He used to be in this area but now services more near the VA Beach area. I was recommnded to him uyaers ag o for shutters/blinds because of his affortable pricing. YEAH WHAT A MISTAKE. You really do get what you paid for. So we bought a new home a few years ago and purchased the shutters/blinds before we moved in. We moved in March 2022 with the order being placed like January 2022 during the building process of the home. The wait to install the shutters ONLY was so long. He did not install them until like 8 months after moving in the home. There was a little production delay, but he told us it would only be like 2 months for the delay. During our wait, Steve barely communicated with us. He always said he was doing something with a family member or something strange. IT WAS SO UNPROFESISNAL. I had to contact him for any updates. During installation the shutters were very poor quality as well. Then after this, we had to still wait for or blinds. We literally just got our blinds a few months ago. It is 2025. LOL. It does NOT take that long to get blinds. THAT BE CRAZY!!! I will never get any window treatments and this guy should not be in business. Do not support him! Seriously, don't go here. There are a lot of other places to get window treatments local or online. They may be more expensive but it's worth it so you don't have to wait for like 3 years!!! Do not give him any business!!!

I highly recommend them. I really wanted to ensure I supported a local, family business for much of what we needed for our new home. They also did our blinds for the second floor bedrooms. No complaints about anything!

A poor review from me is rare. That said, had I seen the previous negative review prior to choosing the company I may have proceeded differently. I originally put in an inquiry for a deep cleaning through the project feature on Yelp. I was contacted by Sherri, the mother of the owner who informed me she helps her daughter with scheduling. I explained that I needed a deep cleaning prior to a move in. She asked questions about the size of my home and specifics that should be done. She initially quoted $350 which I knew was too low for the size of the home and scope of the project. I asked if they wanted to schedule a walk through for estimate and she said that wasn't necessary. I told her that I wanted to pay a fair price for the task and told her that I would send pics of the house for reference of the size and condition. I sent a number of pictures and indicated problem areas such as the kitchen floor, dirty windows and Dusty blinds throughout. I was informed that given the specifics of the "chore list" and the request for interior Windows the fee would be $650, to which I agreed. Destiny and Christi (the owner) arrived on the designated Saturday morning a few minutes late due to an understandable bridge lift delay. The cleaning products and equipment they had seemed minimal and of low quality. They explained that they forgot to pack any gloves and were running to late to pick any up on the way. I offered gloves and showed them a pantry equipped with cleaning supplies and told them they were welcome to use anything in the closet to include any of the snacks, water, red bull, as all the items were purchased specifically for people helping in the home. I gave a walk through of the house and told them that I'm available for any questions or comments. The ladies were friendly and got to work. Unfortunately, even after 5.5 hours of cleaning, none of the areas appeared well cleaned. Wiping of surfaces seemed to just smear on clear or shiny surfaces. Blinds received a cursory brush with the swifter duster but needed an actual wet wipe given they did not appear to have been cleaned for quite some time. I was surprised to see them work ungloved in the toilet and mopping with a basic bucket (no wheels) and what appeared to be a dollar store quality mop being squeezed by hand back in between dunking back into the dirty mop water. The mop water was not changed at any point, just dumped at the end. I pointed out that the interior stove and window was still filthy and the young lady explained she did her best by wiping with Windex and a rag. They did not have oven cleaner or know of other products to clean oven interiors. Here's where things really went left...At about 4pm Sherri (the mother of the owner) called me and said she was unable to get in contact with the young ladies. I informed her they were still at my home and I could have them call her. Sherri went on to say that the ladies missed their 2 other afternoon appointments "trying to clean my home" so I would need to pay more. I replied that I would be paying the agreed upon price that I received in advance in writing and that if there was an issue with that price it should have been discussed with me during the walk through or at whatever time they realized they could not fulfill the agreed upon contract. Sherri became upset, loudly talking over me, and told me that the "girls are young and don't know those things" and that because they chose to not show up to their other appointments it's only fair that I pay them more. Mind you, Christi-the owner, is inside my house and has not said one word about the job being over time. Not sure who schedules 2 inexperienced young ladies to do a "deep clean" of a 2800sq ft. home with 4 bathrooms with 2.5 hours as the alotted time. Sherri informed me that if I wasn't going to pay more the cleaners needed to leave, which was fine since the majority of it needed to be redone anyway. I paid the agreed upon amount and the following day invited Sherri the opportunity to come do a walk through of the home and smell the dirty mop smell that was now overwhelming, prior to my review. She declined and said that I was told they "don't specialize in windows" and that my comments about the work were "harassment." (Side note: their page indicates interior window cleaning as a specific service offered). This company may be ok if you have a need for very basic vacuuming or light dusting (that you don't want wiped free of dust). They did a nice job cleaning the tubs and toilets (credit where I can give it) but the bathroom floors were not thoroughly swept or mopped in any corners or areas behind toilet, or under claw foot tub. I'm including a few pics that I have already shared with the company.

After they finished the dust was gone and the place is ready for a renter to move in. I would recommend them to anybody looking for a great deep cleaning.
