Fish of the day: mahi-mahi sandwich with fries.
    Cally A.

A great place for people watching, waterfront view. Lots of activity and a great place to watch & feed the fish near the boats. I ordered a key lime mojito, conch chowder & fish of the day sandwich. Everything was delicious. My friend had the chicken tenders appetizer and it was some of the tastiest fried chicken I've had in a while. She said the ribs were yummy too. Our server had perfect timing with out food. Loved viewing the activities on the dock.

We have been coming here for two decades - we even had our rehearsal dinner here. Figured time for a review. This is a Key West staple. It is always fresh and delicious. Our favorites are the coconut shrimp and stuffed shrimp. All of the bartenders are great, but our all time favorite is Doug. He is always friendly and welcoming. Great location and chill music - a solid choice on the island.

I want to be clear that there is no indoor seating (some of the reviews are misleading). The dining area is under a roof and they have a few fans spread out to try to help keep the air flowing but I would not recommend for a hot day. We were a party of 10 and they automatically add a 20% tip (not uncommon in Florida) but I don't think it was deserved as the service had issues. Our waiter, Mike G., was attentive at the beginning however didn't check on us much after we ordered. I would not recommend the Conch Fritters, one person ordered them but when they arrived they were essentially burnt. She told Mike she didn't want them and just asked to return them, but Mike said he didn't know if he could take them off the ticket and had to ask a manager. Instead of removing them as requested he just put in another order for them, and told us while running to attend another table so we didn't have a chance to respond. The conch fritters didn't arrive until after everyone finished eating and were visibly burnt on the outside. Overall the place was okay. However, if you are going to charge automatic tip, make sure your staff lives up to it.

We heard of this place and yes it was good my wife had the pasta and it was good and I had a burger and it was good just a but on the salty side but good. Service was good can't complain super busy at the time we ate but they treated us good though. A bit pricy though to be honest.

This is a fun and casual place to enjoy great seafood. My husband and I were sitting by the bar. The bartender is super friendly and efficient. He got our drinks right away. Mojito is ok, not too much alcohol, it has more of the syrup. Oysters and shrimps are fresh. The shrimps are quite big and well seasoned. Conch fritters are not greasy and comes with good dipping sauce. Tropical salad comes with good amount of chopped mangoes. I also enjoyed my crab cakes.

Ate at Conch Republic while on vacation in Key West. This place was recommended to us and was some what disappointing. We arrived in the middle of their happy hour, so naturally the place was packed FYI-There are only certain tables available near the bar & of course the bar itself that you're able to sit for their HH opportunity. We were a party of four and a very nice group offered us their spot as they were leaving. We had to grab it quickly as a few other people were also trying to swoop in! So, we had to clean the table (didn't mind) and set aside their drinks and bill. Then, we waited, waited and waited until FINALLY our server arrived. She did express her gratitude for us having cleared the space. We ordered our drinks and the crab cakes as an appetizer. That didn't take to long. The crab cakes were average. Nothing like my grandmother made being from the east coast! I wasn't impressed with them at all. I had the conch soup, which is suppose to be like a manhattan clam chowder. Luke warm at best. Extremely bland and for $13?! It was not worth the price or portion. Another family member tried the bacon wrapped shrimp and seemed to really enjoy it. Another member in our group had the burger and it was just average. The oysters were delicious, but not hard to mess that up! Over priced for a below average dining experience. Would not be a place we would return. That said, the atmosphere is wonderful and the view from the restaurant (especially in the evening) was lovely.

Amazing key lime pina colada! I love a pina colada and this once was next level. Pricey, but so good. Tried the conch fritters as well - I think I may be allergic though I'm not allergic to other shellfish... left feeling itchy and hives, but wa gone in an hour. Won't say the fritters were worth the reaction and happy to pass on those again... a little chewy and would have been happier with a regular hush puppy: Staff at the bar were just fantastic on Thanksgiving day - friendly, smiling and on top of everything!

Cool location. Lots of outdoor seating with views of the water. Service was OK at first but after we said we were there for a drink and one appetizer it became distant and curt. The Key Lime mojito was very sweet. The Stuffed Mushroom Martinique was overpriced. $17 for 3 mushrooms. They were tasty but the weird sauce on the side was not good.

Most importantly the food here is delicious, my wife tried the St Kitts pasta and it was very tasty and plentiful. It is enough for two, especially if you have appetizers like we did. We had the baked oysters and they were delicious except the cheese on top wasn't melted. We also had the stone crab claws since they were in season. My wife also had a skinny margarita which she said was watered down and she also tried the rum punch which was much better. For dinner I had the fried Red Snapper and it was also delicious and it also was plentiful. We both took our meals home and it was enough for breakfast the next morning. So our server Heather was really nice, she greeted us with a warm smile and she was very patient and helpful. So lastly that brings me to the rest of the staff and their customer service. I'm disabled and on a scooter and when I asked how to gain access to the building two employees said they didn't know, finally one server pointed me to the ramp. When inside I asked where was the host stand and another two employees just pointed which made me feel like I was bothering them. And the food runner basically threw our food at us. He didn't ask who had what, he just threw our plates at us and never asked who had what. The food is the most important reason to dine here so I would definitely eat here but be mindful of poor customer service.

    Blackened mahi mahi burger

Back again for the seafood and today they had swordfish their fresh catch. Though good, the mahi mahi was the star of the show. I had to drop my review down due to our inattentive server. I had to ask twice for water, she left us hanging after we asked for the check, and my order was not right (please see swordfish pics) in comparison to the mahi mahi burger. Both myself and my hubby ordered blackened dishes (mahi mahi, shrimp and swordfish) but mine looked grilled not blackened and when I questioned the server she told me it was blackened (false!) my husband I both agreed it was not made as requested. That did bring down my review but not enough to warrant a no return.

Large waterfront restaurant with all open air seating (during nice weather) located on the Marina. Service wasn't bad, but the server wasn't very personable and didn't check back at all during the meal. Our meals were good however the veggies were cold.

Stumbled on this place after leaving Mallory Square. Beautiful marina/water views. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We were sat quickly even though the place was packed. It's outdoor, covered dining. It was a hot day but they have fans and AC. It was comfortable. Definitely a come back to place.

There was live music playing, pool tables, and even some video games, so there's plenty to keep you and the family entertained while you hang out. They also have a merch area with hoodies, stickers, and other souvenirs if you want to take a little piece of the experience home. And knowing it's one of the oldest bars in the Keys just adds to the charm and history of the place. The service was quick, you walk up to the bar and order then find a place to sit. Super chill and laid back. One fun thing you have to try is tossing a quarter into the fish's mouth outside... test your luck and see if you can land it! Can't forget the drinks! The rum punch is to die for... super refreshing and perfect for the Key West heat. Overall, such a fun stop if you're in town. Definitely worth checking out! Fun fact: - it used to be a morgue and ice house back in the day. it also used to be the original home of Sloppy Joes, before they moved to Duvall St.

I've had dessert in the desert near Area 51, And underground in Antarctica, far from the sun. I've had it in graveyards, beneath moonlight so fair, And even in a dessert restaurant, yes, I've had dessert there! At Better Than Sex, the Fever was mine, And it tasted so splendid, so luscious, divine. I tried one of their special coffees as well, And it was so delicious, I nearly swooned under its spell. But the night's grandest moment, the finest display, Was when our waiter arrived with the desserts on a tray. He looked straight in my eyes as he named each delight, With a confidence both curious and wonderfully bright. My dessert was a huge phallus, impressive and grand, With two giant balls resting beneath it in hand. It was covered in "splooge sauce," a curious sweet stream, A dessert of such drama it belonged in a dream! I truly enjoyed this place and would gladly return If I lived nearby, where the sweet candles burn.
