If I did not check my charges, this would have been monthly ongoing basis. I have called my credit card company to block this merchant and dispute this charge; as the studio does NOT reply back to their emails unless you are a new student or enrolling. Not a happy camper!

They are able to teach the many kids they deal with every day with humor and respect and enable their talent to blossom. Yes, my kids take classes here, and have for years, but it really is a great place. Couldn't believe it wasn't on here yet. NCDA also piloted a program where the families of the studio adopted families from nearby Camp Pendleton for Christmas (Bells of Freedom) several years ago. Last year, two huge UPS trucks and the guys in brown alongside a caravan of families made many underserved servicemen's families holiday a lovely surprise. What NCDA started benefits not only the military families but also the kids from the studio who do all the prep work and hopefully, learn a little about giving back to others. As a note, the studio also offers adult classes, both during the weekday and on evenings, for beginners and beyond. There are families that have both moms and kid(s) dancing at the yearly recital. Cuteness ensues. (Note: I'm not one of those moms).

My 3 boys attended NDA after the. Poway School District failed us, not just once, but 3 times over…read morethe course of 3 yrs. Once we were at NDA, the kids thrived. It was the best move ever. They attended NDA, finished through 8th grade and went right into Cathedral Catholic High School which was even more amazing. There were small classes, individualized instruction for some learning issues, and the classmates all grew up together. As 2 of the 3 kids had reading problems (dyslexia) their classmates were so supportive and encouraging when outside of NDA everyone was critical of these disabilities. I loved this school and the Catholic approach to education and life. I felt as if I failed as a Catholic mom, busy with life and work. But, when I fell short, NDA helped me raise them in the faith. I am so grateful. Now, as 20 something kids, they are amazing young men who are kind, responsible and who do the right thing for the right reasons.

My older daughter has enjoyed the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) track, while my little one loves the hip hop (thanks Mr. Ethan!) and ballet/jazz classes. I personally love the adult ballet classes (Ms. Caitlyn!) Another awesome afternoon at the Circus! This is our second time at Circus Vargas as it falls…read morearound my daughter's birthday and we have made it our tradition to come every year for her birthday! I noticed a few changes this year first being a new theme....Pirates! They pretty much did the same acts but changed it up to the theme including a huge pirate ship! Costumes were also all new and very well done. They brought back the motorcycle act which is my favorite! They usually do this one at the end as it's definitely a jaw dropper! This year they also did a pre-show mainly for kids ages 3-8....juggled scarves, did limbo nothing exciting for adults or older children. It was much appreciated by the parents to keep the kids occupied so they didn't have to hear "what time does the show start" 100x! Our show started on the dot at 12:30pm. Pre-show began around 12pm. I suggest getting there at least 20 min early to get a front row seat! Our show was relatively light. Parking went up a dollar to $14. I am not sure how the crowds are at the other show times but the 12:30pm show was perfect! Not a lot of people and very easy to park and leave with minimal crowds. You can easily walk to your car to grab something like a snack or a coat at intermission. They never asked for tickets on the way back in. I am glad we started this cool tradition with my kids and they look forward to the circus coming into town every year!

The service was good, however the chairs need some repair because my call button didn't work. So I initially thought that the service was taking a long time. My husband's button worked and they came quickly after we pressed his. They have a decent menu, but I wish that they had some more candy options. My favorite is Junior Mints and it's not on the menu, sadly. I like coming here on occasion but they get 4 stars because they could really use some upgrades or refurbishing. Some bigger screens would be a nice upgrade too.

On my last two visits within the same month, the AC was not working properly. During The Odyssey, I sat through nearly three hours as the theater continued to get warmer. With the humidity we've been experiencing in San Diego, it was extremely uncomfortable. The same issue occurred during a movie I saw three weeks earlier, and the visit before that as well. At this point, I'm not sure if the AC is actually broken or if Cinepolis is simply not prioritizing the repair. If you're planning to see a movie during these hot summer months, I'd recommend calling ahead to confirm the AC is working in your theater. And don't be fooled by the freezing lobby--the individual theaters can be a completely different story.
