After doing some research it was either a new screen or the motherboard Thank sweet baby Jesus the screen was the issue and it could be repaired vs buying a new one (which can be a pain honestly). Matt was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable! I need a screen protector and a new phone case... He doesn't have them in stock because my phone is 2024. But he said it wouldn't be a problem to order it and I can come back. Repeat customers are given a discount on their future purchases which is great! I texted to inquire about the price and turn around on a phone repair. The guy responded and I asked about coming in at a certain time and if it was busy. He said to text first. Next thing I know he's texting he thought I was coming which I never said I was nor did I text him saying I was. I texted back that I couldn't make it. He then texted again he was open the next day and when I didn't respond he texted "waste of time" like I owed him to use his service because I asked questions. He made it a waste of my time with his comment. I was considering using him but now I'll never use him. What is the purpose of being so rude to a potential customer? It was just really not necessary. Came today to fix a screen and charge port on an iPhone 12 Pro Max, a notoriously difficult phone to fix [thanks, Apple for making that harder for us ;-)] Anyway, they had both done in about an hour (on a Sunday no less), for about 200 less than the Apple Store wanted. And guess what? Apple doesn't do repairs in store anyway anymore. They just act as a shipping depot and don't even promise your data will be on the phone when you get it back. I mean, really, unless you are under some kind of warranty and are getting the repair for free, just come here and skip Apple. Super friendly staff as well. I think the phone is broken or something cause I called a few times and these guys didn't answer, I don't if any ownership was changed but it should be. I talked to my friend about this and she said she got her phone repaired from here and that a few months after her screen just stopped working, she took it to Apple later and they said that these third party screen repair parts don't correspond with Apple products and that's why the screen wasn't working. I'm very happy I didn't waste my money because a few months later I would have just had to get another repair. I'm just planning on saving up extra money to get my screen repaired at Apple. I wouldn't trust these guys paid for a screen it was defective. They put back on my old screen still cracked said they would refund my money. It's now been more than a week they still haven't refunded. They promised to come by and put another screen on three days went by they didn't do that didn't return calls.
