It was not busy on a Wednesday night at 6 pm. We ordered 3 pizzas and a burger and waited an hour and 1/2 for our food ( with a burned pizza). The server didn't check back with us after we placed the order until saying the order was lost and they were cooking it right away. The order showed up a half hour later. No one checked to see how it was until they presented us with the check. After supporting this business as long as it has been open, we asked for the check to be picked up by the restaurant and the mgr declined, saying he didn't see the food, except a few burned pizza slices. We left very unsatisfied! Won't go back ANY time soon. read more

I was soo surprised how good this was!! After one too many bad experiences in the ADK park I wasn't expecting much. This exceeded my expectations and more! We ordered Steamers as an appetizer. The clams were plump and fresh tasting dipped in drawn butter of course. We also ordered two pizzas. The first had mushrooms, sausage, onions and pepperoni. The second a white clam pie with garlic. The pepperoni was the thin sliced kind that curled up when heated in the pizza oven!! The only good kind for pizza imo! Both pizzas had thin crust with a nice char. The flavors were strong and savory. The toppings ratio perfect. We didn't have a long wait like some other reviewers did. It was team service and very efficient. The price was right too. Certainly not cheap but fine for the quality. We will be back when in the area. read more

My wife and I stopped in earlier today during a drizzly but gorgeous fall day driving through the Adirondacks. We were pretty hungry and this places looked appetizing. We actually didn't order any pizza but strongly recommend the spicy shrimp with sumptuous melted butter (as an appetizer); the fried haddock (blackened with fries, and ask for their divine buffalo hot sauce), and a beet salad. Unfortunately this location in Inlet that used to be spectacular has gone downhill. All of the long time regular servers have left and it seems the ones who currently work there cannot speak English or take a simple phone order. Even when dining in the servers can't get an order correct. What a shame. I would not be surprised if this place closes before too long. read more

These average or bad reviews seems to be a bit much. We had a really good time at the Inlet location. Highlights included excellent music, nice outside patio and good food and drink. We ordered pizzas, wings and a couple of sandwiches. All were good and generous and priced reasonably. If ever in that neck of the woods again I'd go again. FYI- dog friendly. read more

Happened to stop in unexpectedly and happy that I did! Ordered the French Dip but added on cheese and extra peppers and it was fantastic. Bread was perfectly crispy, and filling and au jus were flavorful. Only minor suggestion would be to upgrade the chips that come with the sandwich - reducing portion size and upgrading to a kettle chip would take this to next level. It's so great to have this option in Inlet. We had a large The Hunter pizza that was really delicious. The pizza was cooked a bit more well-done, which we enjoyed. Knocking off one star because our pizza came but a chicken sandwich did not after a while and we had to go in search of it. Not a huge deal. They were still working out the kinks. read more

We have been fans of the old forge location for a decade but our experience at the inlet location was awful. We sent half the food back for being burned or wrong, and although they credited the bill, our experience was utterly disappointing. Stay far away from this place! Shrimp wasn't cooked at all. Took over 45 minutes to get chicken fingers and fries. Barely anyone was in the restaurant. A random guy threw money on the bar and said good luck. Another woman came to our table and asked how long we waited for food. She said she waited 90 minutes. It might be an okay place to grab just a drink but definitely not for food. It's literally called Tony's pizza. We tried to order a pizza and was told no because their pizza oven was down.
