Tl;DR: Sterling is a great and honest electrician. He helped save me thousands of dollar by giving me his assessment of my project. I had an issue where several outlets stopped working. I contacted an electrician through yelp and he came by ran some tests and told me I had to run new wires through my house and said the wires were getting hotter than normal. The project would cost 4k and that didn't include repair to my drywall. I sat with that quote for a few days and contacted SD Electric. When Sterling came he was professional and communicated well through the yelp app. He ran some tests and determined that the breaker was bad. I asked Sterling if he saw any unusual wear and tear and he said no. Ultimately Sterling saved me a ton of money, he replaced the breaker and fixed the temporary fixes the other electrician did. Seems like he is genuinely well intentioned to be flexible with scheduling, and apologetic for late replies and late responses, but poor follow through was main reason we decided to work with someone else. Did not show up at the agreed upon time (which had actually been rescheduled to later in the day per his request, and rescheduled from the day prior due to an injury, which had actually been rescheduled from a few days prior because it was getting to be too late at night for a visit). Glad I did not need to take time off work since there was no notification of not being able to make it, so essentially felt like an entire day was wasted.
