The vibe here is cocktail den, cozy, intimate, dark. It's like a sexy little vixen in the cocktail world with an air of mystery. The menu was very creative, I mean unique combos with premium spirits including absinthe and the bartender was helpful in that she would suggest a drink based upon spirits & profile you prefer. We each had a cocktail and Ithey were both delicious. We tried the I pity a fool, which is Jamison whiskey, peach, lemon, and black pepper. Also, El Cuerno de Aire , an Espadin Mezcal, lemon, and blackberry combo. Yum, Next time I'm in Key West I am definitely coming back here. Don't miss out on this one.

I wouldn't say the place was packed but there were not any open seats at the bar. I posted up the best I could but for the better part of 15 minutes both bartenders didn't even come to my side of the bar. I then moved to the other side and waited another 10 minutes to be served (at which point the bartender said "Didn't I just serve you?" Um, no, you most definitely did not. This place has two saving graces: 1) A water jug full of cold water for the taking, off in the corner. Love that. 2) A popcorn machine that had DELICIOUS popcorn! YES. If you can manage to get a beverage then I think you won't mind Green Parrot's (very) relaxed atmosphere and delightful little perks. My takeaway is for the staff to mix in some work to go along with their chatting with the regulars...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Seaside Cafe at the Mansion in Key West for the second time and it was an absolute delight! You really can't beat the views and location that this restaurant offers. I highly recommend going around sunset if you want to see a breathtaking view while enjoying your dinner. The service was great and our server was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. We weren't starving so we opted to share a pizza with half lobster and half corn. I got a frozen key lime pie drink as well and it was fantastic. I added a floater and it definitely packed a punch! I would highly recommend the Seaside Cafe at the Mansion to anyone visiting Key West. The atmosphere, service, and food are all top-notch and it's clear that a lot of care and attention goes into every aspect of the dining experience. Seaside Cafe was absolutely fantastic! During our vacation in the area, we chose it for my mom's birthday dinner, and the outdoor seating by the ocean couldn't have been more perfect. The food was simply amazing. My family of 5 indulged in their coconut shrimp, ahi salad, mushroom truffle pizza, and lobster pizza, all of which were incredibly delicious. And we finished with no leftovers!! It was that good! The staff were attentive and sweet, making sure our experience was memorable from start to finish. Their hospitality truly added to the charm of the place. I already know I'll be craving Seaside Cafe long after our vacation ends. We saw this restaurant advertised in a local magazine. They boast they have the best lobster pizza. They also advertised they have gluten free pizza. So we ordered a gluten free lobster pizza. It is amazing! So good. I thought lobster pizza didn't sound good but since we were in key West I decided to try it. My husband doesn't really care for gluten free anything and he really liked this pizza. The staff are exceptional and so is the environment. I highly recommend this pizza. read more

During our meal, Louie came out to check on everyone and told us we should call him "Big Louie." He even promised that if we ever shouted his name while in trouble around town, he would come bail us out, just once. As fate would have it, my girlfriend and I were later surrounded by seven seashell-wielding gangsters, two suspicious pelicans, and a man dressed entirely in inflatable flamingos. The gangsters demanded our wallets, our leftovers, and proof that we had properly enjoyed the ocean view. Just as I prepared to defend our honor, I shouted, "BIG LOUI!" into the night. A foghorn blasted, a nearby conch shell began playing the opening notes of "Eye of the Tiger," and a black 1969 Chevy Camaro came roaring around the corner. It had flame decals, orange dice in the mirror, and what appeared to be a tiny disco ball hanging from the antenna. Big Louie stepped out wearing a sequined tuxedo and carrying two limited-edition baseball bats signed by Babe Ruth, Elvis Presley, and possibly one of the pelicans. He tossed me one, struck a heroic pose, and together we performed a ten-minute, perfectly choreographed defensive dance routine that sent the gangsters fleeing into the mangroves. The pelicans applauded. The inflatable flamingo joined our party. Big Louie charged us exactly one rescue and then disappeared into the night as confetti fell from the sky. It was a wonderful experience.

When someone is trying to book a Lucy experience with a price to match maybe a touch of general professionalism would be helpful if not expected. Needless to say we decide to skip that. The lobster bisque was silky and delicious. The Paella was a disappointment and lacked much flavor that usually is expected with that dish.
