Your company responded to call for towing service within 15 minutes of our call. Amber who was the responder arrived and handled the situation in a professional and very capable manner. The car was located on the left shoulder of the road, and traffic was stop and go through the entire process of loading the car onto the flatbed. It was obviously a very dangerous and difficult situation. Her first objective was to get my wife and me into the truck, out of harms way. Through the entire process of loading the car onto the flatbed, traffic on road were within feet of her. Once loaded Amber then transported us with the car to a local dealer where she unloaded the car and our son in law picked us up. In closing I want to commend amber for her concern for us, her skill and ability to do the job, and her professional conduct with us through the entire encounter. In my opinion she's an outstanding employee. Tell her thanks very much from me and my wife.

I was towed from a "Business Patrons, 1 hour" section on a Saturday night. Businesses were closed…read more(except for the pizza spot), very few cars in the lot. I went back out after 1.5 hours to get a bag and check on my car, it was gone. I told the dispatcher I had a sound check for a show, the parking garage nearby is closed, businesses were mostly closed and no one was in the lot, and had returned to check on it it -- he initially felt bad but then became rude, stating it was $425 and wouldn't budge on price. Keep in mind, city tows are $275. I got there after my show at 12:30am -- just a truck sitting at the gate, no light, no office. The kid there said he was just about to leave. I asked for a receipt by text and never received a response. I also asked for the contract between the property management co and Kosiken's, no response. They could have written a ticket or put a boot on. This is legal theft & coercion.

Nathan and his crew helped me when I was stranded on the side of the road, Brad a service tech there pulled up beside me and offered me a hand to their shop, as i was stranded on the side of County 7 . From there the family took care of me while I was also not familiar with the area, it was Friday evening before Labor day weekend and they took my Truck , which just decided to stop driving and assure me they would take good care of it for me over labor day weekend. They communicated with me throughout the entire ordeal, checked over everything, took care of the issue they caught & had it ready by that Tuesday. I said again I'm not from that area, but just from telling some friends from my area this story (Rush NY) they have decided to take their vehicles there for maintenance. I would give Mavis Discount Tire zero stars if that were an option…read more In late June, I purchased four new tires, an alignment, brakes, and rotors from this location. Less than 17,000 miles later, my front tires had cords showing on the inside, and the rear tires were nearly bald. These tires were rated for 40,000-50,000 miles and were completely destroyed in under half that time. This was caused by a bad alignment done by Mavis. Their own employees acknowledged the uneven wear and confirmed the alignment was clearly off. I was also told by both a front desk employee and a mechanic that I was "sold a sh*t tire that doesn't belong on a full-size truck," which is unbelievable to hear after paying for new tires from a professional shop. Despite acknowledging the issue, they refused to take responsibility without the store manager's approval. The store manager, Ryan, told me he would contact corporate and promised an update by the end of the week. He never called. I had to repeatedly follow up, only to be told there was "no answer yet." Before any resolution was reached, one of the failing front tires blew out while I was driving to work, leaving me stranded on the side of the road with no drivable vehicle and no way to earn income. As a result of the unsafe condition of these tires, my truck later slid off the road and ended up in a ditch, where I was stuck for over six hours and missed an entire day of work. At that point, this situation had gone far beyond inconvenience and became a serious safety issue. After all of this, corporate's solution was to offer 25% off another set of tires, meaning I'm expected to pay again after only getting about 43% of the tire life I paid for, and I would still have to pay for another alignment--despite them acknowledging the original alignment was bad. To make matters worse, Mavis tried to blame the failure on "lack of tire rotation" and claimed vehicles should be realigned every 3-6 months, which is completely unrealistic and clearly an excuse to avoid accountability. No missed rotation causes cords to show or tires to fail this catastrophically in under 17,000 miles. I gave this shop every opportunity to do the right thing. Instead, I was ignored, misled, and left with hundreds of dollars in losses and a vehicle I no longer felt safe driving. If you value your safety, your money, or a shop that stands behind its work, do not go to Mavis Discount Tire in Newark.

I don't think you need to replace them. We can just take them off and put a new stem on and that should take care of it. Everything worked out fine and it saved me $300 for new tires, they didn't have to do that. I came in asking for a new tires, but they went the extra step. Fantastic job very happy with the service.

Set up an appointment for simple inspection, just to be ignored, go to pick up the car believing they did what I requested 7 hours later!, to find the car still in the same place, (no inspection done) ok no worries, you're too busy and really don't need my business. The man sees me coming puts the keys on the counter and walks off into the sun set.

I received regular notifications throughout the process, starting with a projected completion date, then regular updates as the parts came in and services were completed. (The work was done with impressive finesse, and the completion date was so early that I saved hundreds when returning my rental car early.) There were some really nice finishing touches along the way too, like answering all my questions and concerns when picking up the vehicle (zomg, went a long way in easing the anxiety experienced around losing my vehicle for a time after the crash), printing a second copy of the bill so I could stick one in my records and send the other along with the certification required by insurance, and exceptional after-care in answering questions that I had a few days after completion.
