Seaside Heating & Air workmanship at its finest . New A/ C is not working , yet another faulty install.

Here is what you can expect based on my unfortunate experience. 1. The estimate that was given does not include everything necessary for a complete installation, I can only guess this is how they stay competitive with their pricing . 2. Multiple service calls due to installation related workmanship and to address missing items that were not included in the original estimate that you will now need to pay for . 3. Customer service is not a concept in their business philosophy or returning phone calls when asked for a supervisor to return your call . 4. Will not stand behind their product or honor the manufacturer warranty. Once they have your money, the service also ends . My new central A/ C didn't last 2 years , Seaside Heating & Air said there was a leak in the system and billed me $400 for the coolant with no intention of fixing the problem . I am now without A/C and no better off than when I first contacted this outfit Do yourself a favor and call a professional, I wished I did.

    New heater installed.

I recently used Airtime to inspect the malfunctioning furnace for a rental condo I was selling, and…read morethe technician arrived promptly on a Monday morning and discovered the heat exchanger was cracked, so the furnace had to be replaced. The buyer had scheduled their property inspection for Wednesday morning, so I was pleased when the technician provided with a very competitive bid on the spot, and got the new furnace installed that afternoon. Fast forward to a couple weeks later when I ran into the same issue two days before another unit was scheduled to have its annual Section 8 inspection completed. Once again I got a same-day replacement at the same great price. Since then I had Airtime replace the furnaces in two more units (four total), and just had them change out a broken garbage disposal and water heater that was on its last legs--suffice to say their plumbing division was just as efficient and professional as their HVAC techs, and the pricing for those was extremely competitive as well. In short, I highly recommend you contact Airtime for any HVAC or plumbing needs you have. You won't be disappointed.

I can't recommend Airtime enough! During this heat wave, my AC stopped working, and they came out…read morequickly and got my system back up and running. From the moment they arrived, I could tell they genuinely cared about doing the job right instead of just rushing through the appointment. They went above and beyond by checking my attic to make sure all of my ductwork was properly connected. While they were up there, they found a disconnected duct that the company I used last year completely missed. It made me realize how thorough Airtime is compared to the previous HVAC company I had been using. My system is older, and I was expecting the usual sales pitch to replace everything. Instead, they were honest about the condition of my unit, fixed what needed to be fixed, and never pressured me into buying a new system. That level of honesty is hard to find these days. Their pricing was fair and reasonable, and because I was so impressed with their service, I signed up for their maintenance plan. It's reassuring to know they'll be coming out every year to keep everything running smoothly and hopefully help me get the most life out of my current system. If you're looking for an HVAC company that's knowledgeable, honest, thorough, and genuinely puts customers first, I highly recommend Airtime. They've definitely earned my business for years to come!

The first mini split condenser was fried and had signs of a leak. It was over 10 years old. He called Conor, a supervisor, to talk to us about a new unit. We thought given how busy everyone is that it would be weeks before we could get the split replaced. Conor was able to get to our house in about 30 minutes. Sage serviced the second split while Conor was in route. When Conor arrived he went through the options. We needed something soon with the heat we are experiencing. They carry Mitsubishi mini splits. They had a slot for Tuesday 7/21. We had done our research, so we were comfortable acting quickly. Both Conor and Sage listened to our concerns and made us feel like we were in good hands. For the day of installation Jorge and Aaron showed up on time. They were able to remove the old split and install the new one by midafternoon. Very efficient and respectful. They checked the system out, asked if we had any question or concerns. We have a 115-year-old home, and they were careful in our old home. Our experience with Bob Jensen Heating and Air was outstanding, and I do not say that lightly. Sage, Conor, Jorge and Aaron were great. We would highly recommend Bob Jenson to family, friends and neighbors, without a doubt. We ill add that they have 24/7/365 emergency service.

I'm taking the time to update my review so other people don't go through what I went through. I…read moreprefer to post positive reviews and if there's an issue I contact the company to resolve it. In this case, Jensen refuses to make it right. My minisplit stopped working after a Bob Jensen technician did routine maintenance on the unit. Before that visit, the unit was operational. After the visit I got flashing lights on the unit. I Googled the sequence of flashes - they indicated that a thermister cable was malfunctioning or incorrectly installed. When Jensen sent the same technician out, he opened the outside unit. I could see that the thermister cable was pinched in 2 places. The technician cut the cable on either side to splice the cable together for a temporary repair. In order to do this very simple splice, he needed to talk to someone on the phone. That person sounded very frustrated with the technician's inability to understand how to do the splice. The tech asked if he should cut off the plug on one end which would have ruined the possibility of splicing the cable for a temporary repair. He clearly didn't have the most rudimentary knowledge about cables. I left at that point and later the tech told me that the splice was complete, but it didn't fix the problem. In the meantime I had been researching how to buy this cable and ordered it since the tech couldn't tell me anything about Jensen's ability to get one. (Bear in mind that the system is sensitive to changes in resistance and a splice may or may not work, so it's necessary to replace the cable.) It was obvious that the Jensen tech didn't know what he was doing, so I contacted a local AC repairman. We examined the splice done by the Jensen tech. THE JENSEN TECH HAD SPLICED ALL 4 WIRES TOGETHER, SHORTING OUT THE THERMISTER CABLE. The local AC repairman correctly spliced the cable and that cleared the fault code, but he let me know it might not last because of the system's sensitivity to resistance changes. In fact, it only lasted a few days and I paid him to come back out to install the new thermistor cable. The only thing Jensen would pay for was the cost of the new cable and shipping. I am out a considerable amount of money from fixing what Jensen broke. On top of that, Jensen insisted that their techs know how to splice cables and refused to fully compensate me even after I showed them photos of the incompetent splice. Then Jensen sent me a letter saying that having an different AC business do repairs could affect my warranty. This is a lie in California because another AC business can do warranty repairs, assuming the unit is still under warranty. Of course, I no longer trust a Jensen repair tech to work on my system and I want a competent repairman to do preventive and corrective maintenance. Bottom line: Jensen won't offset the cost of another company fixing a problem that Jensen created and that a Jensen technician couldn't repair due to incompetence. Also, although I personally saw the crimped cable, the Jensen tech made sure he took it with him - I've little doubt that the tech knew he messed up, but he can't hide his incompetent cable splice because I have photos of it. On top of all of this the technician repeatedly tried to hard sell me a maintenance agreement after I told him I didn't want one. Bob Jensen is no longer a family-owned business. They are owned by a corporation and when you talk to a representative you're talking to a call center. It's apparent that Jensen, under corporate ownership, no longer prioritizes sending out well-trained technicians. They'd rather send a poorly trained tech who prioritizes selling maintenance agreements and then duck responsibility when one of their tech breaks equipment.
