Wow just wow! Sears has gone way down hill fast. We purchased a brand new Kenmore washer & dryer recently. Had them installed thru Sears. The install team screwed up by not tightening one of the screws in the back panel. Thing blows the breaker in the wall and burns out all the wires. Could have started a fire. Now we have had no dryer for weeks. Their customer service just sends you from department to department in India. Seriously can't believe how shitty this company has become. Came here cause no one on the phone seems to be able to do shit to fix a big problem. Twitter & Facebook will be next to share our horror story of dealing with a failed company read more

had ice build up in bottom of freezer. they charged $129 just to come out and look at it, but will incorporate it into the total bill. total bill was $340 to pour hot water down a drain. now our ice dispenser does not work. called them back to come back out and fix the dispenser that the previous repairman did something to make it not work. on the info they texted me about the new appointment, they wanted to charge me another $129 to look at it. i called them back and told them that i was not paying that diagnostic fee again. victor (aka whatever) stated i was right and he would correct it and send me a revision without the fee. as of an hour later i have not seen the revised invoice. read more

Sears Warranty service has always been the best. We have maintained a warranty on all of our major appliances and never an out of pocket expense. In 20 years have never had to call them back for 2nd time due to their not fixing it right the first time. Only way to go read more

Sears deserves a zero !!!!There no words to describe the awful customer service I received from the people Sears hired to take there appliance repair calls. The company is out of India and the reps could not speak nor could they write correctly. We went without a stove for a month because they mIled our part to the wrist g address, had my name and email incorrect as well. When I gave them my info the rep repeated my address and name correctly..but apparently wrote it down all wrong.. the day repair was to arrive I had some one home all day and they never showed up. Called the rep and they said the repairman went to my home and no one was there. Asked directly address they had erring address..I then repeated my address and the lady said they would reschedule repairman. Then are part they mailed was lost . I called rep back and asked again what address they had , and they never changed my address I drove to the house who had my part.. brought it home and my husband put it in himself. I prepaid for part and for instalation ..and we are out money! I will never buy from Sears or use them to repair my appliances!!! read more

Sears home warranty is not a good value. I have been trying to get a gas grill repaired for over a month. Literally hours on the phone, with lots of run around. Three trips by a technician and still the grill does not work. The last scheduled repair, in which the tech gave me a window from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm was a no show. So I stayed home for NOTHING! The grill is just a year old and is junk!! read more

The technician failed to realize I had submitted an answer to "tell us what you think". I was called by Corporate Office sears and told that the repairperson would be returning to complete the job. Repairperson still felt he should not have had to do this simple job and it was something we could do. After a brief conversation he realized the Corporate office stated it was his job and he did complete the job with a satisfactory rating. Just sad he had to come back to do it and still felt he shouldn't of had to do his job. read more

To say I am disappointed in their service would never be adequate. I only wish there was negative stars. I spent a month trying to get them to repair my dishwasher. After 7 appointments 4 of which the tech never showed up or called I am done trying to work with these folks. The call center was a disaster and was never helpful or respectful to my concerns or needs. I will never use Sears again. read more

I am beyond upset. I have had the parts to my washing machine sitting on my table for weeks and every time the technician is scheduled to show up, he doesn't. I have paid over 100.00 at the laundromat when I shouldn't have to. I don't even want this washer anymore. I don't need the warranty that I purchased on my refrigerator and microwave because sears doesn't hold up their end of the deal. The whole warranty is a lie. read more

I am not sure if this is for the Corpus Christi office's fault, but this is about the customer service line. I have had numerous problems with my washer and dry unit. Each time that I have called I have waited at least 2-3 weeks for a tech to come out and just look at my washer. My washer recently spent over 2 months being broken, one because the appointment was set so far out and the other due to the hurricane. (no ones fault) They ordered parts and fixed it, less than 2 weeks later it is broken again with the same problem. I called and they set an appointment a month away. I sat on the phone with a person for over an hour explaining that if they order parts again, I will be again, nearly 2 months without a washer. They told me that there was nothing they could do, no one else I could talk to as they do not have the manager's or dispatch's number. Basically a dead-end. They told me they had me on a list just in case someone cancels; however, I was on that list before and was not notified of an earlier appointment that I found online and had changed it myself. I have had my appointments canceled without me knowing, I have had appointments moved without me knowing, and a tech called in sick early in the morning and I was not notified until 3pm which was after I took off of work and was waiting for him to come. I am beyond frustrated with their customer services and my unit has spent most of the year being broken mainly because I wait months for it to be fixed. To top everything off, I do not qualify for a new washer. One plus side, the techs are always awesome. read more
