Really friendly staff. Quick turnaround times with clothes. However, I went to have my wedding dress cleaned and put in one of their gold keepsake boxes. The person working the front didn't know the exact price my dress would cost to clean so I asked for a phone call before the cleaning so I could know what to expect. No one called. I came back to pick it up the day they told me to come and it was not ready. No phone call no notice. The owner was there and told me they ran out of boxes and would call when they get some in stock. I came back a week and a half later to get my other dry cleaning and asked about my dress. Luckily it was ready to pick up but no one called to tell me that. The pricing on wedding dress cleaning with a keepsake box was $175. Veil cleaning is $35 which is very expensive to me. Had I known the pricing of the veil I would not have paid for that. These work jeans always get torn because the work my boyfriend does is construction. I asked if they can sew the hole and make it sturdy and it was well worth the week wait. Last week, on Monday, I brought in a jumpsuit that I needed taken in on the sides and the straps had to be shortened. I had to have it for an event on Saturday evening and while I was worried about the possibility of it not being enough notice for the tailor, it was finished on Friday after five p.m. It fit perfectly and was pressed very nicely. Not bad at all, like the fact that they returned my collar stays and charge a fair price for the shirts. They also put a little plastic thing in the collar, cool, but a hassle to remove and unbutton. If I moved hours away I would still drive. It's worth it for such a high level of service. I also use them for all of my tailoring. I would never trust my clothes with anyone else. There prices were unbeatable and the customer service is incomparable. There was a friendly face that greeted me as I walked in who was genuinely happy to see me. She set me up as a new customer in the system and I got a percentage off because it was my first time there, which made it even better. The best part about the whole thing was my cleaned clothes showed up at my work the next day! I was blown away. I work close by, but I didn't set up for delivery. They just took care of it. Brought a blazer in to get the sleeves altered. Was told I could pick it up in 6 days, but when I came in the day promised, they were closed and they did not tell me they would be closed. When I finally picked it up there was little to no difference of the fit (it still looked baggy on me) and it was very sloppily done (I could feel the thread rubbing against my arms and it was uncomfortable. There were a lot of loose/showing threads). They also charge a lot ($45 for taking in the sleeves and around the same on top of that for shortening it as well). I am giving two stars because they did not force me to pay when I was dissatisfied and even offered for me to leave it there and get it fixed for free and have me pick it up in a week. But I needed it in a couple days so unfortunately it was too late. read more

Fantastic service from Maggie at this location and Alex (the owner) at the Golden Valley location! It was a recent Wednesday evening, I needed a blazer to be dry cleaned for a gig that Friday morning and I didn't know that pretty much every dry cleaning place has had to cut back to every other day cleanings. So I drove to multiple places, called multiple places and just got a hard no on all fronts, except for Maggie who was extremely friendly and offered to call the other location and speak with the owner to see what they could do. Within moments she called me back and said that the Golden Valley location would be able to put a rush on it and have it ready as early as I needed it Friday morning and not only did they have it ready even earlier than that, but they didn't even charge a rush a fee! This place is awesome. Not only are they environmentally friendly, but the location could not be better (right off the I-5). But best of all, they really go out of their way for their customers. Case in point: the first time I ever went there, I came in on a weekend and told the (very nice) lady I did not need my clothes ready until the following weekend. Well, I got last-minute notice on Thursday that I would need my suit that I had dropped off at SCV Cleaners for an event on Friday morning. I showed up about five minutes before they closed (sorry to the gentleman who was there!) and asked him if there were any way I could get my suit by Friday morning. He said he would see what he could do, and he called the facility where they have the things cleaned and then told me to check tomorrow morning. I came in the minute they opened on Friday, on my way to work. Not only did they have my suit waiting for me, but the gentleman who was there told me I did not have to pay for it until I picked up the rest of my garments because he knew I was in a rush! I also think the prices are reasonable, and my clothes look great (I had them do a small repair on one of my coats, as well). You are the best, SCV Cleaners! Usually I only post good reviews for businesses, but this has been bugging me, so here we go. We usually take our dry cleaning to a place near our home in Canyon Country, but since I drop my daughter off at school, this place is on the way. I have been here a total of 6 times. There is an older woman with black hair & glasses that works behind the counter. She is the worst in customer service. On all of my visits, I said hello to greet her. She will not respond to save her life! The last visit, I said hello. She didn't answer, just looked down at the counter and never looks at my face. I finally said, "Uh, I said hello". She just ignored me with her usual sour looking face that never has any expression except for a frown. The balding man that looks like he is the owner is pleasant, but was there only one time. So, I just won't go here anymore. Why do I need to go into any business to see an old frown and never a hello etc.? Started a new job in the city of Valencia. Needed to find a dry cleaner. Read a Yelp review of SCV cleaners. The person who wrote the review gave them high praise, so I decided to check them out. I took three white dress shirts for a clean and press. I also needed to hem three dress pants. The employee by the name of Lily helped me, she was very helpful and courteous. She promised me next day service and they delivered. All the pieces came out as requested. The shirts were clean and pressed. The pants looked great, the stitching on the hem was excellent. Albert did a fantastic, professional job on my gown and completed the alterations very quickly. My dress looked absolutely perfect and I cannot thank him enough for doing such an exemplary job.
