This is an overdue review, but I do want to share our experience with Sean. Sean helped us several times on the mortgage, as well as the refinance. He is extremely responsive to any questions we ask, and always provides us the best options based on the current status. For example, in our first mortgage couple of years ago, when the 7 arm had much lower rate compared to 30-year fixed rate, he suggested 7 arm for us. In our recent mortgage, given that the difference between 7 arm and 30-year fixed rate is too small, he recommended 30-year fixed rate instead, and suggested we can seek refinance in the future to lower our rate if possible. During the escrow, he was also really helpful and responsive for any issues we encountered, which really facilitated process and made the process much less stressful and smooth. Sean helped us close out loan without any issues. The rate was great. I will highly recommend especially if you have to close within 21 days. We did have some issues with calculation for the rent back date but I think that was more of a miscommunication between the realtors. Sean was able to quickly make changes and release the funds. It also helps that he is with BoFA so they are more professional and efficient. Sean Kitagawa is an absolute pleasure to work with and I would recommend... to at the very least get a quote from him when you're doing your research for home loans.
