I loved all clever names of the menu items and thought the spark questions on the tablet was a great touch that helped lead the conversation even more. We recently went to Better Than Sex. Here is what I thought. Atmosphere: The inside of the restaurant is dimly lit with red and black theme throughout. It supposed to give romantic vibes. We were sat in their back room and I found it very hard to see inside the space. I get it's the vibe they're going for, I just didn't like it. Service: This is where I have to really knock down my rating. The service was terrible. We were seated right away and our waitress explained the menu to us and recommendations on what to order. She asked if we wanted alcohol beverages and once we said no, it felt like her whole demeanor changed. First, we asked for water and she forgot about them and we had to remind her two more times for water. We had just come off walking all over Key West and were very thirsty. We finally got the waters and it took her 10 minutes to get back to us for us to order. We ordered our food no problems. We then asked for a refill of waters two more times because she forgot. She just seemed very forgetful. Food: We thoroughly enjoyed our food. We ordered the 'Chocomilk' as a non-alcoholic drink and it was delicious. It felt like an elevated glass of chocolate milk. For dessert, we ordered their 'Peanut Butter Perversion' which was delicious. It was very rich but delicious. My husband and I shared it and it was plenty for two people. Thanks to our good friends who live in Key West, they surprised us and made reservations for us all to come here after dinner. We were sat together in an intimate booth for four. Lighting is dim and walls are painted red. We were all given iPads to view the menu and choose our drinks or dessert. Very romantic and a perfect place to celebrate an anniversary or a date night. The menu offers amazing desserts, wine and specialty cocktails. We went for dessert and our friends enjoyed a dessert and a glass of wine complete with a chocolate "rim job". Service was great and everyone working there plays into the role of being sexy and seductive. So many choices on the menu but we finally decided to try the Popcorn Pimp Cheesecake and the Cookie Nookie Pie. Oh my, just melt in my mouth goodness. Second time coming to this location, we visited last year for my wife's birthday and we returned last night again. They sat us in the back in this Speak-Easy side which was very elegant and set the mood quite well. My espresso martini and my wife's coffee drink were both amazing. Our desserts were lovely. My wife had the berry bondage which was light and fluffy and not too heavy at all. I got the Oreo bread pudding with the cheesecake ice cream. Both were great. Only thing preventing a 5* review, unfortunately, was my server. On date night, having a male server in an environment like this just did not help the mood at all. His voice was loud and boisterous in the area where we valued quiet and comfort. His sex jokes were awkward and uncomfortable. And even by itself, the champagne was very very tasty. We shared the Morning After for our meal. It ruined grilled cheeses everywhere for me forever. THIS is a grilled cheese! Holy flaming hell it was one of the most decadent and delicious things I've ever eaten and probably will ever eat. Sheer perfection. Our server was excellent and gave us the perfect amount of advice and space. On our way out, my mom wanted to show me the back speakeasy-esque room which I loved. We spoke to the manager before leaving to thank her for such a spectacular experience, to which she exceeded even further by taking us around to show us more of the photographs. She gave us a brief history of the artists, as well as the owner who treasures chandeliers as much as I do. It was so interesting and fun to hear about! We really appreciated it. They get 50 stars regardless, but I do want to say there is one thing that could make it truly perfect here: enforce a dress code and make it 21+. This is too mature a place for kids and a family all in their flip-flops and board shorts are a stain on an otherwise stunning setting. They just don't belong. It's not asking much for people to look fancy when dining in a fancy place. This will be a must-stop each time I'm near one for sure. What an exquisite place! Their focus is on making the best desserts that are even better than sex, and they 100% delivered. Right off the bat, the mood is set with darker lighting, private booths, and romantic decorations. Great for a date night. They really know how to elevate wine and champagne here with their use of chocolate and caramel on the rims of the glasses. We tried four different drinks - Sex Appeal, French Kiss, Super Soaker, and Lickin' Love - and they were all so delicious. They pick the perfect sauce and topping to complement the drink. While they were all great, the French Kiss was my favorite as the caramel and sugar went perfectly with the champagne. Love a good cake, so we naturally had to try The Fourgasm - a sampler of their red velvet cheesecake, chocolate stout cake, carrot cake, and cheesecake. All super rich and so delicious. Hard to pick a favorite, but I think their carrot cake just inched out the others. Definitely make a reservation. We planned to, life happened, and we got lucky enough to get a walk-in table during the week. However, while they were getting our table set up, every walk-in after us got turned away. Ok, soooo in my previous review at the end I wrote one and done for me, but here I am updating my own words. Since moving to FLA Key West has been very manageable (flying not necessary) and we've driven down a few times for weekend visits. This time we brought our daughter and her boyfriend that are visiting us from NJ. My wife booked a few things to do since they have never been to the Keys. On the itinerary was dessert time at BTS. As always reservations are suggested but not required and depending on the time of the year you come down you may not have too long of a wait if you're a walk in. We had reservations for four and were seated within 5 minutes upon arrival. Another group of 4 that didn't have reservations were told it was a 50 minute wait. Our waitress was splendid and went over the beverage and desserts on the menu. Everything looked delicious and decadent. We took our time to decide what we wanted as all their desserts have a presentation that inspires thoughts of a French cafe overlooking the Eiffel Tower, well maybe not, but I can picture what desserts in France may look and taste like and these could come close. So without further delay I will say that everyone really enjoyed their selection, including myself who has to watch their sugar intake. At some point I'm pretty sure that we'll be rounding out here again as my wife loves this place, and if you have a sweet tooth and enjoy something delicious and different you would too. read more

However when I went inside to pick up my order, it did look really cool! There is street parking and it took me over ten minutes to find a spot to pick up my order, so that was kind of annoying...
