10 out of 10 sooo much fun! I honestly thought it sounded interesting but not a ton of fun but wow was I wrong! I thought we would just be throwing them at a plain target cork board but no!!! They have several game boards that illuminate the cork board from tic tac to killing zombies or playing cards or regular targets. The host Vance was literally amazing!! He was very pleasant, outgoing and gave us tons of cool axes in addition to the traditional ones as we played. I liked that they also had a knife which I excelled at if I do say so myself . Came here a couple weekends ago with some friends and it was all of our first time axe throwing. Sea Axe set the bars high. We had so much fun with all the different games you could play. My aim was all over the place so I liked having the different kinds of targets to hit and still score decently. The attendant monitored our first few throws and gave us great tips (and different sized axes) to improve our axe rotation to get it to stick. Aside from the actual axe throwing, their side games (giant jenga, cornhole, etc.) and photo wall were a lot of fun while we waited for our lane to become available. The check-in process was a breeze--we signed our waivers online before showing up. And they let us bring in outside food. Plenty of parking outside. My friends and I are hooked. We will be back, especially knowing we don't have to drive all the way to the city to throw axes. read more

WHAT THEY DO WELL Upon entry into the facility, we were greeted by friendly staff members, checked in, and asked if we wanted to purchase any beverages. Right at our start time, we were taken to our lane and given some safety instructions and a quick HOW-TO on both axe throwing and the use of the computer interface used to select games and score. The staff were very friendly and the facility is relatively clean. ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT The 10 or so games available did not have any instructions or rules, so it left us on our own to figure it out, or wait for staff and ask. Staff members were available, friendly, and willing to help which was nice. The website is very poorly executed. There is a lack of navigation controls, and I was not able to reserve a lane without calling since I was using a previously purchased coupon code. Pricing is a complete absurd. $30 per person per hour, even though you are only using one lane. If I were to go back with 4 people, I would reserve 4 lanes which would cost the same as a single lane. (Then I'd only use one of them ;) Aside from axe throwing, the place has little to offer. There is no food available, although they will let you bring in your own. It feels like you're in someone's garage where they built a few cages and tossed in a couple of old school arcade games. For being located in the armpit of Auburn, they are charging Downtown Bellevue prices. CONCLUSION Overall, the experience was fun. Due to the lack of food or a bar, and the ridiculous pricing schedule, I doubt I will do it again. For that kind of money, TOP GOLF, Blacklight Bowling, and Roller Skating have much more to offer. If it were $30 per lane per hour instead of $30 per person, I would have given SEA AXE 4 stars, but for price vs. value, 3 stars is really pushing it. UPDATE: (3/5/23) The owner responded below which I appreciate. I still disagree with the pricing model. This place does have some potential. I will check back in a few months to see what improvements have been made and will look forward to food and beverages. I'd love to see your dream leave the training wheel behind and step up to a legit venue worthy of $30/hour per person. read more

This was a great place for a date night with my wife. Would definitely recommend as a place to go to have some fun. It was our first time throwing axe's and so it took a little bit to adjust. Matt and Vance gave us great instructions/tutorials on how to properly throw the axe. The place has safety cages per rental and a door that you have to close when someone is getting ready to throw. Inviting place when we walked in. They also have drinks (beers and soda). They have many games you can play and each one has different difficulties for players of every level. We did one hour game and that was long enough for us. We will definitely be going back for other events with each other out with family. Try it out, you will love it. read more

My partner suggested axe throwing for his turn on picking our weekly night out. I was a bit skeptical since most of the places I've seen just have the traditional target and I wasn't sure that would be entertaining for more than a couple throws, but this place has so many different interactive games to choose from. The staff(I think maybe owners?) were super nice and helpful, giving us tips since we weren't great at the start. They explained how to use the computer part really well, and the whole place had a pleasant atmosphere. We really enjoyed our night at Sea Axe. This was our second time going for axe throwing so we knew what to expect. Initially we were little skeptical if the projection would make it cheesy but actually it made it for fun. I think our favorite was "21" which was more challenging.
