Needed a new 1/4 inch socket wrench that was cheap and not from harbor freight looked online and sears had the lowest prices on a craftsman set. I ended up going to this one at the south shore plaza and got exactly what I needed for under $20. Decent selection could probably stock up a little more but was okay for with what they had employees were very friendly prices were good overall good experience and got what I needed.

Early yesterday morning I put some laundry in the washing machine, it filled up with water and then.....nothing. Uh oh. Hub called to the scene and assessment was made that the washer had finally died. I wasn't particularly sad as we have had this washer and dryer combo for a looong time. It came with us from our Beacon Hill condo where we lived many moons ago prior to buying this house. Shopping isn't what I had planned for this gorgeous Sunday but I have been wanting a new washer and dryer for some time and I've been waiting for one or the other of them to finally bite the dust. I'm a laundry nerd; I actually enjoy doing laundry so the hunt for new appliances had a certain appeal. Thankfully, I have one of those husbands who loves to research things, has had a subscription to Consumer Reports for as long as I've known him and is incredibly mechanically and engineeringly inclined...so, in anticipation of this washer's demise, he had already done some homework. Last night he was up late checking to see which stores would have the best price on what we were looking for and it was Sears. Anyone who knows me, knows how much I HATE malls, however off to the Braintree mall and the Sears therein we went. I would have given this review 5 stars but sadly the moment we looked interested in the machines, we were approached by Ernie. He was an amiable enough chap but within a minute hub and I both realized he had no idea what he was talking about. When we know more about the washers and dryers than the salesperson, that's not a good sign. Hub was well prepared but Ernie was clueless. We are not people who ever want to hurt anyone's feelings and always go out of our way to be kind. Hub was willing to stick it out but being the more hot-headed gal that I am and knowing we were about to spend $2,000 plus, I went off in search of reinforcement while my husband chatted with Ernie. What I found out was that poor Ernie had just been moved over from vacuums where he had reigned supreme for years. I was told this Sears at least, no longer has a policy whereby new employees shadow older employees to "learn the ropes". This means poor Ernie was thrown into a new appliance situation for which he was meant to be an understudy but was suddenly expected to be the star. We were rescued by Nancy who has been in washers and dryers for 25 years, if you can imagine that. We think it all went down with the least amount of embarrassment for Ernie although sadly these folks are on commission so he did lose out on that account. We ended up getting a Samsung energy efficient washer and dryer that includes such spectacular options as steam cleaning and refreshing, a "hand" washing option and all kinds of other cool features. It uses considerably less than half the amount of water that our old washer did. And according to Nancy, using High Efficiency detergent ( I have to now look for that label on the detergent I buy) means that we will use approximately 2 tablespoons per load. The set gets delivered on Tuesday and laundry times will be even better than ever for me. Meanwhile, I wish Ernie the best...I know he'll learn the differences amongst the Bosch, the Samsung, the LG and all the rest in due time. In the meanwhile, thank you Nancy for saving the day.

Sears delivery on my porch for six days so far. As of 6/16/21

The absolute worst service that I have ever encountered. Sears at one time was an excellent department store to shop in. I have today read the reviews for the first time. I whole heartedly agree with some of them. I have a washing machine sitting on my porch that was delivered via of Sears, six days ago. The old washer is still in my house, broken, For the past week I have spoken to Sears Customer Service in China, Japan, the Philippines, and other countries., without resolution. Never will I shop Sears in Braintree Mass. again, nor any other state, or country.

I purchased a gas stove at Sears in Braintree and ran into problems when I went to get it installed by my plumber.

It's not a "SuperTarget" but they do have groceries here including some dairy, some produce and a bunch of frozen plus aisles of dry/canned/boxed goods. It took some searching to find what I wanted - V8 - but I managed to find a multi-pack that Mrs. K. was wanting. And while here, I picked up some cashews and some chips for the road. Easy to check out in this brightly lit and well operated Target. [Review 1119 of 2025 - 1264 in Massachusetts - 24672 overall]

Since i consider myself an excellent shopper and know when an item is reasonable to purchase I try to make sure I take advantage of the product listed! Today I noticed some items that family can use and it came along with a $5 Gift Card if you purchased 3, so I did I looked at the shelf price and it was posted $8.99! So, I went to pay my item and was very quiet at the checkout and noticed that my receipt had the items at $9.99. But, I remembered it was $8.99 on the shelve! I went to Customer Service and pointed the discrepancy and showed her the photo I took to verify the amount! She was friendly and quickly gave me the difference plus tax! BOTTOM LINE.....everyone should always check their receipts even though the shelve says one amount, scanning might be higher! Know what your buying and it's cost! If I did not check I would have lost over $3.00 to Target!

A small cup can easily be shared with three people because the flavor is that decadent. The candy bars are also amazing and you can tell they are made with care. I will say the medium bar has gotten a bit smaller since they first opened, but it is still delicious all the same. I was really excited to see that they now sell the pistachio cream to take home. That was a pleasant surprise and I will definitely be going back to buy a jar to keep at home. A great stop if you want something rich, unique, and worth the calories.

Not just here but many places. times can be tough. Usually i like to pop in for some plain tees from time to time and some sweaters or joggers. But i noticed after the first wash they usually shrink on me a good amount even following the laundry care instructions. The pants watch what you're buying, a lot of the pants don't have zippers but rather buttons (big no thanks for me). The sizing is a bit on the snugger size so i would size up if you're a larger person. I have a handful of tees that after a few washes developed tears or holes. So for me, I've stopped shopping here in general, but their hoodies have held up pretty well.

No one greeted customers, explained which registers were open, or acknowledged anyone waiting. To make matters worse, after I had already completed my shopping, I was told the store had run out of bags and asked if I wanted to purchase a $3 reusable bag for my items. Customers should be informed about that before they begin shopping, not at checkout after spending money and waiting in line. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional.

To my surprise upon returning home one of the girl that's had rang me up (Hailey and or Chonca) had put in clothes that were not mine and had taken out two items of mine. No big deal mistakes happen it's a busy time of year. I gave them a call explaining the situation the girl on the phone was very nice and even offered to put the items they had removed on hold to help me for when I returned to the store. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have a mail back system considering I live nearly an hour and half away. Upon returning the the store about 1 week later as I had explained to the girl on the phone I would be doing. I would learn some news that was quite shocking. The first thing they had done was remove my items from hold and sold the remaining items in my size. They also informed me that they had given me the wrong receipt and couldn't verify what else they charged me for. Huge red flag for a commission based store. They were only able to take one return in the end which equals less then the amount of gas it took me to return to the store. The associate Krista who was helping me with the return clearly had little knowledge of the systems and was little to no help. All in all I'm extremely disappointed with the service and I won't be coming back. As far as I'm concerned they are crooked for not supplying me with information necessary to prove they didn't rob me of my money.
