Ahi Tuna Nachos
Rachel S.

Just came back here for the fresh hogfish sandwich but they don't have it anymore We had a fried cod sandwich that was excellent, the fresh tuna app, tater tots and the empanadas. Everything was delicious and fresh. I just wish they still had the hogfish sandwich-not only gorgeous but absolutely mouthwatering.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a fun place![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We stopped in on a Friday night with 8 of us and were able to grab a table and enjoy the live music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We all ordered food and beers and drinks and enjoyed our time! I ordered the gyro and it hit the spot. Everyone seemed to love their food too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fun, chill atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would return!

Decent place. The nachos were outstanding, and put together very nicely, to boot. Server was friendly and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bathroom was clean, but I did use the men's (the Ladies' was taken for quite a long time ).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you sit on the outside rail, you can admire the fancy boats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Prices are what you'd expect for touristy area.

Enjoying some drinks on the patio.

I usually visit Naples once or twice a year. I have stopped by this place many times when it had a different name. I was traveling with my husband and my friends in October and we decided to stop by for some late night drinks because it's walking distance from our resort. They have a full liquor bar and lots of beer choices (food too). [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a pretty small place inside, but there is patio seating all around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a laid back Florida vibe with colorful stools and a good mix of locals and tourists.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great service and reasonable prices; plus they have a digital "jukebox" where you can play any music you like for a small fee. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a great place to spend a lazy afternoon or a late night hanging with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We walked into the tavern and we just knew it was going to be a great time. Immediately we saw customers singing and the servers dancing. Music was blasting and people were smiling living their best life and we as a family were all about that! My server is super kind and told us that this place specializes more on rum drinks and the owner takes pride in his ingredients. My niece has the kids smash burger & I had a adult burger with all the fixings (so good) & fries that I barely ate. My brother had the Kobe Beef Tacos & personally the toppings were basic and ruined the flavor of the tacos. Lettuce, shredded cheese and tomatos. If I could make a suggestion, pickeled onions or the slaw they use on the Vietnamese Pork Belly tacos would've been a smash hit. My brother had the Pork Belly Taco and he loved it. My sister in law had tacos and she said they were good (don't know which). HANDS DOWN their Margarita on the rocks was the best drink ever. I had 4 of them... sooo good!! Thank you! I had the best time last night with my family. We also saw Ralph Curtis perform and his own song "Good Bad Decisions" and it's definitely a fav. His song will be dropping on Spotify so check him out. Thank You to everyone at Seamonkey we had the best experience in Naples FL.

A Hidden Gem in Downtown Naples -- Don't Sleep on This Place!…read more I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was buzzing -- the outside patio was at full capacity. I asked for a seat at the bar, and even though space is very limited, the staff went above and beyond to find me one. That kind of effort on a packed afternoon says a lot about this team. The bartender was phenomenal -- attentive, warm, and somehow managed to make every single person at that busy bar feel like they were the only guest in the restaurant. The whole staff carried that same energy. They were also wonderfully descriptive about the daily specials and menu offerings, which made ordering a pleasure rather than a guessing game. I decided to try the crab cake, and I'm so glad I did. I grew up on the East Coast eating crab, and I've had my fair share -- I've long held that Phillips in Maryland made the gold standard. I am happy to report that Captain & Crew has dethroned them in my book. This crab cake was pure lump crab meat, not overpowered by fillers or seasoning. You could actually taste the crab. The accompaniments they served alongside it elevated the whole dish even further. Thoroughly impressed. The wine pairings were equally well-curated. I took the staff's recommendations and they absolutely nailed it. A heads-up for first-timers: parking is the one small challenge. There's no convenient lot right there, so you may need to use a parking garage and walk over. Honestly? Embrace it. If you're already in Downtown Naples, it's a beautiful stroll that perfectly sets the mood before you arrive. Captain & Crew is a true hidden gem. Many people come for the fresh seafood market, but don't overlook the restaurant side -- it's absolutely worth your time. Highly recommend.

After sitting down, we started reviewing the menu and saw so many interesting items that it was difficult to choose. Fortunately, our server noticed we were struggling and she offered to help navigate us through our meal. Our goal was to sample a variety of options, but not to over order. And we accomplished just that! We started with some Stone Crabs, then some Peel & Eat Shrimp, then my wife and I shared an entree of Blackened Grouper with sides of fries and coleslaw, where we also added a few scallops. Delicious! We thought we were done, but our server informed us of the excellent Key Lime pie. We had room to share one slice, and we are so happy we did! It was excellent. A great balance of tartness and sweetness. We look forward to returning!

The grouper "balls" were deep fried (not oily) and hot and crunchy with pineapple slaw, candied sesame pecans, steamed rice and creamy-mango sauce (can't wait to go back for lunch and order this dish again). My hubby ordered Nemo's Snapper Fish Tacos (2) priced at $18.95 and served with Caribbean rice, warm tortilla (Wheat or Corn) green cabbage, lime, queso fresco cheese, pickled onion condiments selection and creamy apple salad. I ordered their so-called specialty: the Nemo's Ultimate Miso Sea Bass--advertised as a "legendary signature dish served with a citrus-ginger butter sauce and asparagus." It arrived at my table practically frozen. After sending it back, I ordered the ginger steamed snapper, which was completely flavorless and tasted like cardboard. The only saving grace of the entire night was the service and the wine (a Txomin from the Basque Country). Save your time and money. Do not eat here.

From the moment we walked in, the hostesses and manager made us feel welcome and had us seated right away. Our server, Angel, was fantastic. He walked us through the menu, explained how many of the dishes were prepared, and made thoughtful recommendations without ever feeling pushy. We started with the octopus and fresh focaccia with honey. The octopus was exceptional--easily one of the best I've had and on par with dishes I've enjoyed at Michelin-starred and James Beard-recognized restaurants. We also shared the beet and goat cheese salad, followed by the local snapper and the ribeye cap topped with lobster claw and tail in chimichurri. Every dish was beautifully prepared and showcased the quality of the ingredients. The cocktails were well balanced (not overloaded with ice), and the Thyme on Thyme is an easy recommendation if you're looking for something light and refreshing. The wine list paired nicely with the meal as well. Watching the sunset over the water while listening to music drifting across the park made the evening even more memorable. We also noticed another customer dining indoors with a dog. It wasn't disruptive, just a little unexpected. Definitely not for those with claustrophobia!! We were initially told they don't take reservations, yet several parties arrived claiming they had reservations. Meanwhile, regulars appeared to receive preferential treatment and were seated ahead of others. As for the food, the fried calamari, shrimp, scallops, and smelt were the highlights. All crispy, fresh, and very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the marinara sauce tasted watered down, and while both pasta dishes were cooked perfectly al dente, they lacked seasoning and flavor overall.
