    Poke Regular Bowl

YUMMYYYYY!!! One of the best meals we ate on our vacation in Florida! Everything was fresh and delicious. The two younger girls working were soooo sweet and extremely helpful. They deserve a raise! They were constantly cleaning or helping people incredibly hard workers. The store itself was so cutely decorated I loved the surfboard tables!!

One of the best Poke place I've eaten at! The food and service was fantastic! The ambiance made feel like I was in Hawaii!

There seems to be a proliferation of these fast casual poke places popping up in town. First time so I ordered up the Spicy Tuna Bowl. Asked for it as they designed it. They have a few premade recipes for bowls. Hard to hear in the store with the music about two numbers too high. Young man behind the counter explained everything to me. I think he was surprised I did not do a custom bowl. There are lots of proteins and add ins to make it fit your particular taste. He was courteous and very helpful. My bowl had a nice amount of heat and not too many add ins. All good. The brown rice was a little chewy but I enjoyed the meal. Pro tip - since we are close the the Space Force base they offer a discount for active duty. Not for retirees. Wonder if they know there are way more retirees here than active duty. Missing a market segment. Pro tip 2 - they charge to charge or use any card. So cash is king here. It was pretty good so I will be back.

I have a new favorite lunch spot. It's a great light meal that's healthy. Also fun to create a different bowl every visit. I really enjoyed my bowl and definitely recommend stopping by and having a poke bowl!

My new favorite place, this is the first place I have found in the area that was both quick AND healthy. Also the kid serving me was so enthusiastic and excited to serve me my food. I also really like the ambiance, I normally take my food to go but this place was so chill and decorated awesome I really had such a good relaxing meal.

Food was good, but it was a but pricey for the amount. I also wish they'd had descriptions online of what was in their sauces.

Awesome food. Good service. A bit expensive but what isn't these days. Tuna and salmon bowls are my favorite and wonderful sauces.

We got there and definitely a beach bar/restaurant vibe. The place is quite small and you're eating outdoors on picnic tables. Atmosphere is really nice but the cleanliness is sub par. Let me start with the positives. 1) The waitress provided great service and was very patient with us on the ordering. 2) Food: the fish and chips was good. Tasty, Not greasy and crispy. The shrimp po boy is cooked nicely and taste is good. The highlight are the waffle fries and sweet potatoes tots. 3) the food cooked and served in a timely manner. Now the negatives. 1) the steak skewers. Very tough and bland. 2) the seafood bisque. It wasn't a bisque and very watery. I think it was microwaved and wasn't cooked fresh. 3) sweet ice tea. I can tell it was brewed but wasn't made that day and wasn't sweet. 4) You get 1 small tartar sauce. If you want additional sauces, it's $1 extra (each). Why? You get 3 large pieces of fish in an order of fish and chips but a small amount of tartar sauce which covers one piece. 5) $$$ I like supporting local mom and pop type of restaurant but the prices are a bit on the expensive side. My family goes to the AFB commissary on a daily basis. We may comeback for the fish and chips but will bring our own tartar sauce.

The back of the house was likely overworked. It took a LONG time for us and those at other tables to get our food, yet when our meals finally arrived, they were hot and delicious. Based on my experience, you should request extra spice in the gumbo (it was likely made for the masses and was merely good). The good here far outweighs the bad - I'd definitely come back!

The customer service is always so friendly and fun. The patio is by far our favorite beachside patio. And the live music is SO GOOD! They mix it up and keep it fresh, so it's always guaranteed to entertain. We continue bringing all our out-of-town guests here, over and over - and T&T has become one of their favorite places, too! So glad this business and the owners care and invest in keeping it the best beachside bar!

Third visit to Tide & Tonic. Third bad experience. Unfortunately, there won't be a fourth…read more The first two times I came in, I sat at the bar for roughly 20 minutes without anyone even acknowledging me, much less taking an order. Both times, I finally gave up and left. Tonight I decided to give it one more try. It's beachfront, it's a beautiful location, and I really wanted to like this place. I ordered the salmon, which was around $30. It was so dry I couldn't eat it, and it tasted freezer-burned to me. The sauce tasted manufactured rather than fresh, the rice was fine, and the green beans were completely bland. I took essentially one bite and stopped eating. What made it worse was the service. My virtually untouched dinner sat in front of me for several minutes without anyone checking to see whether everything was okay....even though the restaurant was not remotely busy and appeared to have plenty of staff. I also ordered a spicy skinny margarita, which was surprisingly syrupy-sweet. I drank it because I wasn't about to let perfectly good tequila go to waste, but it wasn't a good margarita. To their credit, when someone finally came over and I explained that I couldn't eat the salmon, they removed the entrée from my bill. I appreciated that and think it's important to mention it. But three visits tell a story. Twice I couldn't get served at all. The third time I finally got served, but the food, cocktail, and attentiveness were all disappointing. For a beachfront restaurant at this price point, I simply expect better. Great location, enormous potential, but based on my three experiences, I won't be back. The best thing that happened tonight was meeting a fellow writer sitting next to me at the bar. Unfortunately, Tide & Tonic can't take credit for that. It gets a 1 star as bartender was so very sweet about it all.

We celebrated our anniversary here, just an intimate dinner for two. When the reservation was made,…read moremy husband advised of our special occasion, and the table was decoration with rose petals , our napkins folded in the shape of a heart with a nice sign that wished us a happy anniversary. The service was lovely, our waiter was able to answer our questions and make suggestions. It was a slow weeknight, so I enjoyed hearing his knowledge on the menu as he answered other peoples suggestions. With each dish, he made recommendations on how to pair it with a drink for those wanting. He was very charming. We started with the famous roasted bourbon candied bacon tapas along with the French onion Angus Meatballs. Solid choices. For dinner my husband had the Boneless Rib eye cooked with Porcino Mushroom crust and chefs butter. It comes with a roasted head of garlic, French whipped potatoes and green beans. It came out perfectly cooked and was enjoyed very much. I had the Crispy Duck Breast and Confit, this was my first time trying this so when they waiter asked how I wanted it cooked I asked him to make a recommendation. It was very good, but I think the duck lost its crisp when the plate was brought out with a dome cover on it. The presentation was wonderful. The was it was presented, when they lifted the lid in a circular manner all the smells were just delicious. We finished with desert. My husband chose the peanut butter cheesecake, with Oreo crust, paired with a home made grape jelly. it was all his favorite things on one plate. I had a small taste, the smooth peanut flavored cheese cake was decadent. I chose the Sea Salted Pistachio Gelato- OMG, from the first taste, I looked and my husband with wide eyes. I have never had such a glorious taste of pistachio in my life! The sea salt complimented the sweetness and the pistachios through out were plentiful. Honestly the best desert I've ever had and the perfect ending to our meal. Coming here is an experience you can enjoy, it was quiet this night which was perfect for us. There is a piano in the bar area and I understand on some nights a violinist. We had something grand planned for our anniversary this year, but due to family emergency needed to stay local. This was the perfect evening and way to celebrate. If you are looking for a fine dining experience with made from scratch, chef prepared dishes that are a work of art.. this is the place for you.

The ambiance was perfect. This restaurant is high end so it's a little pricey, but for us, it was worth the money we spent. The added little "happy birthday" note topped off a great evening.
