Been coming here for years and this last visit they lost my vest to my suit. I having never had a problem took their word for all 8 of my pieces being in the bag once I get home to check vest is missing. Keep in mind they show I gave them all 8 pieces and I had 7 so clearly it was not in the bag. I call asking about it and they said it should be in there and I ask to keep a look out maybe it fell out or something. I call back a few days later and they send me some Ring camera footage of them saying it's all in there but never once do you see me look in the bags or them show me hey it's right here. Fine I call back a week later and they give me some attitude that they showed me they don't have it. Keep in mind I don't care about a refund nor did they offer a refund I made the mistake of not checking if it was in there I'm a trusting person. Yikes. So many "business people" just don''t get it. If you have a Dry Cleaning business, if you paint houses, if you do Landscaping in any competitive market your main job is serving the customer. Solving their problems - hopefully with a smile and some goodwill. Do that and customers will be loyal and will be glad to pay you. Customers like my wife and I will never grind you on price.If it's even close to the competition we will pay it and we'll even pay extra for special stuff. My wife is no longer doing business with ACE Cleaners. Why? She got a call from them to come in and pick up a soiled item that it would somehow ruin their equipment or damage something in their process. My wife has a laundry basket in the walk in closet. The cats likes to sleep on the laundry.I take it the cat threw up a hairball and vomited on some silk pants and by the time she brought it in to the cleaners it was a dry small stain -- nothing gross or wet or sticky. That was the issue that caused the grumpy folks at Ace to tell her come pick up her "toxic waste"...lol. So we went to a new Dry Cleaner - showed him the stain - explained what it was and he said "Fine no problem I'll let you know if we can't get the stain out but it looks easy". And he SMILED and was welcoming to my wife. So now he has a new customer for all our Dry Cleaning. All ACE had to do was say something like "We may have to charge you extra for that stain" and we would have - "fine, whatever". But instead they had to play hard ass "Grumpy Gus" and lecture and talk down to a customer. Jeez dude if you hate the Dry Cleaning biz so much maybe you should go into some business where you never have to deal with the public...!!! read more

The original owners are gone and it has not been the same. Excellent service with prior owners! I gave it a try with the new ownership and staff, but, I had clothes ruined. I was told it would be replaced. It was not replaced. Thus, I didn't return and I never looked back. I bring clothes to the dry cleaners to keep them in pristine condition not to be ruined. Well..... I guess it's not the same staff/owners anymore. I never had any issues before and was my go to place for all my dry cleaning services. I have to wear constant uniforms and suits so I'm a regular customer but unfortunately I called earlier today to ask their hours and pricing. I got a rude person over the phone that began raising her voice and hung up on me after I asked what time they closed today. There's plenty of other places around. First time ever going to a dry cleaners to clean some of the nicer apparel I own. I called ACE 10 minutes before closing to ask if I could bring a Jean jacket the next day. The person on the phone was very friendly, gave me rates, offered a discount for first time customer, and also ensured me that they'd have my items done within a couple of hours. I have been going to Ace Cleaners for more than 15 years, since high school. They do a wonderful job every time for reasonable prices. They have never lost any article of clothing. I have asked them to alter bridesmaid dresses, pants and other tops and they always get it done in less than a week. They have even done 1 day alterations for me. I get it! Mask is required everywhere BUT YOU CANNOT pick and choose Who should wear a mask and who should not. I walked in right after a man who was there without a mask and when it was my turn the lady in the front asked me to bring a mask or she wouldn't help me. I told her I'm just going to drop this off quickly and leave but she literally pretended like I didn't exist and she walked outside the store. I'm not sure what that was supposed to mean but honestly I will never return to this place again. If you're going to refuse my business for the one time I did not have a mask on and pick and choose like that I know someone else deserves my business. We have been using Ace cleaners for well over 30 years. Even when we moved to Saugus and there were closer cleaners, we stayed with Ace.

Decided to get some suits dry cleaned here after a recommendation from a coworker. They charge $14.75 for a 2 piece suit. For that, I expect the suit to be cleaned. It wasn't. Sure it was pressed but when I looked inside the waist, it was still had the same stain marks. For all the suits. When I pointed it out to the lady, she said, "can't clean." What? I just moved here and I wanted to make ACE my go to cleaners. I met Joseph who was very nice, but his staff was less than professional an I had a very unpleasant experience overall. Ultimately, they lost 4 of my shirts and damaged one of them. It was just for a simple press. I called and calmly told them I was missing shirts and hoping this was a simple misunderstanding. The older Asian female told me I was wrong. I was blown away by that comment. I told her I was aware of the shirts I was missing....and I'm not making it up. Due to a language barrier I figured it would be easier just do drive down and sort it out despite being told to come back tomorrow. Magically, when I arrive she found the shirts. One of which was damaged. In most cases, there would be a simple apology (and I would have happily forgiven everything!)....but not here. She continued to not take responsibility for the mishap and pointed the finger at me. When I brought up the damaged shirt, she said it must have already been like that which was not the case(it now had burn marks on it). I still paid my bill when most places probably would have not charged for the mistake. Ultimately I paid around $50 to have them lose 4 of my shirts and destroy one. I will not be back. Hopefully this is a rare occurrence for them UPDATE: Business stepped up. Joseph wanted to make things right. I was hesitant to give them another try. Even the business owners Bruce and Anna reached out to me the day of and wanted to apologize over the phone. I took the time to call them back. Joseph is very nice and I've never had a problem with their work. They send you a text when your order is ready, which is helpful -- my old dry cleaner wasn't nearly that technologically savvy. The only downside for me is that you have to bring cash if you're spending less than $15.00, which l often am. I understand it from their perspective; as I rarely carry cash though, it's a little inconvenient to always need to stop somewhere else first and withdraw money before I can come here. I love this little mom and pop cleaners. They are always so friendly and they really do go above and beyond to get stains out (that most cleaners would not be able to do). This is my go-to cleaners. The owners will even work with with you if you need something done within a day. They work hard and you can tell they care about their customers. My clothes always come out pressed and super clean. I had this pair of leggings I got for Christmas that were about five inches too long on me. I called before hand and the owner answered and was super nice and told me to come in and she would hem my leggings for fifteen dollars. I came in and she was so nice and provided such a comforting environment. My leggings were ready in just a few days and she did an AMAZING job. Love so much, such good prices for such amazing work.
