I did not enjoy my experience at this restaurant. The service that we received didn't seem to care and only did the minimum. We ordered the king crab legs for both of us and there was definitely more shell than crab meat, so that was also a disappointment. When we did get our crab, we didn't have anything to crack it with and king crab shells are very thick compared to snow crab, so I was surprised that we had to ask for it and then wait. When our server did bring over something to crack it with, she only brought one pair of scissors for us to share and said she didn't have anymore. We finished our food and left unfulfilled. He insisted there was no heat at all. My husband on the other hand said it was ON FIRE and burned his gums! I guess that just goes to show, we're all different. Or that my family can't agree on shit. A nice alternative to cramped Juicy Crab! Customer service: Kimberly was our waitress during our visit. She was delightful and brought us everything that we requested, even my very specific ones. It's nice to be in the hands of a friendly and hardworking waitress :) Food: Totally forgot to take pics of our food. I was hangry. I ordered the Dungeness crab plate and the bf ordered the catfish plate. If you're seeking some crab legs, definitely try this place! They were scrumptious. I ended up loving my bf's dish way better, though! The batter for the catfish is delectable and the fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned. Parking: The parking here is in a shared lot with other establishments. It was fairly easy for us even on a Sunday at lunch time. Would I recommend? Yes. Will I be back? Well, if I had written a review prior to tonight it would have been 4 stars. I generally order my food to go (mainly) or via GrubHub (late work night and can't leave home). But tonight, Saturday 9/11/2021 decided I wanted to sit and eat in the restaurant and perhaps actually slowly eat and enjoy my meal along with a light libation. My fave is shrimp. No head in tasty special medium and extra corn. I like the tasty wings mild or medium too. Well, that didnt happen! As I was being seated, Young lady tells her boss to put me another section because it wasn't her turn and since it was slow night both will have opportunities. Ok. So I sit there. No one shows up. Another customer comes in and was seated at the table the manager/owner was going to originally seat me. And she is immediately served. Well, I declare. I sit another 2 minutes to see what time Red Lobster closes. Someone will appreciate my $20+ order and tip. As I was leaving I told another manager why I was leaving. Original server who didn't want me in her section runs up and says I'll serve you. I'm good. Apparently, you really didn't need the $. The restaurant only had 6 other people by the time i was seated. I'm in Red Lobster writing this review sipping on a Mojito, savoring my Salmon salad and stuffed Mushrooms. I'll stick to takeout next time Tasty Crab. read more

I was craving catfish for lunch today so I gave this place a try! The catfish was good as well as the fries that came with it. I actually ordered the shrimp and catfish combo and the shrimp was good as well. I appreciate them automatically giving me tartar sauce and cocktail sauce with my order. I wish I didn't have to post this but after being sick my entire birthday weekend I have to put a warning out. I ate there on Friday night and had black mussels with my meal. I had a few and noticed they didn't taste right so I stopped eating them. Fast forward a few hours later and I was throwing up all night long. It took a day and a half to recover. So I bypassed the Juicy Crab to try something new. There was no line, no waiting on a Friday night! Actually they was watching me park and waiting on me at the door !!! Our server was a cool guy who use to be in the military. I bypassed appetizers and went straight for the $1.99 drink specials. My wine was really good and I ordered the S4 combo with lobster tail, snow crab , shrimp , corn , sausage, potatoes , eggs and I added my favorite green mussels. I chowed the tasty seasoning which included everything and my heat level was medium. I really enjoyed this meal and I was even happier that they pour all your food out the bag into the bowl for you making it easy to get to everything and then when you're ready to go they will come back and bag everything you want to take home in a new bag and the server made sure to get all of my sauce back in the bag. Hey that was just a little extra step that meant so much to me cause I'd gotten use to digging through my bag. Oh and they offer a military discount which was nice cause it saved us $11.00, I will definitely go again! I know my pictures will make you hungry. Better than the Juicy place...lol!!! We were planning to go to the aforementioned place but after being hung up on twice while calling to check the wait we decided to look elsewhere for our crab fix. The mix of garlic, butter, and spice was perfect. (I opted for the hot). I had the lunch special of 1/2 lb headless shrimp and 1/2 lb crab, and Moscato wine to pair with the spicy. Tasty Crab has been one of our favorite places to order take out. We've tried the dungeness, snow and blue crabs in the tasty mix. They are all yummy. We've also gotten the mussels and baby clams. They're both good but the baby clams are one of my faves. We've gotten the shrimp before but it wasn't my favorite. I didn't really like the texture, but my husband liked it. while the food is standard, their dedication to service is WAY BELOW PAR. During the quarantine, I ordered food online. Two boil bags of shrimp. That's it. After I paid and submitted the order, the website was it would be ready at 7:00, which was 30 min after I ordered. I get there, there is a line outside. The place isn't enforcing social distancing AT ALL. They aren't calling people to tell them their order is ready, they're not even calling names, they're calling out order numbers, which you could only have if you screenshotted the order submission webpage. Needless to say, lots of people were crowded at the door, yelling because they were just calling order numbers and dropping orders on the table and walking away. No organization. 7:30 passes, no food. 8pm passes, no food. 8:30 passes, still no food. I ask for a refund, they won't give it. Everybody is at the door and lots of folks are pretty angry at this point and asking for refunds after waiting for house. They refused to give them. I got my food two hours after ordering, an hour and a half after they said it would be ready. Extremely disorganized and they gave not a single fk about people's safety. Other restaurants are set up where u tell them what car you're in it you call when you're there and they bring food to you as a way to help be safe. Not them. They don't care. So we came around two hours before they closed. My friend was indecisive about what she wanted because she went to the bathroom and the lady was rushing us. Her name was Tracy. She went back and got us our waters and then told us she would bring us a straw. We never got our straws which wasn't a big deal.. but then she said "can you try hurry up and order, we close soon and I wanna go home" so we just ordered. We got the S3 in tasty special medium and a catfish basket with Cajun fries. The crab legs were over cooked, my friend said the corn was DRY, and the catfish tasted weird. I don't know how to explain it.. it tasted.. like it wasn't the best quality. She was craving seafood boil soooo bad and it really disappointing. The fries were also bland and I love French fries! I might add.. when she came to get our plates.. we had put everything on the tray so she could grab it in one go and she told us to separate it ourselves before she took it so she could just give the plates to the dishwashers. As others have noted, this place is just like The Juicy Crab franchise. Today I tried the tilapia basket with red potatoes (upcharge) as my side. My potatoes were too firm / undercooked. My four 'pieces' of fish were tiny - more like fish tenders - or fish fingers and the flesh was gray - instead of white. I ate one - but decided not to eat the other for fear of stomach issues later. I basically paid over $12 for a small piece of fish and I'm gonna have to finish cooking these potatoes or throw them out! ARGH! The other reason I gave them two stars is customer service. While the young lady who took my call, Gabby, seemed sweet and full of energy - the person at the hostess stand, Lilianna (sp?), was a real sourpuss. She was leaning against the wall and the counter engrossed in her phone during most of my transaction. But she also did that weird thing some folks do where they stare at you and make intense eye contact, but don't actually say hello or say anything. For instance, I wasn't sure where to go for pick-up orders, so as I approached the hostess stand, I said, "I have a call-in order" - and she stared at me in confusion. I repeated myself and she actually slouched against the wall and started looking at her phone. Gabby, who was standing nearby, actually responded and said, "We have it right here." So 1 star for tiny portions of bad food and 1 star for morose, low-energy, unfriendly staff member - but I'm bumping them up a star because Gabby seemed nice. read more

1st time here with a partner f mine being he has a tape worm. Worse than me to be honest. As far as the food is concerned it s actually pretty good based on what I had which was shrimp.
