This was the closest coffee shop we had during our stay at OBX and when I asked the girl working the cashier what she recommends and she told me the "Tomato Pie Latte" ??????? This stuff was the weirdest form of coffee I've ever had but it had to have been one of the most tasty. It's so interesting that describing it doesn't do it justice - just get it!!!

Great experience at Shore Coffee. Spacious, clean, bright, and so welcoming. The service was so kind fast. The drinks are delicious, the pastries were tasty!

Excellent coffee; however, I think the food was a little overpriced. I think this place would be best for a little coffee date with friends but if you really want to sit quiet and do some work, I would suggest a different spot because the round tables aren't really the easiest to work on and there weren't really that many power outlets. I do agree that the decor is very chic; however, it was just missing a few key details in my opinion. Service was standard but not over the top: smiles do go a long way.

Such a NEEDED solid coffee shop in the OBX. I am a bit of a coffee snob. Their coffee and espresso are on point, and they make a lot of in-house syrups. It's so cute inside and they also have great merch! Highly recommend.

Why go to Starbucks when you can go to a place like this! Their his tea options were fantastic and lots of very tasty coffee options as well plus some fantastic food! If you're staying at the Hilton Garden Inn around the corner I highly recommend going here for breakfast instead of staying in the hotel! You won't be disappointed!

Best coffee in OBX is here. Their syrups are the best and it makes a huge difference in how the coffee tastes. There was a huge line and I can see now. There's so much room to hang in there and the lightening is gorgeous. Best coffee I had all weekend

Went looking for local coffee shops nearby and found this place! It's a large place with plenty of places to sit, saw people working and others just hanging with friends. The people working here were very friendly. You can also see the roasting room through glass windows. They have some food, toasts and a frittata, pastries. The latte I had was yummy, smooth espresso and pretty foam. Hubby enjoyed his as well. While waiting I saw the menu and found some other lattes I would try. Check them out if you're at the northern beaches!

This place is incredible. Amazing coffee with homemade syrups! The line gets long in the morning but they're very quick and the staff are very friendly. Truly a one of a kind place!

10/10 5/5 whatever you wanna say it was awesome. Even with a long line they were efficient and quick as can be. Very sweet staff that were also patient and helpful. Menu was great with a good variety and my vanilla bourbon coffee tasted amazing. Lots of places to sit and very homey.

Absolutely incredible!!! As someone who can't have sugar sometimes coffee shops just are meh...NOT Shore coffee roasters! The coffee is amazing and their sugar free modifier exceptional! Thank you for making my day!!!

I've been following this place on Instagram waiting anxiously for them to open. This place took over the coastal provisions restaurant so there's plenty of ample seating. The decor and architecture is really hip and cool. They make their syrups homemade and they are unique and different compared to other coffee houses around the area. The menu is easy to read and they keep their options simple and to the point. The barista was very kind and explained his favorite syrups to my sister. My sisters ordered the brown butter iced lattes and my bf ordered a vanilla bourbon coffee. I ordered the strawberry iced latte with cold foam. They were absolutely delicious! Definitely the best coffee we've had in a while. The espresso is smooth and dark; the brown sugar salted caramel is the perfect amount of sweetness. The strawberry' syrup was sweet and subtle but not overly sweet. The vibes over all are super beachy yet chic and it would be a good place to study or hang with friends. We all loved our coffees and will definitely be back!!!

Very cute place! I got the banana milk latte and it wasn't as good as I hoped but this place is very cute for just hanging out and getting work done. My friend got the salted caramel iced latte and it was sooo good.

The best part of the sub was the roll, and it was just a standard sub roll. Luckily, the French fries were pretty good so I was able to eat part of my meal. Take it from someone who has worked in the food industry himself, you cannot just slap some meat, cheese, and onions on a roll and call it a cheese stake sub. The combination of ingredients only works if all them play their individual parts. The meat needs to have some char on it to bring out its flavor. The onions have to be caramelized so as to pop with sweetness whenever one is bitten into. The cheese needs accent the meat and onion, not mask it. There are supposed to be multiple layers in a submarine sandwich, not just one bland flavor. I would not recommend this place at all. You are better off going to Subway, at least it will not cost you almost twenty dollars for a flavorless sub.

It would have been a tad better with a bigger bun and more sauce options. Overall, I recommend this place for a quick meal.

It can transform an ordinary drink into something special. It makes the magic of coffee last throughout the entire day. I was immediately welcomed when I walked into the Outer Bean. Initially, I was bummed because cortados were not on the menu. I asked the barista if she would try to make one. She said sure. I gave her general directions and she walked to the espresso machine. A couple of minutes later she handed me a cup with two shots of espresso and a stainless steel pitcher with steamed milk. The barista said, "Why don't you add the milk in so you get it just the way you want." I thought this was a thoughtful gesture. I thanked her and made my cortado. We chatted a bit. It turned out she is Thai and my husband is Thai; and I love to talk about Thailand. I took a few pictures. We exchanged goodbyes and I exited the cafe with a genuine smile and a very positive impression of the Outer Bean. Smiles are free and they can elevate and/or improve any situation. Plus, folks always look better when they smile. I hope you make this world a better place by sharing your smile with someone today. Thank you to the barista at Outer Bean who shared her smile and made my day brighter. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

Our service was great. But the food, sub par. Soft drinks were "odd" for lack of better word. So I returned it for a beer cause, why not. Sweet tea was so sweet that we had to dilute it with water. We can handle that. The food would have been great, had they used ANY SEASONING at all. Everything tasted as tho the kitchen lost all S&P privileges. I had the prime rib w/ au jus. Meat was tender and onions cooked nicely. But it definitely didn't match the description which was something like "on a hoagie bun topped with garlic and butter." It was not. Which would have really helped carry the no seasoning deal. Au jus, had great potential, just no flavor. I ended up eating the meat alone and left the bread. Wife got the Reuben. Which was overall ok. Much more flavor than mine. But only bc of the sauerkraut. Oldest daughter got the BYO burger, with cheese and pickle. The burger was clearly a frozen patty from the store. As clearly defined by the shape of the patty. She ate half and the other half sits in the fridge as I type, from 2 nights ago. (I usually eat all the leftovers) I leave this review in hopes that the management and kitchen staff will start to properly season their food. Arts has great potential. But not without seasoning!
