EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, DISRESPECTFUL, AND DISAPPOINTING I am absolutely appalled by the treatment I received at Seafood Pot 2. The owner/manager is one of the most unprofessional individuals I've ever encountered, and the way she speaks to and treats customers--especially Black customers, who make up the majority of her business--is unacceptable. I placed an order for myself and my 2-year-old baby. When I arrived to pick up my food, I politely mentioned to the cashier that I forgot to confirm that the corn was fresh because the last few times I came, it tasted old and reheated. The cashier took the corn to the manager to check, and instead of addressing the concern like a professional, the manager became angry simply because I asked a question. The cashier came back without my food and said the manager wanted to refund my order because she was "upset" that I questioned the corn. I asked for the food as is since it was already paid for and intended for a toddler, and the manager flat-out refused. She wouldn't speak to me, wouldn't explain anything, and hid in the back while instructing the cashier to refund my money. This behavior was rude, hostile, and completely unnecessary. After this experience, I looked through other reviews and found multiple customers reporting old food, overcooked items, and rude interactions with the same manager. Instead of taking accountability, she argues with customers publicly, even going so far as to post the last four digits of people's card numbers in her responses--which is wildly unprofessional and raises major privacy concerns. She also accuses customers of using EBT or eating all their food before complaining. That was not my situation at all, but clearly this is a pattern with how she handles legitimate concerns. This is now the second Asian-owned business in the Fairburn Road / Hospital Drive area where I've experienced complete disregard and lack of respect toward Black customers. It is insulting that a manager would treat paying customers this way over a simple question--no conversation, no solution, just hostility and refusal to provide the food I already paid for. It is clear she does not value the Black dollar, customer loyalty, or basic professionalism. I will never return, and I hope others take these experiences seriously. This was our first time visiting this establishment since returning back to Douglasville. The customer service was excellent and attentive. This is family owned and they were very personable and welcoming and it was clean! I ordered the 10 piece wings (hot honey ) & (lemon pepper hot) they were the right texture and the right amount of seasoning. I also ordered the fried catfish and shrimp with fries and it was seasoned perfectly for my taste. Not too much seasoning to over power the fish or shrimp. Okay Seafood Pot- I see you! First time at Seafood Pot, I will say the food was pretty good. I got the catfish nugget combo and it was quite good! Plentiful, it's now two days later and I'm warming up the nuggets and making some cheese grits to go with them. My only criticism, I do like my fish fried hard, but not so hard that it loses the taste of the fish. But that's being petty, I'll just have to tell them next time not to fry it too hard. Now, you would've gotten 4 stars had it not been for that Green Apple Lemonade! Oh my Gawd, that lemonade is everything, not too sweet, refreshing and I really liked that machine you seal the cup with. The service is great! I called in my order and the young man who took it was friendly, helpful and went out of his way to make sure I got what I wanted. I was torn between Cajun Rice and fries, he told me I could get the rice if I wanted with the combo, but I opted for the fries, next time I'll get the rice. The young lady who took my payment was really nice too, my only criticism would be, just a little more interaction with your customers. Smile a little bit and a little more communication goes a long way. (Can you tell I was a customer service rep at one time? LOL) The store is clean and it smells good. The menus are easy to read and concise. They have good products for sale and it's not overstuffed with... stuff! It's just enough to enhance the experience. That Green Apple lemonade though... Someone recently told me about Seafood Pot 2. She told me they were reasonably priced and the food was delicious. So I had to try it out for myself. Since I originally heard about it, I've been 3 times and I haven't been disappointed either time. Each time I ordered something different. So far I've had their wings, fried shrimp, shrimp rolls, fried fish, fries, shrimp boil, and crab leg boil. I haven't been disappointed at all!! All the orders are cooked to order. The service was great. Make sure y'all try their various lemonades as well. They don't disappoint! I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

I went into the restaurant and ordered a lobster tail, shrimp rolls, 2 drinks and a bag of vegetables. I ate the shrimp rolls in the car and my son and I drank the drinks. When I made it home and started eating the food, I opened the vegetables and there were bugs in it. I immediately called the restaurant and asked to speak to the owner. The young girl answered the phone and said she was the manager. I informed her I would be bringing the remaining food back for a refund. She said come before they closed. When I made it to the restaurant the young girl at the register went to tell the owner I brought back the remaining food for a refund. The owner tells her she can only refund the food with the bugs in it. I advised her that I did not want to eat the rest of the food because I threw up what I had eaten when I saw the bugs. The owner never once looked at the food to see the bugs. Instead she accused me of just trying to get free food. She refused to refund me money because she said she has a no refund policy even though there were bugs in my food. I will be calling the health department Monday when they open. read more
