Both times, I finally gave up and left. Tonight I decided to give it one more try. It's beachfront, it's a beautiful location, and I really wanted to like this place. I ordered the salmon, which was around $30. It was so dry I couldn't eat it, and it tasted freezer-burned to me. The sauce tasted manufactured rather than fresh, the rice was fine, and the green beans were completely bland. I took essentially one bite and stopped eating. What made it worse was the service. My virtually untouched dinner sat in front of me for several minutes without anyone checking to see whether everything was okay....even though the restaurant was not remotely busy and appeared to have plenty of staff. I also ordered a spicy skinny margarita, which was surprisingly syrupy-sweet. I drank it because I wasn't about to let perfectly good tequila go to waste, but it wasn't a good margarita. To their credit, when someone finally came over and I explained that I couldn't eat the salmon, they removed the entrée from my bill. I appreciated that and think it's important to mention it. But three visits tell a story. Twice I couldn't get served at all. The third time I finally got served, but the food, cocktail, and attentiveness were all disappointing. For a beachfront restaurant at this price point, I simply expect better. Great location, enormous potential, but based on my three experiences, I won't be back.
