I was in the wedding party and super busy and I left it in their hands. They are cheap AF. We rolled up to this place after a long tired day at the wedding and I immediately felt a sense of dread wash over me. The place is stucco inside and out. The exterior, the hallways, the room walls... All stucco. The carpet is worn and grody everywhere. Our non-smoking room smelled like a daggum ashtray and the fitted sheets are too small for the bed and pop off. I hate this place. If I hadn't been a little drunk on champagne and too tired to make a fuss about it I would have gone across the street to the comfort suites. I regret that now. I think I have pretty high standards and I don't usually stay in less expensive hotels like this but I think maybe people who are used to Super 8 and the like would be fine with it. I don't know. All I know is that I stayed at the St. Francis McMenamin's alone two nights before this place and there's a big difference. Bottom line: You get what you pay for in the hotel industry. ‍

Really gross and obviously old/used condom found after chair/furniture had been moved in the room !!!!!
    Sarah V.

I will never stay here again because a USED condom turned up after we moved furniture in the room the last morning of our stay. We did not notice this item at first since it was hidden underneath something, but it had clearly been in the room for quite some time as it looked gross and was caked with lint/dust. Which brings me to another concern that we never actually heard vacuums running during our 2 day stay. The layer of dust/lint surrounding the perimeter of the room proves this room was never deep cleaned. The staff member that initially handled the situation was apologetic and promptly had a housekeeper come and remove the condom. However, when the situation was brought up with the front desk host (Elizabeth) she strongly inferred that we put the item in the room and that there was no way to know who had been responsible for cleaning the room. Elizabeth's exact words were, "Our housekeepers are very thorough and move furniture so I'm not sure how it got there? You checked in and used the room for 2 days, didn't let housekeeping go in and only asked for towels. So who's to say how it got there, your room was deep cleaned before you checked-in." I was so upset and embarrassed that I actually told her (with customers in the lobby) that I have my tubes tied (and obviously don't use condoms with my husband) and I swear we DID NOT put that item in the room. I actually swore to God about it! Plus our kids and grandson had been with us the entire time when we were in the room. We weren't looking for a discount or anything we just wanted it to be clear that someone obviously is not doing their job! The accusation that it could have possibly been our condom was above and beyond ridiculous! The worst part is the thought that if my grandson had been a little younger he may have found it and put it in his mouth. Which is why we were stressing the importance of the situation. Families shouldn't have to worry about that. This was a horrible way to end our vacation, and the fact that Elizabeth was more concerned with blaming us than acknowledging the obvious problem just added insult to injury. SAVE YOURSELF the stress and DON'T EVER BOOK HERE!!!!!!!!!! This place is disgusting!!!! The pool/spa looked clean at first but closer inspection revealed HEAVILY chlorinated, murky water with debris. I could go on but I've shared the worst so I hope no one ever experiences anything like this. It's too bad because at first we thought this was a good place.

I go to RDM to work on a regular basis and this is the hotel I try to book. The Best Western that I stayed in on one of my first visits was unspeakable. This HI lets me request and use my digital key without a front desk visit first which is great when I don't get there until late after work. In other respects it's what you expect from this Hilton brand. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. You get plenty of room to repack and there's a little fridge to keep your drinks and leftovers. An oven as well if you need it. Prices rise with the temperatures in the summer so book it early if you know you're going or you'll get stuck with the Comfort Inn where the patronage is on the sketchy side.

No help from desk, nothing is availble, not even a shower chair. We left, and drove four more hours. To add insult the next day they added another charge to our card. Over $300. After a 20 minute call they said they would remove the charge for a double entry in 5 to 7 business days. The person claimed it was due to a new employee. I think it was poor training. But 5 to 7 business days is their policy, even it is their mistake. Seems to be a nice place, but be extra careful on your reservation, and look at your charges. It is quite expensive for a basic Hotel.

I took that side, since I'm a munchkin: didn't have to worry about hitting my skull on it. There wasn't a coffee maker in the room which was really weird, slightly annoying. Having the option would have been nice but oh well, 6$ Starbucks it is! Our bathtub wouldn't drain. Well, it did, but it took FOREVER. Who knows how many people and how many years worth of hair was built up in that drain. Me and my man had to stand in a pool of our own soapy/dirty water mess. Grody. In the bathroom we got two little bars of soap, a lotion and a conditioner. No shampoo. Wtf? Luckily I hoard hotel shampoos and conditioners, so I already had some. The A/C was the jankiest thing I have ever seen. It looked like they sawed a hole through the wall that wasn't really the right size for it... and it was apparent. It was also SO LOUD. The curtains wouldn't open how I wanted them to open, and I wanted to open the window to get some fresh air but it took both of us to scoot it open it was so stuck. Was an OK deal, I guess... we both slept alright. So did the dog, lol. More comfortable than the last motel I stayed in, for sure.

We returned to Eagle Crest on an Interval International exchange using our Kona Coast Resort unit…read more Eagle Crest is a large project and it's a little confusing about which projects are managed by what company, so I am specifically reviewing the Worldmark Resort property and should not be applied to any other hotels or resorts at Eagle Crest. We have stayed at several Worldmark properties in the past, and this is our definite favorite. First off we were able to fly directly into Redmond from SFO, avoiding a two drive from Portland as that's how we came last time. The airport is small but that's a plus as far as we were concerned, and our Costco rental car from Budget was fine. Our check in was easy and Kiyah was a great rep for Worldmark. We got a text from her a few minutes after we were in the unit asking how things were, and that was a nice touch. The 2 bedroom 2 bath unit was perfect. We own two vacation rentals and live in Kona and are appreciative of a job well done. Everything was immaculate, and it seemed like it had been recently updated. I had called the week before, asking for a unit on the Deschutes river side, and we happily had an end unit with a great view. The gal I spoke with was friendly and let me know that checkin had moved so I had a google map address which made it easy to find. The kitchen had everything one could ask for and more. The dishwasher was the only appliance that needs retirement lol. The bedroom with attached bath and a work desk was excellent. It was relaxing to take a long hot bath in a huge tub after a long flight. We used the Weber grill on the patio three times during the week we were there. The Sisters meat market in Redmond is well worth a visit. One word of warning for people that have problems with stairs: this is a multi floor unit. You enter at one level and go down a flight of stairs to the living room and kitchen and one bedroom with two twins. From the entry you go up a flight to the main bedroom with huge bath/shower and king bed. So there are lots of stairs if you are going up and down from the living room (which is so cozy with the gas fireplace) up to the main bedroom. I'd find someplace else that had less stairs if that's a criteria. I'm typing this as I use the fast 500 mbps (ookala speedtest) internet and we are streaming from our ipad all of our regular addictions. My one complaint, and it is a major one, is the horrible cheap mattresses. There were far too firm, and terrible for both of our backs, resulting in back and neck aches. Perhaps they'd sourced them from a cheap manufacturer, but saving money on mattresses is foolish especially these days when you are judged on how comfortable a nights sleep is. We managed to survive by taking the comforters from the twins and placing them across the king mattress where our hips and shoulders were aching and then got a couple more blankets from housekeeping. It helped, but not enough. We fortunately were staying in an airbnb the following week with a fantastic mattress and the contrast was stunning. I complained about this on our last visit, hopefully with the management change that happened in the summer they will allocate funds to refresh a crucial part of the guest experience, a restful nights sleep. Again, this is a Worldmark exchange and should not be confused with any other property at Eagle Crest. Interval International exchanges have different rules and costs and things like internet access are included. Your experience without being an II member or Worldmark owner may be very different. We exchanged a week in a beautiful timeshare in Kona to stay here and were quite happy. For us, this is one of our favorites and we will definitely be back. Mahalo.
