Yes yes yes 100 times yes I highly recommend getting a sandwich at this place and taking it to the beach for a perfect lunch. I got the trailblazer and thought this is the best dang sandwich I have ever had in my life! The brisket was amazing. There is some indoor seating but there's nothing like a sandwich at the beach. Walking up the place was packed so I knew this was going to be good.

We stopped in and tried the Neptun and the Black & Blue sandwiches, and both were outstanding. The flavors blended together perfectly--the crisp bread, delicious sauces, pesto, bits of onion, and perfectly prepared meat all came together in a way that practically melted in your mouth. Ordering was easy, and although it's a small venue, it's definitely worth the stop. The menu leans heavily toward chicken sandwiches, but there are also several turkey, roast beef, and pastrami options. While I didn't notice any sandwiches with avocado, everything we tried was flavorful and satisfying. The staff was courteous and welcoming, there is both indoor and outdoor seating available, and a small parking area in the back. The wait wasn't long at all, and the quality of the food made it well worth it. I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

Been going for years and post remodel they've stuck to the recipe that's made them my go to beach sammich place: great breads, great smoked chicken, brisket, and pastrami. Can't go wrong with any of the choices. Faves: beach bum, boardwalk, cove... rotating selection of local canned brews. Gets crowded and long waits, get there early. Have a brew and chill in the back patio

Seabright Deli is one of those spots that's decent, but the pricing makes it hard to justify. We paid about $50 for two sandwiches, two sodas, and two mini bags of chips, which felt pretty steep for what you get. The sandwiches themselves were solid, fresh ingredients, good bread, nothing bad, but also nothing particularly memorable. Everything tasted fine, just not at a level that matches the price point. It ends up feeling more like you're paying for the location and convenience than the food itself. Overall, it's a good grab if you're nearby and need something quick, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way for given the cost.

After some dining mishaps the day before I could've not been happier with my experience at this deli. Walked in nobody was really there. The guys were super friendly. It's a clean shop. It was cool on a warm day.. I was overwhelmed with the choices and I had asked the guys what was most popular and they said "The Cove" and it was tangy and bright, and sweet and savory, and the bread was incredibly soft and warm. I tried every side that they offered I think. The clam chowder was terrific, I'm not a big fan of their pasta salad, but it had a lot of red bell pepper and that's not a flavor that I like in general, but the pasta was cooked well.. Lastly, the banana pudding, absolutely bomb.com. Smack your mama and run.! Absolutely delicious! If I'm ever back in the area, I'll pop back in.

I seen a TikTok about this local spot and knew I had to check it out. I was on a time crunch, so I figured I would do a mobile order just in case since it was lunch hour. Order online was speedy and easy. When I arrived my meal was ready to go and was easy marked which order was mine. The sandwich was amazing! Super fresh and tasty. I will definitely be going back again. Super conveniently close to the beach too, just a short 5 minute walk. Parking is limited in front, so arrive early if you have a mobile pick up to account for parking delay time. Can't complain! They had a line when I walked in and I can see why. Amazing food! 10/10!

Here we go. Saw someone post on IG that the Cove was the best sandwich and this guy drive two hours to get one. Well I now agree with him. I think the Cove is the best sandwich I've ever had. I also had the smoke show, this was great but the cove was hands down much better and now I know. Get the Cove it'll be your favorite sandwich period. Mom's Mac salad was good not great. Clam chowder was piping hot and yummy, definitely a must. Old school pop and I had the old fashioned root beer and my better half had the black cherrry and great sodas. Thanks for having us.

WOW! This place is fantastic! Incredibly delicious sandwiches. We got four total and every single one was out of this world delicious. Definitely pick these up and take the down to the beach to enjoy!

Here the other day, tried two new sandwiches... Best BLT I've had in a long time, maybe even ever. Thick bacon in every bite! Arugula, aioli, bread... loved the entire sandwich! Had the Castle Beach too, which was also a very tasty sandwich! I'd be happy getting both again. The BLT though, it's a sandwich I know I'll be craving! Mmm!!

We have come to this deli every time we've come to Santa Cruz for years. It's walking distance from the Boardwalk. The location isn't the biggest but it makes good use of the space it has. I have always had good sandwiches there, but this time I was somewhat disappointed. Maybe it's my own high expectations, but my sandwich today was just okay. It still wasn't bad by any means, it just wasn't great, either. Everyone has off days, and I'm chalking it up to an off day, so I'll still give them a shot on my next trip down, but I'm hoping that today wasn't a precursor of what it to come.

Very clean store, dim lighting, mostly lit from the natural light through windows. Spacious, both indoor and outdoor seating available. Incredibly speedy service!! Immediately ready to take and make orders promptly and with fresh ingredients. Laminated menus at the entrance and a display of their sandwiches on boards. Every sandwich has full description of what is inside, alongside toasted sandwiches are cold sandwiches and wraps available. It does tend to get busy, so the option to order ahead is also available online. These sandwiches are pretty pricey ranging from $15-18. However, for the quality of ingredients, quick service, and filling portions it is definitely worth it! I tried the Yacht Club and Giant Dipper. Both phenomenal sandwiches, wow. They were rich in flavor, soaked in sauces, and the bread was crispy. Perfection! The chicken in the Yacht Club was juicy, well seasoned, and the smoky flavor was so delicious. Great balance of veggies and protein, crunchy bacon adds a nice texture. My favorite of the two has to be the Giant Dipper, it came with a hot bowl of Smoked Brisket Au jus as a dipping sauce. Which further enhanced the flavor profile of the sandwich. We drank the leftover portion like soup! Also the amount of meat in the sandwich blew me away, generous portion, SUPER FILLING. I cannot wait to return and try different sandwiches. A Must-Try if you're in the area!!

Honestly one of the best sandwiches I've ever hand! The bread was so airy and fluffy!! Macaroni salad was good I'm not usually and Mac salad fan!

Delicious. Will definitely come back, worth the wait on a Sunday holiday weekend. Got the lost boy and mermaid sandwiches.

I was hungry and one sandwich was just a lot right to feel full. Be aware for first timers the process to get your food is a bit confusing. You'll head into the back right hand side of the store to place your order verbally with a staff member. Then, get in line at the regular register to pay. No one told me what to do after that, so I spent a long time waiting in front of the staff member I had placed my order with. This was wrong. You're actually supposed to stand in the area between the register and the liquor section and they'll call your name there. Hopefully this will save anyone reading this the same confusion I had :)

All the staff were super friendly, energetic and cool to converse with. Light reggae music was playing in the background during our visit. You Go to the counter to order and then they bring the food to you. The staff was very friendly and very beach-like. They had a great menu and choices of cold or hot sandwiches, munchies, happy hour foods, and salads. The ambience of the restaurant was very nice we did go a little between dinner and lunch in the afternoon but there were still quite a few people milling around. It was very clean and each booth was separated so you could hear yourself talk; it wasn't an open floor plan. There was outdoor seating as well, which was more of an open floor plan. The food was great. They had many different sizes of sandwiches. We got the three-inch, which was more than enough for us. I got the three-inch Santa Cruz, it's a cold sandwich, but there was very little fat on the pastrami. I also got a cup of clam chowder which had a little bit of bacon on top of-fantastic. The sandwich was fantastic and just the perfect size for a soup and salad combination. My wife got the skinny dipper just without mayonnaise and onions, but it had Au jus on the side. She said it also tasted fantastic and she got the chicken poblano soup. Both soups came with bread, thinly sliced small pieces of bread but they were fantastic with the soup. She had a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon, and I had one of their specialty beers. In all ohh the meal was fantastic. Couldn't have asked for a better spot in downtown Santa Cruz you've got to try this, it is fantastic, the food is great, the prices are reasonable and the soups are homemade. The ambience or the vibe as they say nowadays, was very calming. There are other locations. You might want to see if there's one nearer to you, but I can't guarantee it will have the same vibe as Santa Cruz did.

I had a pastrami sandwich there once before and it was pretty good, so figured this would do. Ordered the burger combo with Lentil soup. Asked for my burger medium and when it came out it was well past that and I'm pretty sure it was a frozen patty. I have frozen patties I cook at home that are great, so guessing it just wasn't very good quality to begin with. The lentil soup was flavorless and I only had a few bites before tossing out. Seasoning, a ham hock, and some aromatics would do a lot for this soup. Left feeling very disappointed as there are a bunch of more satisfying options in the area and I chose the wrong one. As I was sitting in traffic, my stomach started feeling like I ate some broken glass or something. Obviously there wasn't broken glass in the burger, just a fitting analogy. I had stomach pains for the next few hours. This is all I had eaten in like 10 hours, so I'm positive it was the burger. The woman at the counter was friendly and the place was pretty clean. I've got a pretty iron gut and it takes a lot to make it turn. Don't think I will be going back.
