Wow. One star is too much. Scheduled a prepaid appointment. Some very angry mean guy who was obviously the owner, Don, but pretended he was not, got out of his standard car, no detailing equipment with him at all, and immediately said: "Your cars are DIRTY!" "Your mats are DIRTY!" "You obviously have KIDS!" "Your cars are old and not maintained!" "Your out of our service AREA!" said Mr. Mean-Angry-Guy who pretends he isn't the owner Told us to ask for a refund through the business phone number which goes directly to him! Which we pointed out. Diamond did great work on my 6 month old car. My little boy did double what little kids are very skilled at doing... he completely trashed the back seat, underneath the back seat and everything around it. The latest offence was to spill 8oz of milk into the back carpet and I started searching for a detail right away. Based on reviews, I gave Diamond a call. I needed my 2001 Camry detailed after moving a lot of construction equipment and the car felt completely destroyed inside with soil dust, etc. DMD was able to set an appointment two days out. They were right on time, texted me when they were 20 minutes out and were very professional. I recently bought a used car and wanted to have it restored to like-new condition. I was able to schedule an appointment with Diamond Mobile for the weekend with four days advance notice. They were very communicative and courteous throughout the whole process and let me know when they would arrive and the technician texted me when he was leaving with the approximate time it would take to get to my place (much appreciated). He arrived when he said he would and I asked him a few questions prior to starting, which he was happy to answer as well as provide tips for caring for the exterior. By the time he was finished from when he started, both technicians worked for well over an hour on the car. I feel that the labor they performed was significant. They shampooed the floor mats, used clay bar, applied a clear coat of sealant to protect the paint, and cleaned up the interior. In addition to the detail, I also asked him to remove the "CarMax" vinyl sticker that CarMax affixes to all of the cars they sell, where I had bought the car. Edit: At first I couldn't see anything where the sticker had been and was happy with the work. When I looked a second time in different lighting I could clearly see the outline, and to my surprise, new swirl marks on the paint right over where the letters had been. Fortunately, when I washed my car the next time, I was able to remove it completely myself, along with the additional swirl marks. I used Meguir's ScratchX 2.0 and a foam applicator (by hand), and it was surprisingly easy. Makes me wonder if DMD is really using the right products, since I was able to take care of it myself so easily. Another complaint, though relatively minor in comparison, was that the interior smelled heavily of chemicals for a long time after the detail. Part of it was from the shampoo on the floor mats, but I also continued to notice some sticky residue on my wheel. Both the smell and the reside took about 10 days to completely go away, and that was with me airing out the car and wiping the wheel. I would rate four or five stars if they used more effective products with less residue. The work they did was significant and very labor intensive and at a very reasonable price. read more

This is my 2nd time using DMD; the customer service is great and they really take their time and make sure every aspect of the car is detailed. The interior smells and looks great and you can feel and see the difference on the exterior. Let me tell you about these guys.....so last week I made an appointment with a different auto detailer....on the day of the appointment I didn't hear from them, they didn't show up didn't call or anything and I was super disappointed and I really wanted and needed to get my car detailed! I scoured the internet looking for mobile detailers that were open on the Sunday before Memorial day and came across these guys. They were the only ones that answered my call and they told me they could get to me in the next 15 minutes.....right on time, they came and made my car shine like new!! STAY AWAY! Purchased a groupon and called for an appointment which was conveniently made within two days of my call. My appointment was set for 11am and the detailer text me at 8:30am saying he was running ahead of schedule and asked if he could come at 9:30am instead. I said no problem and mentioned that I had a groupon. Suddenly that changed everything. He cancelled my appointment and said his next available appointment wouldn't be for another TWO WEEKS which just so happens to be after the groupon expires. This company is clearly trying to rip off people. He obviously had the time available but I guess I wasn't a desirable customer seeing as I used groupon. read more

Don and his crew were really amazing. I bought a used car and it smelled of cigarette smoke, so I needed detailing quickly. I called Don on a Saturday and he was at my work by 930 monday morning. They did a complete detail inside and out. Don and his crew did an amazing job my car looked like new. After the detail I no longer smelled the smoke in my car, but my boss who has a highly developed sense of smell felt she could still smell it a little bit. I am a nanny so it is so important for the parents of the baby I watch to feel comfortable and safe when I drive the baby around. So I called Don back and asked what he could do. He promised to return and did so on Friday that same week. He again cleaned my car, air vents, and the filters under the hood. He came out free of charge and even after me insisting on giving him something he politely declined. He was so professional and courteous every time I spoke with him on the phone and in person.
