But every time I visit Paesanos I get both of those things. On my most recent visit to the restaurant, I had the pleasure of being served by Clemens. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and helped me find the perfect meal(Fettucine Arrositi) to fit my current dietary restrictions. He also helped my grandma find something on the menu that wouldn't be too carb heavy since she is diabetic. He was pleasant all around, he was patient with my grandma all night and made me feel like he truly valued our time and didn't rush us. He is everything you want in a server-kind,direct,knowledgeable, and dependable. I would come back any time just to get customer service like that. Now on to the food, I had the Fettucine Arrositi which I believe is their signature dish. I have had it before but this time it was especially delicious. The sauce has a flavor like no other pasta I've ever had it's rich but not too rich creamy but not too creamy and the thing that sets it apart from other creamy pastas is the subtle Cajun flavor. It tastes a bit like old bay and Tabasco to me with some other amazing things in it I'm sure but it was delicious 9/10 My grandma likes to order a lot of things for the table because she never got to have that so she ordered a bunch of things for herself to try and for me to finish. We had the meatballs and they were fantastic but she felt they were too big haha 9/10. Then we had the calamari which was my favorite of the appetizers we ordered. I'm hoping next time to try the polenta fries. Then for her main course my grandma had the wedge salad which she loved but she did mention she wished it had lots more bacon and I can't blame because I too always want more bacon on things. All in all it was a great experience and I will be back very soon.

Fresh and fast. I want to try all those deserts. Sandwiches made with great crusty sub bread! I had the best dill potato salad. They had lots of food you could take to go and many customers pre ordered food. Lots of food for you to cook yourself at home. I just wish they had pasta dishes there to eat. Pasta dishes were fresh pasta and fresh marinara but they did not cook it there. Was in a deli case for you to cook at home. Wide variety of desserts and sides. I'll try the canolli next time. The place was pretty busy when I got there. I waited in line to pay for my order since I called it in already. I waited 10-15 mins more for my sandwich order. I thought my order would be ready by the time I arrived. It has been at least 1/2 hr. since I placed my order. The staff are nice and friendly. I ordered seasonal turkey sandwich, since they were out of the prime rib sandwich. The turkey sandwich was really good. The sandwich was neatly wrapped in parchment paper. Everything was fresh. The sandwich was made well. It was neatly stacked, and everything was held in place. The bread was nicely toasted. Nothing was out of place. I really appreciate how much care they put into my sandwich. With some of the other sandwich shops, the ingredients are not slopped on, and everything looks sloppy when you get your order. My sandwich tasted really good. Everything in the sandwich went well together. All of the flavors meshed well together. My co-worker really enjoyed her sandwich also. She ordered the Reuben. I would come again. I really enjoyed my sandwich.

The extra they pour into the shaker on the side essentially makes it 2.5 drinks, which is a very generous touch. The calamari was a great choice to share: a big serving and delicious. For dinner we went with the tagliata di manzo and the east side pizza. The steak was tender and flavorful, but the real standout was the salad that came alongside it, genuinely one of the best bites of the night and something I'll 100% be coming back for. The pizza was decent but not something I'd order again. Our waiter was attentive and did a great job spacing out our courses, which was especially appreciated since the patio table is on the smaller side. The patio itself has a lot of charm, though the flies were relentless and made it hard to enjoy the outdoor setting, next time I'd opt to sit inside. Overall a solid spot with some real standout moments. The martinis and that tagliata salad alone are worth a return visit.

It was quite loaded with good turkey meat and lots of avocado. I liked the use of arugula although it's not a popular veggie amongst most. I also like the pepperoncini which some might pick out. The bread was pretty solid too, but not for the faint of carbs... Shall we jump over the salad straight to the dessert? The cookie was quite delish so that I forgot to let my camera take a bite before I took a chunk off and popped that into my mouth. It's got the chewiness, but also a bit of crunch around the edges. But what really surprised me was how good the chickpea / Garbanzo bean salad was! It was light, refreshing and flavorful, I forgot to get a picture. In any case, the whole meal was tasty and the sandwich was hefty so even half was too much at one sitting. Since it was a catered event, I can't comment on the service, but the presentation was good on the tables and the packaging of each box was careful and thoughtful. Overall, OBO' did a great job. I'm not usually in East Sac much, but now that I know about OBO', I'm going to have to go check them out.

It's that mix of a lively sports bar with really good Italian food, all inside a historic space filled with sports memorabilia. Walking in feels like stepping back in time with all the vintage photos everywhere. Knowing Joe Marty, a former professional baseball player, originally opened his bar here back in 1938 and seeing how they've renovated it without losing that character makes it feel like a really special piece of the city. One of my favorite moments was when my husband ordered a Manhattan and the bartender came over and poured it tableside. It turned into this whole little production and the table next to us immediately ordered one too, which was kind of fun to watch. The food held up just as well. My teen had the spaghetti with marinara and meatballs on the side and finished the entire plate, which says everything. I told our waiter Sean to surprise me and he brought out the lobster ravioli and I was not mad about that at all. It was so good. My husband ordered the carbonara with shrimp and that was also a hit. The bread came out warm and fresh, but just a heads up the dipping sauce was pretty spicy. Our palates was definitely feeling it, so we ended up switching to balsamic and olive oil instead. Even the restrooms had things to look at, including old Land Park newspapers, which just adds to how much character this place has. Helpful tip: If you're not sure what to order, let your server guide you. Ours nailed it. I had actually been here years ago before the renovations, so coming back and seeing it now was really special. It still has that history, just updated in the best way.

This one has one of the coolest interiors I have seen. I think if my memory is correct, it used to be a post office. They have stained glass, there is a train caboose in the middle of the restaurant, the bar is pretty chic. Usually, I get the spaghetti with meat sauce because you get the full works. A salad with pesto dressing, spaghetti and to finish a scoop of delicious spumoni ice cream. This last time however I switched it up and got the Italian cream soda; which comes in a cool souvenir glass, the cheesy garlic bread for my appetizer, and then for my entrée I got the manager's favorite. It includes any two sauces, so for my sauces I went with the rich meat sauce, as well as the white clam sauce. Everything was tasty, the portions were generous and I had some leftover to take home for lunch the next day. I absolutely love the old spaghetti factory, thank you for all the memories with my family and for all the new ones with my friends and partner.

The waitress was young and inexperienced. We ordered drinks. My dad's cocktail was wrong and also they took almost 20 minutes to make their way to our table. We ordered entrees at 8. We did NOT get our food for over an 1 hour and 15 minutes. RIDICULOUS! Literally it our food came out at 9:15 at night...WTF!!! We asked the waitress after waiting 45 minutes to check. She was rather brash and said "it would be a while?" WHAT does that even mean we asked? She said there were A LOT of tickets. That was odd because the restaurant was clearing out by that point. We were getting a little anxious and upset after waiting for so long. They didn't even bother to bring my sons food so he could eat. The manager came out shortly after we asked the waitress where our food was. He was VERY crass and not helpful. He told us that the reason the food was taking so long was because of the chicken entrees. Lol. Comical. He said that cooking the chicken 8 minutes or so casued a 75 minute delay. It was a less than ideal experience and the events of the night left a bad taste. My mitzra pasta was absolutely trash and disgusting. O threw it away when I got home after taking one bite. The lack of customer service and ability from both the waitress AND the manager to address our concerns and get us decent food in a timely manner even after expressing our frustration was unfavorable..not sure we will be back after this. In a environment where food costs are rising and customer service is on the decline how you treat your customer speaks volumes about whether they will return or not. I suggest OSF tries to do better in the future if they want to stay around because horrible service AND horrible food is not a good combo.
