* This review is about the ice cream only , the service was friendly and quick, and despite the name, it's not really an ice cream parlor since they serve coffee, smoothies, açai bowls, and more, which we have not tried* We were excited to try a new ice cream place, only to find out they serve store ice cream from Bluebell, with a scoop or two costing as much as a half gallon in the store. When I go out and pay for ice cream at a parlor, I expect them to sell me proper premium homemade stuff, not the same stuff I buy in the store. We will not be back. read more

Went in there a few days ago and the young man who took my order gave me a sigh and an eye roll when I asked for a brownie Sunday. Extremely rude. So I asked the lady at the register if there was a problem ordering that menu item. She asked why and then apologized when I explained. This is a great little ice cream and treats shop, right next to the other Noosa restaurant which is handy for grabbing a nice dinner then ice cream afterwards. The location is within easy walking distance of the beach and a lot of hotels or rentals. It was a cute little spot. Very vibrant but quiet atmosphere around 9:30pm. I only had one goal. It was to get their açaí bowls. A little sweet treat after dinner. I was browsing the ice cream flavors while waiting for my bowl. However, i saw one flavor that was almost gone. It was the banana pudding ice cream. Being a sucker for banana pudding, I just had to try it and I'm so happy that I did. I loved it more than the açaí bowl. A guilty pleasure that I don't regret. This is a must stop for me anytime I am in the area. I love their rotating flavor selection, with the gooey butter cake flavor being probably my favorite ice cream of all time. I like the surf vibe inside the shop and the couches are very comfortable. The line can get confusing, as there are two different registers and people tend not to follow the preferred pattern of traffic, but the ice cream is worth it. It can get pricey and I am not a fan of their milkshakes, but I give this place 4 stars based on the gooey butter cake flavor alone. read more

Keep in mind, there is a speaker right where they ask you for your order. It was hard to hear, as I thought they said, "what type of waffle cone." I asked what did you say? The girl chirped back, homemade or store made. I questioned her again, as to find out, they must offer two different type of waffle cones. She showed me two different types and said homemade. CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE TO THE CUSTOMER, which they are not disclosing up front even though it's supposedly the law according to the NC AG's office. We had already gotten one ice cream order that was being eaten when I went to pay and wait for the other one. I had to ask if they charged a fee to me. Luckily I had a little bit of cash. If I had known, I'd have gone to the grocery store instead. By the way, grocery stores have the lowest mark-up of most all other businesses. Next we'll be paying the electric bill for the restaurants. I wonder if they charge me for their bills, can I charge them for mine?
