This is the second time I have had Screen Mobile come to my home. Moi was the person who came out this year as well as last year. He was very professional and very fast. My new screens are great! Last year Moi installed a dog door into my sliding screen door. I have a 73 pound dog and he easily goes in and out and the screen door has held the dog door in place beautifully. HORRIBLE COMPANY! I requested two window frame replacements. The technician talked me into getting all four new frames and quoted me $225.00 which I agreed to. My windows and screens were only a little over one year old and the screens were in excellent condition, however two of the frames were bent. I paid the technician who said he would email an invoice and receipt. After he left, I realized that he only did three new frames and rescreened one. I called and Matt called me back. He said that the technician told me he was doing three frames and one rescreen. I told him that I would NEVER would have agreed or paid for a rescreen when my screen was in perfect condition. Matt would not listen to me, told me that I asked the technician to rescreen and then began intimating me and yelling at me so I hung up. I stopped payment on the check, then Matt said he would do the additional frame for 15.00 more which I agreed to. Then later said he wanted me to pay $275. to cover the returned check fee. So he wants me to pay an additional 50.00 for the technician to do what he originally said he would do for $225. Matt then stated he would put a lien on my property. I am a 67 year old woman who simply wants what she was quoted, I am not trying to avoid paying for work performed. I cannot believe that Matt would go to these extremes over $15. Matt came out on Tuesday to provide an estimate for a dual swinging screen door for my mom's place. He was on time and answered all of our questions. We placed the order at 6:00pm on Tuesday and were very happy to hear that they could install as early as today (Friday). Probably a 3 1/2 star to be honest. They came out earlier this week, very nice guys. But, showed up an hour late without a call. Replaced two screens.....one is not fitted right, you can slip a card between the screen and the casing so I am concerned about pests coming in. The other, it was a black framed screened, and they replaced it with a white. Unfortunately, looks bad from outside, and all the trim a super dark brown so the white really stands out. Hubby is going to spray paint it. Prices were very fair. read more

Matt does great work. He installed our third Phantom screen and it is great. Would recommend him for any of your screen needs. All our Phantoms are for French doors, But you need two hands to open them. He must have them at his home. He asked, did anyone tell you about the locks? You only need 1 hand to open the screen. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE -- HORRIBLE COMPANY, OWNER MATT RUDAR VERY RUDE AND DISHONEST. I paid $950 for 2 retractable screens and when Moi installed them, both screens were very saggy and lumpy all along the whole bottom half of the screen. Matt said he would not come out and check the defects 8nless I paid hi $100 for his time as a "service call" -- inspecting a customer's complaints of defects or problems with initial install is Not a service call. He also would not remove the screens and give me my mone back unless I agreed to give up my $20- deposit - UNBELIEVABLE! Nowhere in any pa-erw0rk does it say deposit will be forfeited if you are not satisfied with finished product. I have had retractable screens 5 of them in my prior homes and I loved them. I went with this company because they were local. Big mistake. I am reporting Matt to the Contractor's License Board--and filing complaint against him, reporting also to the Better Business Board, Houz, Angie's list and I am filing a civil lawsuit to get my money back and have him come and get these horrible screens off of my property. Please go to the Mobile Screen people instead as they do an excellent job and great products they stand by. Unless you want to pay top dollar for crummy, saggy, lumpy screens, do not use these guys. I had to select a rating to post this, but their rating is actually a negative 10-the absolute WORST. read more

I hired Screenmobile of Southern Orange County to install a new Phantom retractable screen door on my condo in Dana Point. The Phantom door is a quality product and the price was fair, but Moi and Matt did a very poor job on the installation. Lots of trouble trying to get them to fix it and the door still doesn't fit the opening properly. I would definitely not recommend them. read more

Orange County residents beware! I just had a screen installed on my front door. 2 days later my son bumps the screen and it breaks! How could the screen that ScreenMobile claimed was the strongest on the market have broken from this? We've always had screen doors and have never had a problem. I assumed that ScreenMobile would do the right thing and fix the screen at no cost considering we'd only had it a couple of days. Well, that didn't happen! They just came to my house and promtly stated that "they didn't know if I had been made aware (I had NOT been made aware), but there would be a $100 fee for fixing the screen. Additionally, since the screen had been sitting for several days (because they couldn't come look at the screen when we called and the soonest appointment was 1/1/2 weeks later) was folded over, there was now a crease that needed to be fixed so the cost was going to be $175. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I don't understand how this is possible. My husband even spoke to the manager to see if they would do the right thing, but they didn't. Now I just have a big broken screen on my front door read more

Do not even bother calling this company, at least not in the South Orange County area serviced by their San Clemente location. You will only get a recorded answer and they will not return your call. We called and left messages two days in a row, No response. We called the corporate office on the third day and were given a bragging smoke screen about how many areas they serve and how busy there were. We even tried calling their North Orange County office to see if they could help and actually got a person on he line that said we could only be serviced by their South Orange County office, agreed out experience was unacceptable and agreed to email the guy in charge to make sure he contacted us. She assured me that he at least responds to his emails. Over one week later - no response. Called another company that was endorsed by both Yelp and Angie's List - Mobile Screen Service. They answered the phone with a live human on the first call. I made the appointment that day. They showed up on time and got the business. Screen Mobile of South Orange County does not need your business. Try anybody else first an watch out for the similarity in names. The good one we got the Mobile Screen Service.
