Michael was very welcoming, knowledgeable, funny, engaging, and provided an extra treat of cream cheese stuffed strawberries for the class because it was Mother's Day. Thank you Michael for your hospitality! I hope to purchase a kitchen aid with pasta attachment very soon. I brought home some lemon caper sauce for myself and my daughter, and thank you for the recommendation on the scraper as well. I love Williams Sonoma. We always look forward to going to the Pavillions for brunch, and this beautiful store afterward!

I really love this place. I heard they teach cooking. I love baking and cooking. I would look into it and try to take a class. Also the workers are so helpful. They ask if you need any help. Reminds me of that constant hospitality like Nordstroms. Its really nice It's really a great place.

I am always amazed at the wonderful food and service, and the great tips I learn about cooking. This time, my daughter was just as amazed and she commented when we left that she feels like everyone who works here really loves her, like her own family. You really will feel like part of the family and enjoy yourself so much if you come to a cooking class here. I recommend this place to everyone! Tip: use the sale codes on the website and sign up for emails to hear about sales.

This is not a true restaurant, so it's cluttered with dusty dated decor and cooking/serving items. They wait for the entire class to arrive - so it can start later than expected. Please don't be late!! Bring your own apron, hair tie; and take home containers for leftovers. They do upsell the dessert to take home - which is yummy and home made but just FYI Overall: it seems this business is aging and slowing down over the past few years and it shows. They are trying to hang in there. Napoli: Hire a professional crew to deep clean the entire place and reduce the dusty and faded decor. Reset the atmosphere. If you advertise a movie, play it.

I first met Mayumi (pronounced My-you-me) at a cooking class I took through Learning Exchange. In…read morecase you haven't heard of it, there are classes you can take in a variety of subjects for your own or your child's personal enrichment. I had long given up on ever learning to cook. I assure you I can follow the directions on a Mac and Cheese box, a package of Top Ramen, or cake mix recipe. But besides that, I was pretty lost in the kitchen. I know it sounds pretty pathetic to some, but in this fast paced world we live in, I just never got those lessons from my parents before I left home. Eating out all the time can be pretty fun, but after awhile you crave a good home cooked meal. I've been fortunate enough to have people in my life that always knew how to cook. But it never felt right to put that kind of burden on the other person to always be the one to cook all the time. So I decided to it was time to reverse the course of my life and start taking cooking classes. After meeting Mayumi though Learning Exchange, I was intrigued to find out she also offered personal cooking lessons. So, I signed me and my eldest son up (whose 13 years old). Mayumi will come to your house (pretty much anywhere in the greater Sacramento area-including El Dorado hills and Roseville). And she will teach you (and up to a party of 6) how to prepare and cook four recipes. She also covers what's good to keep in the pantry, how to save money on groceries, and what are the best cooking items to make sure to have on hand. I was thoroughly impressed. I love her style of teaching lessons. She keeps things as simple as possible so that even beginners like me feel like it's something not impossible to learn. I can now stir fry meat, cook pasta with shrimp and veggies in it, the best mashed potatoes you've ever had, and make a delicious Greek salad to go with it. My son did an awesome job. We will be making these recipes again soon so that he'll really be able to do these on his own as well. I suddenly feel a new inspiration in me to try new recipes that I never had before. I feel more confident that the kitchen is not a place to fear but a place to bring people together and make happy memories. If you haven't heard of Fork & Knife Creations I highly recommend checking out the website and reading up on all the wonderful things Mayumi has to offer. It's definitely worth the investment of time and money!

She is knowledgeable and expert at her craft and always organized and well-prepared. She has a pleasantly engaging manner of delivery. Out of her classes, I have collected some of my favorite recipes such as mac and cheese, heirloom tomato soup, Asian ribs, strawberry shortcake, casseroles and tarts and way too many more recipes to list here. She is really so versatile, you will be hard pressed to choose. You absolutely have to sign up for classes with her! The quality of your cooking will improve exponentially. Sharon C.

The cost is insane and the kitchens are shared. As a chef, I prefer a real kitchen with a gas…read morestove, grill and traditional equipment. Personally, I do not want to have equipment that does everything for me. I enjoy filling my own pots, and cooking real burgers, using a grill etc. It reminded me of an "air fryer" kitchen. High tech German Equipment that is designed for "lazy cooks". I understand precision cooking. But typically if you are a good cook, you use your skills to achieve this. Additionally, I spent over $200 to prepare the owner food as he said he needed to try my food first. I am not running my business yet and that really hurt my wallet. Naturally, I wanted to provide them with exceptional food. They were blown away by my recipes and they were polite. However, I was not comfortable with the idea of being rushed into signing a contract and paying a $500 membership fee. $3500 a month for only 100 hours of kitchen time with multiple people. Additionally, I was not offered any form of monetary assistance or even food to prepare for them. This is one of the very few kitchens recommended by the Health Department in Sacramento and unfortunately they are not in business to help entrepreneurs get started. Eddy is in business to make a lump sum profit. Speaking of Health Department, he stated multiple times that he had connections in the health department and could guarantee getting my permits pushed through. I did not understand why he thought I needed that. He implied there was a lot of hoops to get over. I suppose that was his pitch to try to get me to sign up. The location is tucked away far from visibility in an office complex. They encourage you to use delivery apps and they do not offer commissary services for equipment. After a long and unsuccessful search in this area I found a true blue 24 hour kitchen in Livermore run by Michelle called New Tradition Artisan Kitchen. She blew me away with her customer service. She is working with me and the rates are the most reasonable I have found. The rates and accommodations make up for the trip there and back.
