Corner table, with view of the whole dining room

For sometime now the Grill has been one of our favorite in Naples area and our first choice for dinner when staying at the Ritz Carlton Naples. Service was alway excellent and very attentive, food was very good but definitely not cheap. Because of the price, I do have certain expectations, and on this visit, it fell slightly short. We arrived at 6:30pm our reservation time, and were promptly taken to our table. The hostess first offered a table right at the door, I rejected, the restaurant was still fairly empty. Then we were led to another table right next to a big table of 15+ people. Before I said anything, she quickly suggested maybe a quieter table, thank you for that. We ended up with a table on the other corner, it was perfect. As usual, hubby ordered a martini, it came with a lot of ice chip, oops didn't past our first test. We ordered the seared Foie Gras and Kumato Tomato and Watermelon salad. The Foie Gras was done perfectly. The watermelon in the salad was cured, not my type of salad. For our entree I had the short rib, very tender but very dense and lean, hubby had the Delmonico steak with Foie Gras added. The steak has a little bit too much fat and not sure it was worth the cost. We enjoyed the two sides every much - Brussels sprout and sauté mushroom. I joked that perhaps next time I should just have Brussels sprouts and seared Foie gras as my dinner, and I would be very happy. We also ordered a chocolate soufflé which takes 30 min to make. Much to our surprise that the waiter had it split for us when it was brought out. Overall it was a wonderful night, with live piano music playing throughout the whole meal. But we also began to wonder, was it worth the cost? The steak had a little too much fat that it should; Martini has too much ice chip, the two glasses of wine were pricy and forced. Perhaps we will save it for very special occasion only, and next time we will try one of the other three restaurants on site.

We came here for dessert following dinner out. The Ritz in Naples holds some special memories for us and this did not disappoint! Dessert was great and ambiance was fantastic. Live piano music was also playing. Will be back!

Finally dined at a Michelin star feel restaurant in South west florida with exceptional ambiance & service in 18 years of living here. We did a date night yesterday & were utterly impressed! Place is inside the Ritz Carlton in Naples. Recently renovated since hurricane Ian and has a NY style steakhouse feel. I devoured my Fish (Dover Sole) preceded by carpaccio & followed by Chocolate soufflé! Service was excellent as they had a great handle on everything on menu along with wide array of wine selections. Only negative was my husband's NY strip steak lacked enough flavor but cooked right.

Amazing dinner. Amazing service. We enjoyed everything thoroughly! I had the rack of lamb, my husband had the ribeye and my daughter had the duck confit with lamb sausage. Yum!! We finished off with the apple streusel and creme brûlée. Simply amazing!

Hands down the best restaurant I have been to in the state of Florida. Not to be missed on any trip and great for a night that you'll want to remember for years to come. Service is impeccable. The people who work here are top notch servers and experts in good food and drinks. There literally is nothing bad on the menu. I am a girl who loves her steak and this place is by far the best steak in the state in my opinion. The 12 layer chocolate cake is to die for! The bruschetta is made with the freshest tomatoes and so delicious! The atmosphere is what really takes the cake. Beautifully decorated. This place looks like a modern Cinderella's castle on the inside. The dining room is dimly lit with soft white furniture. It's incredibly romantic and luxurious.

The Grill is located inside the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Naples. Upon arriving you are warmly greeted by valet. This Ritz Carlton is as impressive as her sister hotels. Very grand entrance that truly fits into Naples. As we walk towards the restaurant the hotel is beautifully decorated with live flowers placed throughout. Upon arriving our group was acknowledged by the hostess. She was so genuine that you can truly tell she loved her position and wanted you to have a memorable experience. Our reservation was for 6:15 PM so we were the first to arrive. The restaurant itself was dimly lite and there was a glow from the fireplace where we were seated. The drink options were numerous. When this happens I usually go for suggestions so I had a Moscow Mule beautifully served in a metal Pineapple. It was one of the most beautiful presentations of a drink that I had ever seen. Once it arrived they took the top off. It was very heavy to lift. The size had to be the equivalent of at least 3 drinks. By the end of the dinner I sadly never even made a dent although it was very good. My appetite was not too hungry and the bread basket was over the top. Especially with the pretzel bread. The butter as you can imagine is unbelievable. Also on the table they brought assorted veggie sticks that were beautifully presented as well. The assorted olives and dip was delicious. For the main course I had the appetizer size 3 Stone Crab. All of the hard outer shell was removed and was served with two sauces. As a side I had the mushrooms that I shared with the group but still never made a dent as the portion was very large. Dessert selection was of course over the top like everything else here, I would love to come back for the twelve layer chocolate cake it sounded incredible. Instead I ordered the pear soufflé it came with chocolate ice cream and whipped cream. Individual portion that I almost was able to finish. It was very special like everything else in this wonderful restaurant. It was truly a memorable meal. As for the service it was also as over the top to compliment everything else in this experience. When leaving the table to go to the rest room your dinner napkin is replaced with a fresh one. This place I truly recommend for any occasion that you want to have lasting memories of.

The perfect place for a date night. I love the live music and the peacefulness. We have been dining and enjoying the bar for over 12 years.

For apps we had the Hamachi Crudo with pickled mango and seaweed salad, as well as the Spicy Tuna Roll, which had just enough kick. Both were as authentic as anything we've had in Japan. For main course my wife enjoyed the halibut special. One thing I liked is that Marija quoted us the price wihout asking: right in in line with the other entrees and no worrying about 'sticker shock' check surprises at end of the meal. I had the pork chop, where getting it tender challenges many chefs. This one delivered: Perfectly done and seasoned just right. It doesn't come with vegetables so Marija suggested a half side of miso-chili broccoli, which was a great pairing. As we came in I noticed a lot of diners leaving with leftovers: portions were generous and we did same. For dessert, diners at next table raved about their giant 10 layer carrot cake. Marija offered me an off-the-menu 5-layer option that hit the spot. My wife had the flourless dark chocolate torte and ended up taking half home with us- it was very generous and really delicious. Bill was accurate and you pay at table on handheld terminals- no handing over your card and waiting. One of the more expensive restaurants we've eaten at here, but worth every dollar. The cook of the steak was in fact medium rare as ordered, however, when we cut our steaks, immediately you could tell how tough the meat was. I'm not sure if these steaks are frozen or simply a poor quality of cut, but it shouldn't take more than 3 business days to chew a steak. The winner of our meal was in fact the sonoma ravioli. It was very rich and decadent. I also suggest the gouda tater tots and truffle mac & cheese. I'd skip the creamed spinach as it lacked flavor and was a bit runny. The ambiance was high energy, great for big parties and dates as well. Perhaps the seafood entrees may be better as I did notice other parties ordering those items. But to compare to other steakhouses, I don't think I can give it a positive review.

We started with the octopus and fresh focaccia with honey. The octopus was exceptional--easily one of the best I've had and on par with dishes I've enjoyed at Michelin-starred and James Beard-recognized restaurants. We also shared the beet and goat cheese salad, followed by the local snapper and the ribeye cap topped with lobster claw and tail in chimichurri. Every dish was beautifully prepared and showcased the quality of the ingredients. The cocktails were well balanced (not overloaded with ice), and the Thyme on Thyme is an easy recommendation if you're looking for something light and refreshing. This wasn't a thick steak ... it was on the thin side and it was fried in butter making the outside flavorful but a little rubbery. If you like Peter Lugar's you will like this. However, if you like a thick, tender steak ... maybe not. The sides are all similar to any good a la carte steakhouse in the world. They have the famous thick bacon, which is more like pork steak on the menu. The wedge salad was very good. Overall, this place gets packed ... parking is a nightmare ... and it's an institution. If you like vintage style, classic restaurants, you'll be in for a treat here. I would certainly come back. The steaks are not the best I've ever had here ... but all the things add up to make it a special vibe and experience as the many regulars would attest. There is a slight douchebaggery aire to the customers, which would make any New York transplant feel at home.
