Really lovely sandwich here! We got two sandwiches to split, which was more than enough for 4 meals - these sandwiches are very large. We got a turkey sandwich and a BBQ sandwich, both of which were delicious, with tons of ingredients in them. The staff were really friendly as well! The only thing I might say is that it seems like all of the sandwiches are really complex, a mountain high with tons of ingredients. I would have loved a more simple sandwich that focused just on the high quality ingredients. But overall really enjoyed the experience! read more

Friendliest customer service! So helpful and sweet. The little shop has great spices, fresh meats, schwag and snacks. The ice cream looked great but we were there for the sandwiches. Had the "Boo's Brisket Sandwich." Most tender brisket I've had on a sandwich, sweet/spicy bbq sauce, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, mayo, peppers. We went with dutch crunch. Fed both of us and it was so delicious. $15 Highly recommend and can't wait to go back to try more. Our usual go-to on Fridays for lunch is right next door (Mijos), but we decided to try LG Meats today because the sandwich options looked so amazing. (Still big fans of Mijos!) I'm mostly vegetarian, but I'm open to bacon and pepperoni if necessary. I ordered the Jackie Special without turkey, which caused some confusion from the sandwich maker ("A turkey sandwich, hold the turkey?"). But the result was fantastic: smoked cheese, amazing bacon, and avocado (with all the toppings) on Dutch Crunch -- so delicious. Really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and the service was pretty quick. The store is clean and cute, with all kinds of ice cream and potato chip options, if you need a side for your sandwich. Recommend. read more

I have loved Los Gatos meats for a decade. I would eat there once a week when I worked over the hill and I could not be more juiced that they have appeared in Capitola. On Sunday we had a lazy pool day with family and I picked up five different kinds of sandwiches and everybody from age 4:00 to age 70 chomped down with happiness. Thank you and we love you!! I came in tonight when they had already cleaned up the sandwich prep area. A gentleman (the owner, I think) asked me what kind of sandwich I wanted and I told him turkey. He said ok, no problem, totally went out of his way, and made it for me. It was AMAZING, and he was so nice to do that!! I always wanted to try los gatos meat located in Los Gatos but every time i wanted to go there it was closed. Today while we had a family get together one of my family members mentioned this location. I was so excited that i had to run to this place before they closed and ordered a smoked turkey sandwich with some other pork sausage and beef jerky. My family members go other items like ice cream and shaved ice. We all enjoyed everything we ate and are super happy. I just wish they had wild bore sausage to eat. Yumm that would really make my day even better. But we are happy and will try to get wild bore meat from the los gatos location. read more
