    Cute place!

Cutest place! Came by last weekend to pick up a cupcake kit for a virtual event. I was greeted by Remi who was very friendly and showed me around! It's a great space to host private parties and events! Plenty of photo ops! There were little hints of Disney hidden all around. My family and I used to go to Disneyland a few times a year before COVID so I definitely loved seeing that. They are located on 16th and U St next to Tomato Alley! They also have street parking. I hope to attend an event here in the future!

Love this place, they host all kinds of creative events for small businesses and creative enthusiasts alike. I got my Nothing Fancy Bakery kit here for a Yelp event and I also stopped by before Christmas for their little festival they were putting on for several small business vendors and got some super yummy cookies, cakes and more Nothing Fancy Bakery cupcakes. They were compliant with all COVID guidelines during the little fair and monitored the number of people inside at a time. They host events like paint and pottery nights which I really look forward to once we're post COVID.

What a great place to showcase local businesses! The place had a handful of coffee vendors and it's perfect for a coffee addict like myself. I definitely enjoyed the Black Sails Coffee. It went perfect with the coffee cake from Tiyana's Treats! I purchased some brownies which were just as great as the coffee cake. I also purchased some of the super cute bamboo stickers. Overall the space is great and you can find something from every vendor.

Such a fun spot to visit. . Well there is a space for creativity individuals or people who want to rent the space for some banquet, graduation celebration, anything actually . They say that this places comes with a kitchen specialty for baking. Which is very neat for people who loves to bake and sell goods. . Yes you can cook inside too im sure in the kitchen but nothing hard-core ,like maybe a stove but not like a wok and depp fryer and etc,, I think. . The sapce inside is nice and roomy with some hard wood floor. The walls are bright and white. The lighting inside is great. The entrance is formal and has a little area for like waiting before entering into the main room. . The location is near the freeway so it's close to Broadway and nearby lots of street parking. Great for people who don't like driving into midtown where its confusing for some people who don't like one way streets. Also easy access too the freeway to go home after an event at this creative space. . The last few times I been here is when they had some pop up on the side of the street I front of this spot. They had various local artists that sell like hand made jewelry, art, painting, plants, food. . Overall this is such a neat idea for a fun creative space to rent out to be creative and also have fun and maybe promote ones creative business if they are starting out. Thanks for reading and have a yelptastic day!

Came here for a Yelp Elite pick up. While here I was pleasantly surprised by the Sugar Rush Market taking place inside of the Creative Space. Sugar Rush Market consisted of Several local vendors showcasing their baked goods, crafts and other items.

A glimpse of what they have to offer.

How wonderful it is that Sacramento has The Creative Space to offer local businesses a place to shine into thrive?! I went into this business to pick up an item I needed for another yelp event. I was pleasantly surprised when I ended up purchasing so many cool stickers too! From what I gathered I believe that this business is ran by a mother and a daughter. When I spoke to these wonderful ladies they were very kind and welcoming. One of my favorite things from this experience was that I learned that they are supporting local artists. I discovered many cool things on my adventure here. I am looking forward to seeing what they have to offer in the future. I can't wait to go back because this space is awesome.

Remy was super sweet when we picked up our cupcakes. They sold infused alcohol popcorns which I bought as gifts. We were given a free sample and oh my goodness that tequila infused popcorn was so delicious! This place was cute and available to be used for gatherings.

I can't recommend this place enough! Remy & Jennifer own The Creative Space and are a pleasure to work with! I'm lucky enough to be able to host our Grazing Gouda Charcuterie Classes here a few times a month! This place is perfect if you need an event space to rent, but they specialize in highlighting local artisans to come and teach their craft at their beautiful location! Every weekend they have popups with lots of Sacramento small businesses and they go above and beyond for the community! I have such a great time teaching classes here and my guests really enjoy them! It's a great location too!

I recently stopped by the creative space for an event. I was greeted by remy. She was extremely sweet and I took a tour. The creative space was a beautiful and trendy space. It's extremely versatile and can be used for artist demos, workshops, bridal parties, baby showers, baking classes and anything else someone can dream up! If you have any hosting needs this is the place to go!

I attended the Hawaiian themed ono food Pop Up event on 3/20/2022. The vendors were awesome both food and creative artists. I will definitely be back soon!

I am always amazed at the wonderful food and service, and the great tips I learn about cooking. This time, my daughter was just as amazed and she commented when we left that she feels like everyone who works here really loves her, like her own family. You really will feel like part of the family and enjoy yourself so much if you come to a cooking class here. I recommend this place to everyone! This is not a true restaurant, so it's cluttered with dusty dated decor and cooking/serving items. They wait for the entire class to arrive - so it can start later than expected. Please don't be late!! Bring your own apron, hair tie; and take home containers for leftovers. They do upsell the dessert to take home - which is yummy and home made but just FYI Overall: it seems this business is aging and slowing down over the past few years and it shows. They are trying to hang in there. Napoli: Hire a professional crew to deep clean the entire place and reduce the dusty and faded decor. Reset the atmosphere. If you advertise a movie, play it.

In…read morecase you haven't heard of it, there are classes you can take in a variety of subjects for your own or your child's personal enrichment. I had long given up on ever learning to cook. I assure you I can follow the directions on a Mac and Cheese box, a package of Top Ramen, or cake mix recipe. But besides that, I was pretty lost in the kitchen. I know it sounds pretty pathetic to some, but in this fast paced world we live in, I just never got those lessons from my parents before I left home. Eating out all the time can be pretty fun, but after awhile you crave a good home cooked meal. I've been fortunate enough to have people in my life that always knew how to cook. But it never felt right to put that kind of burden on the other person to always be the one to cook all the time. So I decided to it was time to reverse the course of my life and start taking cooking classes. After meeting Mayumi though Learning Exchange, I was intrigued to find out she also offered personal cooking lessons. So, I signed me and my eldest son up (whose 13 years old). Mayumi will come to your house (pretty much anywhere in the greater Sacramento area-including El Dorado hills and Roseville). And she will teach you (and up to a party of 6) how to prepare and cook four recipes. She also covers what's good to keep in the pantry, how to save money on groceries, and what are the best cooking items to make sure to have on hand. I was thoroughly impressed. I love her style of teaching lessons. She keeps things as simple as possible so that even beginners like me feel like it's something not impossible to learn. I can now stir fry meat, cook pasta with shrimp and veggies in it, the best mashed potatoes you've ever had, and make a delicious Greek salad to go with it. My son did an awesome job. We will be making these recipes again soon so that he'll really be able to do these on his own as well. I suddenly feel a new inspiration in me to try new recipes that I never had before. I feel more confident that the kitchen is not a place to fear but a place to bring people together and make happy memories. If you haven't heard of Fork & Knife Creations I highly recommend checking out the website and reading up on all the wonderful things Mayumi has to offer. It's definitely worth the investment of time and money!
