To be clear from the start, the person who replaced the part did what he was directed to do. The problem lies first of all in the person who came first made the incorrect diagnosis, requiring us to replace a part (pressure switch) that made no difference whatsoever, and cost us almost $500. after the part was replaced the washer was still malfunctioning. (wouldn't stop filling) furthermore, your customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. AI rescheduled my appointment randomly because the "part was delayed" yet the part showed up the day before my scheduled appointment. I could not reach an actual person to explain the situation. The questions to choose in your chat not did not address my situation and I could not type a question. I finally found a phone number which sometimes did not respond to my prompts ("press 1") or again, did not offer me anything in the menu that fit my situation. I could not reach a real person at any time in this process. This was a nightmare and I will never use Sears for anything again. read more

I purchased a new stove from Lowe's on Feb 1. Three weeks after delivery the oven functions ceased to work giving an F027 error meaning the control board is defective. Frigidaire set up a repair visit with Sears Appliance Repair. Three visits have been set up. They have been a no show for every one. Text reads "circumstances beyond our control." the technician confirmed the drain pump/motor was defective and that one drum piston was broken. Those were the items the virtual tech order to our residence. The tech test the unit long enough to insure it worked but he did not test it for leaks. when I ran a short wash I ended up with a room full of water. The washer is unusable in its current state. unless we want to spend an hour mopping and shop vacuuming the water up. l am quite frustrated and upset. Sears home improvement was selected by my home warranty to fix a repair on my refrigerator. July 10th they came out to order parts, and rescheduled me till the 24th. All but one of the parts arrived and the other was on back order. Sears stated it was delayed and would provide updates via text.. this did not happen. The 24th arrived and Sears did not call to inform me that this appt would not take place. So I waited around all day from 7a-6p due to poor communication. Present day- all parts have arrived, my appt time still states for July 24... and I cannot for the life of me try to connect with a representative on the phone, it is all automated. I will NEVER use this service again in my life. Poor communication, lack of efficiency, and overall a pain in my ass. I would not recommend this service AT ALL. read more

Ongoing issue since December several service calls, parts that were ordered had to wait for, didn't solve the issue. Service call Feb 1st part ordered waited until March for part and service call. Still not resolved. Today tech came out went through same song and dance. He said oh your vent..no..we even changed the venting and the issue presisted so it's not a clogged vent. This tech decided to tell our home warranty Co who finally agreed more cost effective to replace the dryer , our vent needs to be cleaned out what the heck is wrong with these people!!!@%@. Never ever again will we use Sears. We had for years however they have gone down the drain. I had to redo my original review after receiving the email from our warranty company.
