Buffet - great variety of southern foods
    Michaela P.

Hidden gem off the beaten path. Came here for the all you can eat crab legs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The whole place was full of locals by the time we got there at 6 PM. Waited 30 minutes to get in, which was not bad at all. The inside is definitely small and intimate. The staff were the sweetest people we've encountered in any restaurant down here. So incredibly kind. Adorable southern style buffet with delicious country food. We met a few other local residents who come here weekly and have been coming here weekly for years. In addition to the crabs, they raved about the fried chicken, fried okra beans, and always a fresh salad bar. We all echo the fried chicken and fried okra were phenomenal. The star is being the crab were delicious. Seasoned with a tidy bit of Cajun seasoning which still allowed their sweet flavor to come through. Tasted fresh and not frozen (no idea if they were or not) but we could not get enough. And the price cannot be beat at only $36 pp. When our service notice we were depleting our plates, they quickly came by to ask if we needed more. No stinginess here. Highly recommend if you're looking for something less commercial and don't need all the other seafood. We were the only tourists here which we loved. If looking for crabs, this is the place to go.

Lived by this place, always busy. I decided to try it yesterday. The have a menu but mostly a buffet. I saw patrons eating crab legs and the waitress said they were on buffet. So, I got the buffet. 3 steam tables with a limited amount of actual seafood. Mostly fried chicken, sides, and desserts. NO CRAB LEGS! Asked another server who told me they cost extra. Ok, tried some fried and sauted seafood, everything was bland. Long story short, I got sick as a dog last night, woke me up around 3am and upchucked everything. So, 0 stars for $25 worth of bad food. And I never leave reviews.

I heard about this restaurant from someone who raved about it. I stopped in today and I was greeted when I walked in, I was given a menu to order my takeout meal. I decided to have the seafood platter which had flounder, shrimp, scallop, oyster, crab. Catfish, hush puppies, fries and deviled crab. I have never heard of devil crab before. Just saying. This was a lot of food and I must tell you it looked and smells so good. They had forgotten to put the devil crab on and so the waitress followed me out of the door as I was getting into my car and she waved me down to get give it to me. The food was delicious. However, I could have done without the devil crab that was not my taste. They also have a buffet. That's what I will be having the next time I go in (and I will be going back.) it is definitely worth it.

Cozy clean and well worth the visit. This is become our food date place. Highly recommend

All you can eat crab leaves for $35!

We returned for our annual Myrtle Beach vacation and had to come to Sea Man's again! Arrived on Wed night right at 5:00 and got a seat. 15 min later there was a line forming. The all you can eat crab legs were delicious- served hot! Had to order a side of hush puppies and my husband said they looked like they were on steroids - huge and so tasty! Cookie was our server and couldn't have been more pleasant. We will be back next year when we come to Myrtle Beach!

Sea Man's is one of those hidden secrets that is tucked away on the side of the road just waiting to be found; and once you are inside, a buffet of seafood and comfort food awaits. They offer a buffet for $14.99 that includes a salad/dessert bar and 2 hot bars. They also offer all you can eat crab legs with the buffet for $47.99. We opted to go with the all you can eat crab legs and we were not disappointed. We tried a little bit of different dishes from the hot bar and there were no disappointments. If you aren't in the mood for a buffet, they do have a menu with different seafood options, burgers and kids meals. We were there mid-week and in the evening and service was a little lackluster. it was not busy at all and our server never came by our table even though he was out on the floor. For the all you can eat buffet option with the crabs, it is priced inline with some of the bigger buffets in the area but felt that for the size of the buffet they have, it was a little overpriced. We will definitely go back there and either do the regular buffet or order from the menu.

Spots sandwich & chicken wings with onion rings.

Debbie is always our server and of course she remembers us and she is the kindest and the best thing since sliced avocado! She is always offering suggestions and we usually take them and are never disappointed! Today I got my usual veggie omelette but this time I decided to keep all of the fresh veggies as she suggested and boy was she correct! There were mushrooms, lots of spinach lots of peppers and onions and cheeses... All of the flavors made a beautiful melody in my mouth! I also got a side of avocado, which is always delicious and a side of fresh fruit. The fruit is not only beautiful to look at as there are melons, strawberries, grapes, blueberries and pineapple that are always very fresh and tasty! My fruit cup reminded me of a colorful rainbow after a refreshing downpour. The meal came with a slice of lightly buttered whole wheat toast, which was toasted just right. I also ordered an iced coffee, which was not only refreshing but very delicious! I didn't get any cream or sugar in it as I like to taste all of the notes of arabica coffee. As usual that's a wrap was packed full of Local patrons who were obvious retirees enjoying every minute of their retirement and coming to a wonderful brunch spot. We also got double chocolate and blueberry muffins to go. There was a wonderful sounding and yummy looking cranberry pecan loaf so we got one of those too! Thank you so much. That's a wrap and Debbie for serving us today!

One thing I didn't like is I…read morehad to go to the bathroom and while I was in the bathroom I could hear like I was actually sitting in the kitchen and whoever was over there was very loud and every other word out of their mouth was the F word it was a little unsettling since my young grand daughter went in before me. Our waitress was a older lady super nice in the beginning she actually sat beside us and told us what her favorite dishes were and we told her we needed a minute and she left, my daughter-in-law literally came out of the bathroom and she came over the table and said are you ready yet? I said no we still need a minute. She just got out of the bathroom. When we ordered my son and I ordered the same sandwich, my son asked her can we do an up charge and get the disco fries instead of plain fries? She said yes you can do that. I said I'd like to do that too and she said OK. when our food was brought out my son and I had plain fries when she came back a few minutes later we said these were supposed to be disco fries and she said very rudely well you didn't ask for them like that, my son and I said yes we did and she said you asked me? and we said yes and you wrote it down and she walked away a few minutes later, we get two plates of disco fries, which were delicious. she didn't come back to the table to ever check on us after that and to be honest, I was kind of afraid to ask for anything else. I got the chicken Parmesan sandwich and it was a little dry. I would've liked some extra sauce. We didn't get a bill. We used the little table top thing to pay and when the receipt printed I was like oh my gosh I got charged $20 for two orders of french fries. So my husband asked a younger girl what the cost was for an up charge to disco fries and she said we don't do that and he said oh that would've been nice to know. The funny thing is while we were sitting there the Table next to us ordered got their food and they all three said we're supposed to have the disco fries too. How did the waitress mess up on that. I wasn't happy about having to pay $20 for french fries that just had gravy and cheese. I would not have ordered that them and certainly not two orders. She should've said if you wanted it as appetizer I'll get you the appetizer but no, you can't up charge to disco fries and she didn't have to be so rude.

I came here to order some sandwiches for lunch. The sandwiches were really good (I had the Leone…read moresandwich, which I'd recommend). However, service was REALLY slow.. we waited about 30 minutes for 4 sandwiches, and this was after the lunch rush (ordered around 1 pm, left at 1:30-1:40th). I'd go back during off-hours or maybe order online if you can, but there wasn't a strong sense of urgency. I also felt like the folks working at the front counter would were not the friendliest.
