This was an excellent brewery and so glad I came upon it as it's not more than 10 min from my house. The beer selection was fantastic and wide range of options. I personally recommend trying the flight to get a little bit of everything. The food truck/trailer was awesome. You order with your beers and they cook it over in the food truck. Service was excellent and very quick. The ambiance was perfect for a nice sunny day. Both sitting inside and outside options available to us. We sat inside but it was an open door garage door setting so we could see the outside folks just fine. They have events there and can't wait to check it out. It was also nice to fill up my growler. Update: based on the owner review, there are zero inaccuracies. They solicited me. Did the push me? No. But the sign up petition was right by the place to pay. Passive or aggressive, this establishment is actively soliciting support for their political agenda. I was genuinely excited to try this place. The remote property setting has real potential. Unfortunately, it fell short on almost every level. The biggest surprise was being solicited to sign a petition supporting federal immigration enforcement over Washington's sanctuary laws. Whatever your politics, pushing that agenda on customers in a restaurant is jarring and off-putting. It's also a little ironic given that the menu leans heavily on Mexican and Thai culinary traditions. To add to the disappointment : when I mentioned I was a Coug, the staff was outright rude about it which is especially strange given that the owners themselves are Cougs. Coug culture is known for being warm and welcoming to fellow WSU alumni, so this was a real bummer. Def not Coug friendly. On the food and drink: the IPA was overly floral and unbalanced, and the Thai-influenced dishes and Mexican offerings didn't deliver. Nothing was memorable enough to justify a return trip. The setting is unique, and I wanted to love it. But between the political soliciting, the rude staff, and the underwhelming execution, there are just better options for craft beer, Thai food, and Mexican food in the area. If I could give this place 10/5, I would. I don't drink, so I can't comment on the drinks, but the food was absolutely phenomenal, the atmosphere is killer, the games that they have are a ton of fun, and I love the chickens and other birds nearby! We stopped here on our way back from a hike after seeing the sign from hwy 18, and we were very pleasantly surprised! The beer was incredible, especially the pumpkin sour. We cannot believe we have lived this close and never visited. My husband and I both loved our meals; his the fish and chips and mine the bbq chicken dilla. We were both thoroughly impressed. This place was absolutely amazing, it doesn't matter what kind of beer person you are they have something for you. Myself I love Ambers and this was by far the best Amber I've ever had. If you're an IPA person which... I am definitely not LOL but even their IPA was really good. Great local brewery! I have the mango lager mixed with blackberry seltzer. They also offer really good food! Staff were very welcoming.

You head way out 18 to where Pacific Raceways is (you know, some of us still call it S.I.R.). and you're kinda out in the sticks. There are houses and warehouses scattered around here; people can buy multi-acre lots--some build houses that have a horse-stable/mansion feel, some build big shops, but most of them have projects in mind when they build out here. The folks who operate FHBC clearly had that kind of vibe going, and they've put a brewery and taproom into effect. There are big signs on the fence out at the road, and you head down a long gravel driveway and onto their property. Set back from the access road they have their house, their shop, a big tent with outdoor heaters, a port-a-potty, and plenty of parking. The parking can get puddle-y after a big rain, even with all the gravel laid down. There's seating for about 35 folks inside the tent, and a little brewery with a bank of tap handles in the shop building. They've clearly built up the operation a lot, but it still feels like a family affair. Mom was selling the beer yesterday, and most likely Dad is brewing it and helps sell sometimes. They had 6 beers pouring, all familiar American ales--IPA, stout, amber, and so on. Mom took her time pouring perfect pints, offered some complimentary pretzels, and answered every question about the beer. She's very cheerful and friendly and a great host. I was nervous about not having cash but it turns out they take credit cards. Nice! Peeking through the door, it looks like they have a 3-barrel system and plenty of equipment, all clean and organized. They're straddling the boundary between a giant homebrew operation and a fledgling small pro brewery, and clearly they're taking a very professional approach. Out in the tent, a few people who seemed like they were probably local were hanging out and having pints. There's a funky, cool mix of patio furniture, old indoor furniture, and maybe some old church pews under the heaters in the tent. It has that college party feel to it, in a good way. I wonder what it's like when it gets packed. We tried a fresh hop IPA, which is an unexpected find in March (maybe the hops were grown indoors...everybody else harvests fresh hops in October), and a light-bodied stout. Both had great flavors and aromas, but the yeast seemed a bit overworked, because there unfortunately were swimming-pool-toy flavors and smells in there too. With happier yeast, these beers would be good. Most likely the future batches will be good, once they correct that. Prices were good, and this was a fun place to visit. read more

This is located (essentially) in a residential neighborhood in their front yard. There is a nice gravel parking area. You walk up to the garage/order counter to order your beer and snacks. You then sit under the covered tent to eat and drink. They have portable space heaters which is nice. There is one unisex porta potty for restroom needs. It's clean and well stocked. There is a portable hand wash station as well. I give this five stars because it is a very comfortable and relaxed environment and the beer is excellent! We ordered the pretzels and beer cheese which is very good and reasonably priced. They have a TV so you can watch the game as well. They also sell nice shirts and growlers like the "bigger" breweries. Covid safety protocol are in place. We felt safe and the place is clean and well ventilated! We will be back! read more

Beer and food here on new year's day was our first experience dining out since COVID hit. We were fully prepared to cancel and go home if we felt at all unsafe. Instead, it was the greatest evening. Sophia, the person running everything, had great recommendations on the beers and why we would like them. She wore a mask whenever we approached her or she served us. The food (we had salmon gumbo) was hot and ready almost immediately. The propane heater kept us cozy under the tent (the tent is very large and has two walls, so enough to block the wind but not enough to be enclosed). When another couple showed up, they were seated a safe distance away. We want to go back ASAP. read more

I wanted to like this place. It's out in the middle of nowhere. The outdoor area is complete with both outdoor and board games. There wasn't another person in sight until about 15 minutes into our stay when what I presume to be was a neighbor showed up in true George Jones style, complete with lawnmower. Said neighbor chated up the owner/brewmaster about the 7 available beer selections before leaving with a promise to come back with his own growler. We were able to catch a peek at what I presume to be mom in her nighty/garden clothes and the wife/girlfriend. It had all the makings to be an epic hidden gem. Sadly the two of us that can drink beer could barley choke down one 7 beer sampler between the two of us and for the third person in our party there was no gluten free options. Maybe once they have had a chance to perfect their brews this place could be great but for now i would guess the yelp rating is mostly based on the reviews of the 4-5 family members. As we were leaving as promised the neighbor was crying back up on his lawn mower with his empty growler in hand. This place gets a 10 for natural charm but I can't over come the quality of the brews. read more

So I went to a restaurant on Ruston Point a week or two ago and discovered that they had Four Horsemen Brewing on tap. I was very excited and took advantage of getting what they had which was the Black Plague Porter which was unique and wonderful! Since then I did some poking around on the Four Horsemen website and discovered that they now have a set up similar to a taproom. Previously they had a calendar on their website and the best outlet to get their beer at the time was to go to farmers markets where they had a booth based on their schedule on that calendar. It looks like they still do the farmers markets but on Friday, Saturday and Sunday they are open in the evening to serve beer on their premises. It was very easy to find the place because they had lots of Christmas lights up that were noticeable and bright. It was a very cold evening when we went and there were not many customers there. The seating area is made up of large tents with propane heaters inside but maybe because it was so slow that night they were not turned on which made our beer drinking fast. The young lady that ran the beer taps was very nice and friendly and there were quite a few beer choices. About half of those beer options were IPA's. Other selections was a blonde, a brown and a pumpkin beer. I went with the brown which was very good! Like the Black Plague it had a very unique taste to it and had a slight edge over what you typically find out there for browns. Steve wanted an Amber but was suggested to try one of their IPA's since it was light on hops. I think he thought it was still too hoppy but I liked what he got as well. The Four Horsemen location will be perfect in the summer after coming off of hikes and other forestry excursions. I look forward to that! read more

Really good local IPA. The place isn't anything fancy (but they try) good for groups when you want to just have some beers and shoot the sh*t. Service was a little slow but it's growing pains. (I was there for their grand opening) I don't have a ton to compare it to in terms of local PNW IPAs but to me it's right up there. They had food too, mostly hot dogs on a gas grill, but I'm not sure if that was a grand opening thing or not. read more

We were in the area so decided to check this place out. In short, the atmosphere was great (very open and relaxing), the beer was good and the owner was extremely friendly. She took time to show my son around the farm animals (turkeys, roosters, chickens and chicks) and he had a great time (10 years old). They have a very large variety of beers. My husband thought the Son of a Pumpkin (a seasonal sour pumpkin beer) was one of his favorite pumpkin beers he's tried (a big complement). An overall great experience! read more
