Aweful food. They were hired to cater my daughters baby shower a couple of weeks ago and the food was pure aweful. Chicken was so dry people could hardly chew it, green beans were soggy and soft. The only good thing was the garlic butter knots bread and some of those were burnt. Never again for any of us that's for sure. We often don't go to restaurants twice, but I've been soo excited to go back so we finally made the trip back down after FOUR years! Last time we had a beautiful brie and butternut squash fondue, which is one of the best things I've ever eaten. This time, we headed down on a Friday night and called ahead to reserve a seat. Surprisingly, on arrival, it wasn't very busy. After we were sat we were greeted quickly and got our drink orders in. When the appetizer came out we were thrilled. The gorgonzola fritters were savory perfection and we really enjoyed the hot honey dipping sauce. However, when the food came out, strangely, my chicken fettuccine Alfredo was brought with no chicken. The server said "its coming," which I found very odd. My partner's fish and chips came with three, very small pieces of cod. Overall, we've decided the appetizers and beverages are the best, but we would skip on a meal again. Giving it a 4 due to the amazing brie and gorgonzola appetizers. Pros: - Excellent frozen drinks - Mouthwateringly good appetizers - Chill vibe, nice decor Cons: - So-so service. Everytime I eat here the service is superb. I love the food. I went on Wednesday because they have a sirloin special. I didn't take photos but I will the next time I go. The soup tomato bisque is so delicious. I've been here a few times. Each time was great. The atmosphere is good for families or couples. Its spacious for anyone with disabilities. The parking is so close to the door. The salads are awesome as well. We ordered a soup and salad instead of appetizer. This is home cooking not out of a box. I love small businesses especially this one. My husband had a burger and fries. It was well cooked, juicy, and real meat. We go here frequently now for date night. I like small places with decent prices. I would recommend eating here. I will try to take pictures next time. read more

Really incredible. There was no aspect of our meal or our visit here that wasn't perfect. I met my cousin and I had the Steakhouse Cavatappi which was truly amazing. The pasta was perfectly al dente. The Gorgonzola cream sauce was nice, not too intense nor too mild. My cousin had the Grouper Puttenesca which she really enjoyed. Food was good. The pizza was done wrong to start with. We had to ask for ranch dressing three times. Sorry but it took forever to be waited on. It was not busy at all the wait staff was standing around, did not check back to see if we needed anything. All of our drinks were empty we had to ask to get more. Nice people and atmosphere but I would not recommend this place for food. Went for lunch today with my wife and got the Nashville chicken. The chicken was raw inside. The waitress was shocked when I showed her and said they would take care of it. Instead, they took the same piece of chicken and refried it. Update on 10/20 Our servers name today was Natalie. The service was terrible, we had no silverware, and instead of apologizing she just said "oh that other girl was supposed to bring you some". We starred at our salads for more than 10 minutes waiting for silverware. She would disappear for long periods of time, never introduced herself (got her name off of the bill), and seemed overall very uninterested in serving us. The entrees tonight were very bland and the chicken didn't taste very good, we had the Chicken Cavatappi, so we had to add a lot of salt and pepper at the table. We had the Crab beignets for a starter and they were delicious but they aren't actually beignets (they are actually like hush puppies). The beignets were worth a try. Every other time we have been the food and service was great but both were greatly lacking tonight. read more

Ravenous and sore after biking Barry Roubaix's Lauf Chiller, we were seated immediately despite the mass of other hungry rubber- legged cyclists in downtown Hastings. Interior was a peaceful cavern of exposed brick, high ceilings and dark wood. We were impressed again at the quick, friendly service given the nationwide labor difficulties. Bruschetta trio of strawberry, green olive, and tomato basil toppings was a pleasant surprise as we'd not read the full menu description. Brix soft drinks are on menu, including rare diet cola. Not bad as diet goes, better than the diet big two. The classic burger is about 8 inches tall, and the fries were perfect, crispy crust with smooth interior. The goat cheese on the sweetest sting didn't overwhelm the toppings, complimenting the lightly honeyed crack crust & light sauce. Carnivores will enjoy the thick, tasty vegetarian pie. Worth the drive from GR even if you don't first spend a couple of hours busting lungs on hills and inhaling gravel road dust. read more

Great to see a nice restaurant in Hastings. Casual but with an upscale menu. We had the calamari appetizer, which was done perfectly. I had to have perch and it was fantastic. My son had the Fuji apple pork and cleaned off his plate! We will make this a stop every time we go to Hastings. read more

Ordered the short ribs but that was certainly not what I got. It was sliced roast beef. If this is what the cook - I can't say chef - considers as short ribs go back to McDonald's. And it wasn't even tender. The risotto was decent but very salty. And for$20, no less. If it were actually short ribs and not tender I would at least give 2 stars for accuracy. We were there for lunch today. It was busy. And they seemed understaffed. Drinks came right away but it took almost an hour to get our food. When it finally came they served 4 of our group leaving 4 to sit and watch them eat for another 10 minutes. Food was good but not great and not hot. No one cleared any plates so we sat with stacks of dirty plates on our table till they brought our bill. Nice selection of draft beer and the German Schwartzbier was delicious. read more

Their service was very, very slow and my friend had to get off of her seat to intersect the waitress who passed by our table multiple times while ignoring her arm in the air and her going "ma'am" she also ordered another drink that was never made, my friend and I ordered The Cubano and is was cold and dry, it's supposed to be made in a panini press to melt the cheese but it needed butter or mayonnaise on the bread. Advertised as an American-Italian restaurant using fresh ingredients but the four of us were underwhelmed with the preparation of our dishes. Encrusted walleye was overly encased and tasted 'fishy', short ribs were 'slabs', and grouper was overly 'spiced' with veggie-of-the-day tasting of old fry oil. We special ordered a vegetarian spaghetti with marinara sauce that no flavor and poor texture & presentation - not expected from an 'Italian' restaurant. Was very loud with full band playing in bar area (even while seated in dining room side - could not carry a conversation. Wow what a hidden gem to me! Visited for a late lunch/early dinner and this place did not disappoint! From excellent service (TY Isaac), the refreshing cane sugar soda (versus the big names junk), to my highly recommended-Greek Nachos, and my yummy Chicken Marsala ( I had the mushroom risotto in place of spaghetti)... Super yummy fresh & hot (kudos to the kitchen staff). My hubs and friend had pizza - which they loved. We really enjoy the Seasonal Grill. The always have new items for specials and an amazing list of standard item's. They tend to lean on the Italian side but have a variety of cuisine. Please don't miss out on there cannolis as they are amazing! There daily risotto changes daily and never disappoints. I am a traveling musician. I arrived in your town and walked down the main street trying to find a place to grab a quick bite. An employee greeted me and led me to a table quickly. I told her I was in a hurry and just wanted a bowl of soup. She brought me THE MOST DELICIOUS asparagus bisque soup I have ever tasted and a fresh, hot baguette. Our experience for Season Grill catering our wedding reception from start to finish was excellent. My husband and I enjoyed our taste testing from items on the menu and ended up creating something not on the regular menu. The roast beef in gravy sauce was the star of the show. Not only was it tender, but the flavor rendered many compliments from our wedding guests. The chicken wrapped in bacon with the cream sauce was our favorite at the taste testing. On the day of our wedding, some of the chicken was dry and somewhat disappointing, but the rest of the food, exceptional. The mashed potatoes stay fluffy and as delicious as when it first arrived. We had ordered 3 different salad dressings because we couldn't make up our mind which two we liked best. Justin told us we could have all 3 for the same price. As it turned out, there were only two the day of the wedding, but still delicious nonetheless.. Justin assigned one of his staff to not only cut the wedding cake, but also to render service exclusively to us as the bride and groom. The woman's name was Kat, (Kathleen I think was her name) was spectacular! She was friendly, super attentive and just simply 100% better than we ever could have imagined. We cannot rave about Kat enough to do justice to her service on our wedding day. Kudos to her and the rest of the staff who were on site for the wedding. The woman in charge from Seasonal Grill was also excellent but unfortunately, neither my husband or I can remember her name, but she was organized, constantly available and the dinner ran like a well oiled machine. Again, kudos for an amazing dinner that far exceeded our expectations. My wife and I recently purchased a place near Hastings. We went into Hastings for a dinner out together. We had no idea where we were going to go. We saw this place on the corner so we went there. Server was Zoe. Very pleasant and attentive. My wife and I each had burgers and fries. The food was actually really good. Burgers and fries were hot. The burger has wonderful flavor. This is my second time here. First time dined in. Second time coronavirus visit aka takeout. I'm a Hastings visitor but it's some of the freshest and yummiest food I've had here! My fiancé's family eats a lot of pizza is all... Seafood is fresh and seasoned well. Even the house salad is extra special with almonds and parm as a nice touch. We've been to this restaurant many times and always have really good food and adequate (not stellar) service. This time really missed the mark. We sat at the bar; the restaurant only had a few customers. We got our drinks and menus in a timely fashion but then it went downhill fast. We waited for a very long time, finally tracked down another worker to ask if we could order. After another wait the bartender came to take our orders. We ordered a house salad and cheese broccoli soup and house salad and the chicken chardonnay, waited another really, really long time for our food. The chicken and side potatoes were overdone and the soup was similar to bland, tasteless gravy. The bartender basically ignored us while we were eating and had to be called over to get the check. We were so disappointed in our experience. Based on this recent experience, it's unlikely we will return. read more

Ok so they are on the verge of 4 stars. The food itself was really good with one exception that I will get to. The waiter was nice and helpful. My husband really loved the bar and all of the woodwork. I got a martini and my hubby got a lager. Both good. I ordered the Chicken Carbonara and it came with a soup or salad and I chose the chicken poblano soup. It was scrumptious but a very small portion. The pasta came out and it was delicious except for the chicken which unfortunately was inedible. It was like rubber. I have a feeling that since we stopped in on the night after Valentine's it had been made fresh the night before and unused then reheated for my dish, at least that's what it seemed like. I couldn't cut it with my knife. Bummer. My husband got the Cubano sandwich and upgraded to fries for a dollar more. His portions where just not big enough for the price we paid. It was a mini sandwich and hardly any fries. He did say that it tasted great though. Like I said, they are on the verge of 4 stars and we will probably try them again because we live in the area and try to support local business. Hopefully this was just a one off and next time will be better. There are several things on the menu I would like to try. I went here from a relatively enthusiastic recommendation from a shop owner down the street. I should know by now that you have to adjust expectations in small towns. I came for lunch and had the chicken marsala. There is outdoor seating, but beware that since it's north-facing, you likely aren't going to get direct sunlight despite the umbrellas they have out. Maybe a bit later in the afternoon or in the middle of June. The chicken marsala was pretty disappointing though. Plenty of pasta, nowhere near enough sauce. Real Italian pasta isn't drenched in sauce like you often see here, but this was measly even by that standard. I could make out a light marsala taste, but the chicken was for the most part stronger. Even what I could taste wasn't the bright marsala/chicken broth flavor that I can whip up quickly at home, and the sauce is pretty much the main reason I go for this dish. Service was also surprisingly slow on this Tuesday at noon, though I didn't really need much. read more
