I had an appointment scheduled for today, said between 8 and 5pm. I took time off work. Sat here, watched as the estimated time went from 9-11 to 12-1:30. Watched 1:30 come and pass and it says we are on the way you are next. I kept the door open and eagerly awaited arrival to fix my air conditioner. All of a sudden i get confirmation that my change day for a visit request had been approved and that they would be there May 14, 2026 between 8 and 5pm. What a crock of shit! So i tried calling them, only got ahold of automated crap. Hunted and hunted, but nope. Couldn't call and ask me? Couldn't say hey I'm not gonna make it today? Nothing. I see he has a 5 star review, this Corey, but based on this I have to rate them zero stars. Terrible and pathetic service. They were suppose to fix my microwave last month but stated that they ordered new microwave. I was going out of town for 3 weeks. So I waited and scheduled it for Sept 08. On Sept 8 I get a message that it's cancelled for that day and now reschedule the appointment. I rescheduled it for today 9/11/2025. He came in at my home, looked at my microven via American HomeShield, he said that he had recommended replacement microwave but nothing was ordered or delivered to my house. Today he came in but right after entering my house he said oh I ordered replacement last time let me make some phone calls and come back. But he simply left from outside and never came back to update. I called him and he said oh your insurance company will call you. No one from my insurance called me yet. Sears simply has pathetic service, they didn't take care of my issue yet despite it's been over a month. read more

Matthew did a great job, showed up on time, figured out the problem, ordered the part and set up a return visit on the spot! He was able to return two days sooner than originally scheduled, which was great! Repair was completed, he explained how long and why we needed to wait to use the dishwasher, due to the type of repair and was gone, very quick!! After needing two repairs made to this dishwasher, I'm very happy we purchased the extended warranty!! read more

The refrigerator door seals were not sealed completely. The refrigerator has 4 doors and seals were replaced on 3 doors. Tech was pleasant but didn't do details very well. read more

Let's start by saying the technician was great. I told him what was wrong with the refrigerator and he knew exactly what was wrong. The part was not on his truck like inventory said, so he ordered the part on a Friday, it came on a Tuesday, and I waited another week before it was installed on a Wednesday. Now, for the rest. They charged $119.00 for a $65.00 part on Sears direct, $290.00 for labor. Thats nuts. They rescheduled my return appointment because the technician was sick, told me 8:00-8:30 the next day, he was not here until 11:30. Again, not his fault. Sears has no phone number where you could call a human, everything is just robotic. I have not had to have an appliance repaired for years, and I can say I will never call Sears again. Oh, and that charge is with getting 119.00 credit for the diagnostic service. So my bill 417.00. read more

-Mr. Matthew K was the tech that came to my property. Have had a attitude before he even step foot on the property -once inside, Mr. Matthew diagnosed the problem before I had a chance to explain what going on. He inform me that the door was mis use and the hing will not close, which in turn cause the pump to be burn out. Then he left. He spend a total of 5 min infornt of the dishwasher without opening to check if the pump was actually burn out or not. I had to take two separate times off work to get the problem diagnosed and fixed. Not only did he waste my time, but due to his laziness, unprofessionalism, and inability to due his job, he made our home warranty account red flagged saying that our dishwasher was not able or worth it to be fixed because of our misuse. After the second technician came today, he opened the dishwasher and spent about 20 minutes cleaning out the line and fixed the issue no problems. He stated the problem was due to normal wear and tear. Not only did we have to hire a second technician to diagnose and fix the problem, but I have spent hours in back and forth phone calls and emails to our American home shield personnel and a new company for a different technician. I would advise a new training course be offered to Mr. Matthew K because he clearly does not know how to correctly do his job. read more

I had an appliance repair appointment scheduled for today (1-10-22), with a 8am to 5pm window, so I took a whole day off work. and guess what at 2:30 pm I received a notice it was rescheduled for 1-17-22. Sears website requires a 24 hour cancellation notice, I got a 2.5 hour notice. And the reason they gave me is that they overbooked. this is the only company I have ever used that gave a full day service window, simply ridiculous. read more

ease of scheduling wa ice but repairman came to my house less than five minutes. didn't know the difference between refirgerator and microwave. had no clue how to diagnose why my ice maker quite working. never ran the code check diagnostics I discovered on you tube. nothing asked me where is my ice maker. when I showed him he said just a minute I need to go to my car. he never returned and closed ticket. he said my door was broken, then I received email not covered. my door is not broken the code check I found and had to run myself said bad thermostat: tried to call company to ask why he never explained anything to me and just left. hung up on three times. when I finally got through to someone and explained my situation. they said they should send another tech 1-3 hours and. no one showed l, no one called. I waited two days and called back explained all over again they tried to tell me tech said door was damaged . i asked for second opinion. said someone would contact me with in 24 hours. it's been 29 and no one has called . horrible service don't purchase plan. read more

RE: Kenmore fridge. (For a property in Davenport). Sears repair is the biggest joke. Their tech NEVER even showed up...he was supposed to be at the house between noon & 2:00, when no one came, I called, and was told, "Oh, he's on the way"...by 3:00, still no tech...I called yet again..."He'll be there by 3:30....at 4:00 I called AGAIN....and again I was lied to.."He's in your neighborhood and will there momentarily. At 5:30 I called again...No Answer. I proceeded to the local Sears store and confronted the very salesman that had sold me the fridge. His response..."We don't do repairs, all of our repair worked is contracted out." That is NOT what that liar told me when I inquired about repair service when I purchased the fridge. NO MORE SEARS FOR ME !!! EVER !!! I called Zieglin's applances and their repair is top notch! Their courteous tech was right on time! I highly recommend them. read more

The refrigerator went out June 12th and it's still isn't working. Ordered parts but that didn't fix it so tech ordered something else to try again. Soon to be a 4th visit. Will it ever get taken care of? read more
