Then, they were playing extremely sexually explicit music on the speakers ("me so hor** me love you long time -women moaning noises-) Next, our food took an unusually long time, we got a burger and fettuccini Alfredo. The burger was ok but the fettuccini was not able to be eaten, it was literally swimming in sauce: we tried to take some out which the excess was over a cup and still drenched, you could drink it. I also discovered a hair buried in the sauce after I already ate some and as I was trying to scoop out the sauce. it was $20 down the toilet for my meal. Then the waitress dismissed us and ignored that we brought up we couldn't even finish it sadly. She just gave us the check and walked away and ignored us after we tried to nicely mention it a few times. The lady at the counter asked how it was and we admitted pretty disappointing, but then she sort of made a joke about it instead ("some people like a lot of sauce"). She gave us a "small discount" of $2 off a $50 check and then readded $3 for the credit card fee. Then my mom and I walked in the parking lot and she stepped in a huge puddle of sewage coming from the building at the side of the restaurant near the end of the sidewalk. That was really just the grand finale. Really terrible service. It just stinks to work so hard for your money just to throw it out.

They had old built in small juke boxes at each table, which do not work of course but led to some fun reminiscing. I really can't say enough about the friendly and prompt service. This was a place where all of the servers work together. We were a group of 5 and I think 4 different people grabbed different parts of our drinks. It had a real family feel, and you could watch the cooks making your breakfast. I ordered french toast with fresh banana and strawberries. It was very good. This was a special, and it directly indicated the fresh fruit which I like and lived up to the description. My husband got a more traditional eggs and toast and sausage and he enjoyed it as well. I def recommend this as a place for good home cooked breakfast when visiting the area, and would definitely come back on a return trip!

I got the pork belly skillet, which included shredded pork belly served with eggs on top of shredded potato hash. The pork was marinated well, and tender. The shredded hash browned potatoes were surprisingly well seasoned and went well with the eggs. Prices are a bit up there for a diner, but at least the service was good.

My husband ordered a broccoli cheese omelette and was hard pressed to find any of either ingredient. We can overlook these things because they are included in our package. The air conditioning is going to be repaired but for now- there are ugly portable residential units. Lights are burned out also- it just looks sloppy. Poor experience here compared to other years. On my last day, service was so incredibly rude I did not leave a tip. I've only ever done that one other time in my life due to rudeness. I had beverages and ate heartily in order to skip lunch and none of my checks exceeded $15. The location can't be beat. It's right at the beginning of the boardwalk and accessible from outside. If You're staying in the hotel it's even easier. In season they have both outdoor and indoor dining. They have comfortable booths along the window with a view of the ocean. And You could see the ocean from any table in the restaurant. I am here preseason and the seasonal staff from the Baltic states that come here to work in the Wildwoods every summer for college money are already well trained. The local staff are pleasant and hard-working. All three times I never waited for anything and I was checked on regularly. Coffeehouse like music plays overhead at a gentle volume enhancing the dining experience. Best for last : You can order room service from this restaurant for lunch and dinner.
