What went well?....EVERYTHING!!! lol I had suit jackets, pants, vests and shirts....kind of a big pile....$70.00 and done a day earlier than I had expected!! That's a good deal... Service was great...a very nice lady helped me . I was in and out in about 8 minutes but the best part was most of that time was us talking about different places in the world, where we originally came from and how different things are now....very enjoyable experience. Quality was great, clothes looked and smelled brand new, everything was done early, and a nice conversation too!!.....I would highly recommend Darling Cleaners. I just saw the owners response. 9 months later. But I cant let this go unnoticed. I've never agreed on the saying "the customer is always right" but why are we going to blaming the customer for the mistake? I came here the week of my event. I had barely found a dress to wear. Complete Disaster at Darling Cleaners 1 Star - Absolutely Avoid! I dropped off three items--a silk blouse, a wool suit jacket, and a simple cotton dress--at darling Cleaners expecting professional service, and what I got was an absolute nightmare. The Problems: * Ruined Blouse: My $200 silk blouse, which had a minor smudge, came back with a massive, visible water stain right on the front. It looks completely irreparable now. How do you ruin silk at a dry cleaner? * Missing Button: The button on the sleeve of my suit jacket is gone. No note, no explanation, just a dangling thread where it used to be. It was a custom button, so replacing it is going to be a huge hassle and expense. * Shrunken Dress: The simple cotton dress, which I only asked to be pressed, came back noticeably smaller and tighter. It seems they either washed it incorrectly or used way too much heat. It's unwearable. The Customer Service: When I pointed out the damage, the person behind the counter was instantly defensive and borderline rude. They claimed the stain on the silk was "pre-existing damage" (it was not) and offered a paltry $5 "discount" for the missing button, refusing to acknowledge the jacket or the dress. There was no apology, no attempt to fix the issues, and zero accountability. Final Verdict: I have now lost three items of clothing and wasted my money. This is, hands down, the worst dry cleaning experience I have ever had. If you value your clothes, take them anywhere but darling Cleaners. You have been warned! read more

Went in to have two straps fixed on my shirts just the straps and was charged $40. Then I wore it and the whole thing fell apart on one of the shoulders. I recommend you not to use them they're too expensive I had a pair of pants shortenedand they charged me $30 I should've known better after that. However, the owner was so kind and accommodating and said she would try. To my absolute delight, they were able to remove all the stains and still keep the stiffness in the blinds. If you're looking for a place to tailor UNIFORMS, DO NOT GO HERE. The tailor ruined a pair of uniform pants. I asked for them to be more fitted and she ADDED fabric. Then I told her to remove it. When I cam back she had them barely stitched back together. And told me to come back. I came back again and they weren't ready yet (2 weeks later) After over a month I come back to pick up my pants and she charged me for the work she did. Which is crazy because she didn't fix the original problem. She added fabric and then removed it. She said I was happy with them which I made very clear I was NOT after the first fitting. After 4 trips there and over month of waiting for my work pants to be finished, she over charged me. I was willing to pay for the cleaning of them but not the alterations that she didn't even do. I think if you make a mistake on $200 work pants, you shouldn't charge for the work. I'm not only upset that my pants look worse than they did when I brought them in but she has the audacity to charge me for them. I have to purchase new work pants and I will NEVER go to her again for alterations. Don't go here... Unless you want to pay for unprofessional work and a waste of time. I have used this place before this situation and it wasn't this bad. If she wasn't so unprofessional and actually made it right, I wouldn't be leaving 1 star. GO ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR UNIFORMS. I have used most of the dry cleaners on the east side of the Santa Clarita Valley, and Darling does a wonderful job and is reasonably priced. There are some cleaners that may be a bit less expensive, but when it comes to this type of service you get what you pay for. The quality of the cleaning service is unparalleled when compared to the other providers on this side of the valley. Also, it is becoming more difficult to find reasonable tailoring these days. So, where do I start? I don't use dry cleaning often, but when I do, I normally have a good experience at most places this, however, this was the exception. I needed some items of clothing cleaned for a funeral service and thought I would try Darling cleaners because they had pretty good reviews. I dropped off my items on a Tuesday and met Seda who seemed like a very nice and kind lady at that time. I explained to her that I needed the clothes by the coming Friday. She assured me it was not an issue. I arrive to pick up my clothes on that Friday at which point I was told they were not ready... Thats strike 1!!. Anyway, things happen and I'm a reasonable guy, so I didn't make a big deal about it. I was told that she would definitely have it ready the next day (Saturday).I arrive the next day to pick up my clothes to find the business closed! Strike 2!! So now I don't have my clothes that I need for the funeral service and have no choice but to leave town without them. thank God I had a spare suit to use but it was dirty. When I returned to pick up the clothes, I asked Seda what happened? I was told that they had to close on the day I came to pick up my clothes due to the weather and road closures. As I said, I'm a reasonable guy and the weather was bad that day, so I excused that but what really made me mad was there was no apology or compensation offered at all!! Nothing! I thought for sure she would have offered something at least an apology, but nothing! That was strike 3. Then to add insult to injury, I get home and check the clothes and three of the five items I had cleaned did not look or smell like they've been cleaned. I mean horrible job guys!!! one of my sports coats still has sweat marks under the arms and smells stinky. I mean, this is the worst dry cleaning service I've ever received!!! and I paid $58 to have all this shit cleaned. I will never use this cleaners again! I mean it's almost comical lol I can't believe this experience it just kept getting worse. And the fact that she didn't offer any sympathy or compensation just was the nail on the head I don't recommend them and I'm a fair person.
