While staying in forestport we decided to give this quaint local diner a try. It definitely had an outdoorsy vibe full of nice interior and exterior aesthetic and many locals. We decided to take a drive on a cold rainy Sunday for breakfast somewhere we hadn't been and landed here. We are quite familiar with the area and had friends up the road we visited for years but had never been to the diner. Right on Route 12 at the flashing light is Woodgate center and the diner is on the corner. Was very busy when we arrived about 11am. Warm and welcoming with an old woodsy cabin feel and a fireplace roaring that we were able to sit close to. Greeted right away and despite the number of cars a table for two and a few seats were open at the counter. We sat at the table. When we received our menus I was surprised at the reasonably priced breakfast items especially since eggs were high due to a not long past bird Flu. We ordered and in a reasonable time as the crowd seems to be leaving we got our food. I went with a breakfast sandwich with Canadian bacon, cheddar Cheese, and egg which came on a light fluffy homemade soft roll. The home fries were perfectly cooked as I had added onions and they were carmelized with some crispy to the potatoes. Note many places toss raw onion in which is a big no for me so I was very happy. My dining partner had an omelette with toast and corned beef hash. Corned beef hash was nice and crispy in the outside and omelette was very filling. With a soda and a chocolate milk we were stuffed. Staff was very efficient and friendly. We noticed on the menu they serve dinners and apparently are well known for their prime rib so we will have to return. read more

We ignored her and had breakfast, figuring she was having a tough day. So the next day we returned and she again greeted us in a very nasty tone. This place is sooooo good! I came here last summer with my parents and my husband on our way back from a camping trip to have a quick meal. Very affordable and homey diner/cafe. Stopped in with my little family after leaving old forge! The service was unbelievably great with one waitress who was attentive to every table. She made sure we were doing okay with our experience & drinks were never empty. Also patient with our 2 year old daughter & gave her some crayons and a coloring book. The food was good! My fiancé ordered a meat lovers omelet, my daughter had French toast & I had a turkey club. They serve breakfast and lunch from 6am-1:30pm if I can remember right which was a plus because I wasn't really feeling to eat any breakfast at the time we went. Great little place! My family has been eating at Seasons for years and years and years! We have a camp just around the corner in Forestport and stopping at Seasons is usually a must do thing before we leave. Service is wonderful, it's definitely the kind of place where everyone knows everyone. The food is always delicious and very good sized portions as well. We almost always stop for late breakfast/early lunch. I haven't had the dinner service there since they started it but I'm sure that's on par with everything else. Do yourself a favor and stop at Seasons Adirondack Cafe. We were not planning on stopping, but our usual location was booked due to the holiday weekend so we decided to stop in at Seasons for a late breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. Clean facility, friendly staff, great coffee, quick service, large portions. What more could you ask for? I went with the four seasons platter with a side of toast. I regret nothing. It was too much to finish. The pancakes were large and fluffy, the eggs and potatoes plentiful, the toast, the toast was thick cut deliciousness. I am making this my new official stop on the way out of town after spending time in the piney woods. read more

This diner is ok as far as diners go. I've been eating here a few times per summer for the past 20 years and I've seen it go through several owners. Lately I've noticed the breakfasts aren't quite as good as they used to be. The pancakes have certainly dropped off in quality. I think they are made from a "just add water" kind of mix (can't be sure). The coffee is adequate, but not super flavorful. The atmosphere is rustic and slight touristy, so you'll probably like it if you're into that. The staff is friendly and quick. I don't want to give the impression this is a bad place to grab breakfast. If you're staying nearby it's a good place to stop in. I just wouldn't recommend going out of your way to eat here. read more
