I would give 0 for this, but I couldn't. I had a Sears Repair service for my Washer, and they suggested me to buy a Sears Home Warranty. I purchased the Warranty, then I had to call in for my Microwave oven. The independent contractor came, and couldn't fix it, and said they will send me a check for the replacement. It has been since 4/9/2024, I had made 9 different calls, to the Service department, and they said they have escalated the issue, but I still have no check. Each time I call, the agent nicely says he/she is sorry, and promise me to handle this case. But I still have nothing. This is a scam, and my money was wasted. I am still paying for the service without getting any service. Don't buy Sears Home Warranty, it is useless and bunch of liars work there. They initially came out to my home April 1 2024 through my home warranty company AHS American Home Shield due to my malfunctioning microwave. It is now May 12 2024 and they have set up 3 appointments to come fix a "fuse" and did not show up for either of them. The last appointment was set up by a Supervisor at AHS and they still never came. If I could give a 0 I would. They collected that up front fee and have not come back to finish the contracted job. One of the worst experiences with a business I've ever had. They refuse to refund me for a service they never performed. If you call them for appliance service, you get a quote, and if you decide to proceed they charge you upfront for parts and repairs, even though the service may not be performed for a week or more. So I did this. In less than 24 hours I cancelled the repair. They STILL sent the parts to me directly even after I cancelled. I sent the parts back of course, but they still refuse to refund my credit card. I told them specifically the model and part that needed replacing. I was leaving for vacation in two days. After three appointments over 10 days my dishwasher still doesn't work. You can't even an appointment when you tell me that they'll be there between 7am to 6 pm halt your whole day for them only to get there at 8:30 pm for 2 of the 3 appointments. Only for him to lie and say that he tested it. You can't test the dishwasher without having dirty dishes in it so just turning on and the lights coming on doesn't mean that the thing cleans dishes. read more

Do not use this company! First of all, they are not Sears. This company is actually A & E Factory Services. I chose them due to the Sears name, the way it is listed on Google, We had a technician out to diagnose the problem with our Jenn-air stove. He stated that we needed new control board. We paid up front for the part and labor. When it did not solve the problem we immediately contacted A & E. After many hours and numerous phone calls they finally sent out a second technician This second technician stated that the first tech had mis-diagnosed the initial problem. That the repair required a different part. And it would cost us several more hundred dollars, plus labor, to be paid before they would order the new part. We declined, paying out more money, so the tech left. So, despite the fact that their invoice stated that we had a 30 day guarantee now we are out $713.98. read more
