I knew it would get worse and asked boxes to pack up our food and leave. Servers were understanding and kind, but more groups kids coming in such small area. I blame management, get yourself a HOSTESS, someone that manages seating. This was worse than a club or bar with everyone drinking because it was parents getting shots tequila, with kids, not caring about any other guests. Food was good, fresh, but it was insane environment. Your liquor license should be revoked.. plan on hearing from ABC. Toddlers sitting AT THE BAR literally on the bar counter.

We came in right before the restaurant filled out at 10am and got the shakshuka along with a burger and fries. Everything was made perfectly and so flavorful. The chefs certainly have a skill for optimal taste and cooking as that was the best meal of the weekend. The server was so attentive and sweet too! It was not busy only two other couples eating when we arrived. We sat at our usual table And noted service was a bit slow right off the bat. When I received my Pho, which I thought was a longer wait than usual, it was luke warm if that. The Korean ribs and chicken wings arrived temperature appropriate. I pushed my soup aside but no one checked back until my lunch mate finished. When the waiter came to clear the table I asked for a to go and thought he would ask if there was anything wrong. He did not so I told him the Pho was served luke warm so I did not eat it and that no one had checked back or even passed by us or I would have sent it back to heat it up. We were done now so I'd just take it to go. Our waiter apologized and when he brought the bill said The Pho was comped and apologized again for the breakdown in service. When I dine I like to relax and enjoy a meal With who I came with. So receiving temperature appropriate food is important. The KD does a good job. They have a diverse menu with flavorful food and great cocktails. When there is a hiccup in service or the food there is a genuine concern. Sometimes it's caught by them and others it's brought to their attention. It's how things are dealt with when those mishaps happen. The KD addresses your concerns with sincerity and want their diner to have an all around great experience. If you have not been give KD a try when in downtown Napa.

We did have a few pretty serious negatives to our experience tho . The day we pulled in, tired from a long road trip, it was pouring rain and we could not even find the front door. We walked all around the plaza containing their other businesses- coffee shop/restaurant etc and nearly gave up after walking all the way around the entire building. Once we found the front door , which is located on the Main Street the valet service ( which is required unless you want to park 3 blocks away ! ) was not very welcoming. We had lots of luggage and in the pouring rain we struggled to get our bags onto the cart, they did not help us at all. The guest services man Jorge was great and friendly and even upgraded us to a nicer room for our troubles. Once in the room we tried to hook up our Amazon fire stick to watch t.v. But the tv was flush against the wall and we could not reach the HDMI port. We called downstairs and they said they would send someone up to help. Half an hour went by and no one came so I called downstairs again , at which time i was told "our t.v.'s do not accommodate that' . That is a total lie , any tv with an HDMI port can be used with a fire stick, we guessed they were just too lazy/ busy to come up. The tv was very large , but was not even a smart tv . What the heck ???? Even a basic motel has a smart tv. We went down to the lobby bar to have some drinks and a snack . The hostess in the restaurant said we could sit anywhere in the lobby and someone would help us. We waiting for 20 minutes and no one even acknowledged us so we left . Other people had food and drinks so I don't know what that was about ..... We decided to just eat dinner on the rooftop and be done with this experience. The hostess was very uninspiring about her job and seated us. The dinner service was decent , it was pouring rain and we got a bit drizzled on between the louvres of the rooftop awning but overall dinner was ok. Due to the "snobby feel" of most of the staff and the lack of t.v. Options i would probably not stay here again. It's a shame because it was a nice location.

I recommend the reader staying elsewhere if you have any valuable items. My story below. We stayed at the Archer Hotel Napa mid December 2025. When departing the property, I left my Stetson cowboy hat in the room ($1K+). Realizing this the next day, I contacted the Archer Hotel who informed me that nothing was reported yet (with a promise for a follow up notice). After 3 weeks of silence, I reached out again and was told that staff had not found the hat in the room. I must point out that the hat was packed in a special-purpose large box; given the size, special packing, value, and nature of the item, it is inconceivable that it would have been discarded as trash. Evidently, it was stolen. I then escalated this issue to management who mostly ignored my requests (I can share various emails for those who care). I did learn that there is security footage but access or review of it was denied (and one would wonder why that was not done in December following my first call?). This makes it evident that management (GM Michael Pace and Director of Operations Patricia Wilson) prefer to turn a blind eye and as such indirectly approves of staff holding on to left-behind items of value. Again: this is theft. I am now left with filing a report with the Napa Police Department.

It's so amazing to go to a place and then go back to work (part-time job) and have someone ask you about that specific line of wines. The charcuterie board was lovely with the perfect amount of food for the three of us though nothing on it was overly impressive. The salad was quite good though and perfectly light following the board. Service was good, the bartender was friendly and talkative though it seemed as though the rest of the staff was a bit all over the place as there was no clear waiter or host. Ambiance is great though, for a hotel restaurant it's what you would expect but no complaints whatsoever. Overall there is definitely better food in Napa but if you're staying at the Westin definitely give Bank a try.
