The butterscotch may sound a bit off but I reassure you it's not too sweet at all and not entirely smooth. There is texture in these butters and you can tell that they have not been sitting around for too long and you will know when you look on the bottom of the jar it tells you when it was made! I was on vacation for a few days in cape may nj and was at the washington street mall when i stopped into james candy store to pick up a few small gifts for friends. i decided to get 3 boxes of fun in the sun taffy. i went up to pay and the bill was $21.43. the woman put the small boxes into a small bag and the side of the bag started to tear. i saw that they had a small shopping bag so i asked to have my candy transferred to the small shopping bag and was told that i need to spend $22.00 to get the shopping bag and i would need to purchase something else to get to the $22.00 threshold. i was like " really ? you're going to let me leave with a ripped bag?. plenty of plafes to get taffy in cape may so sorry that you lost a customer.
