I usually order from this restaurant with best of service and food. Today, I ordered a takeout Flounder Platter and the food was cool. The Flounder Platter is usually fresh cooked but not today. I read reviews about this place and decided to give it a try. We were a group of 4 on a Wednesday night and we all ordered the all-you-can-eat crab legs for $35.99. The crab legs were delivered fresh and hot to our table. They sprinkle them with a little Old Bay seasoning (which, being from Maryland) , I loved! To our surprise, the buffet was also included. The buffet is small but everything I sampled was very good (fried fish, popcorn shrimp, onion rings, fried thinly cut squash, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, and banana pudding). The buffet alone is $14.95. Our server, Cookie, was friendly and provided great service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone living or visiting the Myrtle Beach area! Sea Man's Seafood is a small roadside restaurant that absolutely lives up to its Yelp reviews. The atmosphere is very casual and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We had lunch there on a Saturday and had the option of ordering from their menu or eating from the buffet. I chose the buffet and was not disappointed. They had a large selection of meats, sides, and a salad bar as well as a couple of desserts. I tried their fried chicken, ribs, popcorn shrimp, and catfish. All the fried items were fresh and crispy and the ribs were yummy too. They had several options for sides and I opted for their baked macncheese, which was delicious. The restaurant and restrooms were clean and paying was quick and easy. We were in and out on our own schedule, neither rushed nor held up by any part of our experience. The only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is because the restaurant was extremely hot and we did not get refills on our tea and items like shrimp and flounder did not get refilled on the line at all while we were there. Sorry but this place sucks. We went in early fall around 6 PM, the food picked over on the buffet and they were in no hurry to put fresh food out. I did get one small piece of soggy fish and a few cold shrimp. Salad wasn't refreshed while we were there, brown lettuce and looked wilted. We spent just North of $52 and I have had better food at a much more reasonable price, you won't catch us in there again, beware of this place. McDonalds would have been a much better choice. read more

We visited Seaman's while on our last vacation. It is now a must every time we go to the beach. On Tuesday's and Thursday's they have all you can eat crab legs on the buffet. Our waitress brought me six clusters of crab legs as my first portion, and I'm just about willing to bet it was close to two and a half pounds of crab legs. They're honestly the best I've ever had. The regular buffet was really tasty as well. Their banana pudding is delicious, as well as their peach cobbler. Their fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and foods like that really hit home as comfort food. I highly recommend to anyone. We will be back. read more

I had never tried this place because Dales and Adams wasn't too far away. Last night I just didn't feel like passing by this place to wait for Dales Seafood. I'm glad I stopped. I've got a new go-to Seafood joint. If you like southern calabash style seafood, That's what it is and it's good. Plates were overflowing and just right. This place is by far my favorite restaurant to have lunch or dinner. The food is seasoned to perfection and definitely represents good southern cuisine. The all you can eat crab legs on Tuesdays and Thursday are on point, they are freshly made and lightly seasoned to order.
