My son went here for a year from the time he was born. Generally the staff was very professional and welcoming and quickly answered my questions. The Doctors were attentive. However, I can't recommend this location because they really did not judge my son's health well. We continually went to see them stating his nose is always running, always congested, and breathing through his mouth for months. He had no signs of infection such as coughing, fever, lack of sleep. We knew he wasn't sick with a cold or similar virus. They didn't recommend seeing an allergist or ENT. Turns out we were right to see an ENT as he needed a small procedure. The staff was friendly, but at the end of the day we want accurate diagnosis or recommendations for our child and didn't have that here. read more

I tried calling this office different times to do a phone meet and greet as a new mom. Each time I call the hold time is over 30min. The first two calls they told me someone will reach out to me, which never happened and I waited over a month in a half. Today I called and the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude. My friend recommended Dr. Antoinette del Valle, as she is close to our home. However, my friend stopped going to the office stating that they had the worst front office staff. I thought I would still try the office to give them a fair chance based on my own experience and I can honestly say I've never been treated/spoken to so poorly over the phone. Both my husband and I are medical professionals and I can say that the customer service with the front office is the worst I've ever experienced. read more

Writing this after finding a pediatrician who actually listened to us and didn't rush us out after waiting MINIMUM 30-45 minutes each visit. So many wrong things about this place. From making an appointment with the very rude call center girls to the actual appointment themselves...We were "overlooked" for my sons 12 month appointment. Waited patiently for one hour until speaking up and asking what the problem was. The lady at the front, older with glasses and frizzy hair stated "oh I didn't see you guys." Excuse me? So.....will be you be taking us back immediately then? Nope. Didn't even apologize. Ha! Like it was OUR fault. Finger stick: after performing it, medical assistant didn't place the band aid on correctly and rushed out, only to find my poor sons finger gushing blood out of his finger and down his arm. Had to walk out and find someone to properly put a band aid on his finger. I'm a nurse so I know what good customer service in the medical industry is about; maybe that's why I have such high standards. But everything from the call center to make an appointment to the appointment itself is either rude, a wait, or a waste of time with no answers. As for the docs, I'm not truly impressed; would give an average rating. The pediatricians who I go to now explain things VERY thoroughly and take their time, not to mention make us parents AT EASE. This is the best doctor's office ever! The staff is so friendly and professional in every way! Last month I had to get an allergy referral and this week a same day appointment for my daughter both requests were handled immediately. Dr. Teeple is amazing, she really speaks to my daughter on her level. She's helped us find the best specialist to help guide us through a genetic mutation we carry and personally followed up with me to make sure we were taken care of. She even helped us pick out a knee brace on Amazon. There is no other doctor like Dr. Teeple! I recommend her with all my heart! read more

I have a newborn. We were scheduled at 10:15am, I arrived at 10:10am. They left me and my newborn in the general waiting room which was packed with I'll children. Not a best practice that they should continue, the baby was 5 days old. They proceeded to make us wait in the general wait room for 50 minutes before seeing us. The baby was not with Mom so feeding was an issue. Very poor form. read more

Sea View Pediatric has been a great fit for our little one. It feels like extended family. We see Dr. Teeple. She has great bedside manner and is always there when we need her. All of the staff is great! I highly recommend. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE them! I couldn't have ever asked for a better Pediatrician! Dr.Teeple is amazing! She takes her time and really listens to your concerns and goes over everything with you. She is amazing with my son! The whole staff is more than accommodating and very helpful! Their nurses are wonderful and great with the babies too! You can tell that these people haven't forgotten why they got into pediatrics in the first place! Very friendly and polite! The waiting room has plastic chairs, which are great as they won't harbor any disease or carry bacteria and it makes it easy for them to clean. (I'm really particular of going to Doctors offices just for this reason, call me a hypochondriac if you will but sitting in a seat where sick people go gives me the heebee jeebees!) They have a small area where the older children can play while you wait. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get into an appointment! Always on time! I would recommend (and do) to anyone!! read more

Completely terrible experience the last two visits I have had. I was coming to this location with my three young children and seeing the beloved and amazing Dr. Shannon, who has since retired.Since his retiring I have been treated so terribly and have walked out of the office in tears. The manager I believe her name stars with an H, is so rude and completely disinterested towards the patients, their parents and beliefs. Dr Openshaw was one of the Doctors I saw here and she literally left me in tears, she completely bullied me, she was so judgmental, rude and over all pushy. I will never be back to this shameful practice again, now that Dr. S is gone. No wonder he left, I wouldn't want to have to be in that dreadful office either. I'd rather go wait at an urgent care and be seen quicker & on the same day, it's not like these Seaview Pediatrics ever see you on time. read more

I usually never review places but I have to for this office. I call to schedule an appointment for same day and they say no appointments then I ask to schedule an appointment for tomorrow. Sorry you will have to call back, we only schedule same day appointments for sick kids. This has not happened three days in a row and they won't let me just schedule a normal appointment. Doctors might be good too bad you can't get an appointment to ever see one. read more

We adore Dr. Hackett. We were assigned her by our insurance with our newborn, and we're nervous about going to her at first (for no strong reason other than we had interviewed pediatricians and decided who we wanted, but couldn't switch medical groups in my 3rd trimester). After our first visit when my son was 2 days old my husband and I looked at each other and decided we would stay with her because she was great. We both liked her bedside manner, she spent a lot of time with us and starts each visit by asking us how it's going and if we have any questions/concerns. The only downside for us is the distance, it can take 45 minutes for us to get to the office. We will be switching to a pediatrician that is closer to home once I go back to work. Dr. Hackett is wonderful! read more

Dr. Teeple has been our pediatrician for over five years now. She is amazing! Dr. Teeple is kind, caring and loving with our whole family. She also happens to be a great physician. We have seen Dr. Hackett for last minute visits as well and she is terrific! On an unrelated note, I think it's sad that someone disgruntled by a vaccination policy, which is intended to safeguard the health of children, would stoop so low as to bring up the legal issues of a doctors' spouse. Especially, when those legal issues have absolutely nothing to do with pediatric healthcare or healthcare in general. I don't know about Sea View Pediatrics, but I'm certainly glad to see the back of you! read more

We love coming to sea view, we are Dr. Schneider patient and he is so knowledgeable and thorough with every concern we might have. We have never had an issue with getting an appointment, and we have to give a special mention to Taylor who works at the front desk. She is SO kind and genuine, so helpful always! We absolutely ADORE Dr. Hackett!! She is so wonderful with our kids and all of our needs. She takes the time to sit and listen to all of my questions and concerns. She truly cares about her patients and their families! I am a seriously anxious worrier mom and she puts all of my worries in check whether it's by taking time to fully explain it to me or by running every test possible to make me sure that nothing is wrong, she will do it! Her nurse Amber is also amazing!! My kids love seeing them! I truly trust Dr. Hackett with all of my babies and wouldn't go anywhere else!! read more

We have been coming to Seaview for nearly two years. While the doctors and nurses here are kind and well-meaning, the practice is disorganized, disjointed and unprofessional. In the past few months, I've called on three different occasions when my infant daughter was running a fever and been told "we have no availability" to see her. I've just discovered that at a recent well visit the doctor neglected to administer two vaccinations my son should have received. Not to mention, I always wait a minimum of five minutes on hold before I get through to an operator, most of whom have terrible bedside manners. Effective June 1 our family will be switching practices. read more

We've been going to Seaview since our daughter was born in early 2016, mostly visiting the San Clemente office. We are very happy with the practice, the wait times are always short, especially for unscheduled sick visits. The staff is great, really patient nurses and we've had great care from our daughter's primary doctor, Jan Johnson as well as Dr Teeple. They are very focused on our daughter, don't rush us through and provide great guidance on how to care for our daughter as well as reassurance in what not to get worried about. Their bedside manner is especially helpful as a first time parent. read more

Be aware that sick and well visits are not kept separate (i.e. well in the mornings and sick in the afternoon does not happen at this practice). Both times I was there with my well children there were sick kids hacking all over the waiting lobby in close proximity. Wait times to see the doctors and overall time spent in the office is absolutely ridiculous. Two and a half hours for one visit and an hour and fifteen for another. The vast majority of this time was me entertaining my children and not face to face with a doctor. The older blond woman who re-books your appointments in the San Clemente office is horrible! After our 2.5 hour visit we went to book a follow up appointment and she couldn't be bothered to get off a personal call on her cell phone. We stood right in front of her as she continued on her call for more than 5 minutes before she decided getting back to work was a good idea (mind you she was still on her phone when she finally helped us). She then completely mis-booked our followup as she was far too distracted carrying on her personal conversation. read more

We love Seaview Peds! We see Doctor Hackett and are so stoked on her. She is so kind and caring, we have nothing but compliments for her. And the best part is being able to see the beautiful Taylor at the front desk to love on your baby and make you feel at home! Which all the staff does as well, all of them are incredible ladies (haven't come across any men yet, haha) and we are very thankful to be going there knowing our little man is in good hands! read more

Great doctors, and I can say doctors because it is always a 50/50 chance I can see Dr Hackett. I have spend equal time using the Urgent. When I call I because our child is ill or hurt I can never get an appointment. Call Tuesday and the 1st available is 10:30 on Friday. So if you only ever need a yearly apt, this place is perfect. If you need help today, i am not sure the San Clemente office is perfect. read more
