It came with a asian-style salad and fries. Oysters were fresh and came with horseradish, cocktail sauce, and mignonette sauce. The fish on the poke nachos had a good flavor and the fries were good. I would not order the calamari again; it was super dry and hard. We came around 4:30 on a Sunday and there was a line and the place was busy, but we found a table with no issue. Wanting to spend some time catching up with a friend after work, we decided to give Seasurf a try. After getting great feedback from some of my Yelp friends, many said that the Happy Hour offerings were amazing. The restaurant has a very open concept with half of it being "inside" but still very open to the outside patio area. This set up was great on the (very) warm summer evening we were there, but I wonder how it plays out during inclement weather? Anyway, orders are placed at the counter and brought to your table as they're ready. The gal working the register was friendly and patient about answering questions. The guys delivering the food and collecting finished plates were all also friendly and engaging. This be our first Happy Hour visit, I thought that because of the reduced prices that the portions would be smaller. Um, I was wrong! Thus, we had way more food than we could finish and ended up taking home a whole order of king taco asada nachos. We did polish off 2 orders of poke nachos, a classic fried fish taco, and a bowl of Hawaiian island poke. All of the nachos had a good ratio of protein to chips and all the "toppings" were super fresh and also balanced to the overall dish. The Hawaiian island poke bowl was delish!! 97 degrees in the restaurant today at the bar. Employees could not touch the thermostat against policy. I could see it from my seat and asked if I could touch it lol! I could not talk to a manager because he was not at this location. Front house staff could not give me any kind of discount because he was at other restaurant nor would he speak to me on phone with me. I was at YL location and starting throwing out some ideas ( beers in ice bucket ) or offer a glass of water, which never happened. No one cared and just dealt with it by not acknowledging the problem. I asked to speak to manager and no one knew which restaurant he was at. The bartender had no authority to call GM over us sweating over my fish tacos. No refunds given because we drank the beers and ate our food. I called two other locations And managers were not in or willing to speak To me or anyone that could help me. I was told to leave messages and maybe I could get refund. Mind you I ate before HH and no problem with that a full refund was not what I needed. Maybe an apology Employees knew restaurant was uncomfortable and hot And they said nothing. Nothing! Lovely, raw fish does well in heat. I will complain to city and owner whoever he is..they might need to teach the front house staff on how to deal with maintenance issues and inform customer that AC is broken before putting in order. Let me start off by saying this place was a hidden gem that my boyfriend and I found via google/yelp. When we first arrived it looked cozy/small dine in space but realized it actually opened up and was very spacious in the back of the restaurant! I'm so happy I stumbled onto this casual place with great food. I went on a Sunday afternoon after seeing they had a daily happy hour, which started at 3:00pm. I was shocked by how good the prices are since the oysters were $1.50 for their house seasurf select, and the poke nachos were $7. The amount of poke on the nachos was really generous for the price, and was delicious. You order at the counter, receive a number, and then they bring the food out to you. Outside of the happy hour menu, my boyfriend got the lobster roll which came with fries and a coleslaw (which was not the usual mayo-based coleslaw, it was a lot better in our opinion). The lobster roll is a rip-off. The roll itself is the size of a teenager's hand, and the coleslaw it came with looked like leftover cabbage clippings. All that for $26.99, where the roll took up barely 1/4 of the platter. I've had better fish tacos elsewhere. The interior decor was warm and welcoming, but be aware most available seating is outdoors on the patio. Like the pictures, the food looked great when it arrived. Unfortunately, this spot has all the right ingredients to being great but one ... the actual quality of the food. The fish taco, calamari and poke nachos were very greasy. I didn't taste much flavor on the fish taco because the grease overpowered it. The calamari was more breading than squid and the poke didn't taste like much. I love sea turf fish. It is our regular place whenever we pass by Yorba Linda. The lobster roll is tasty and not over seasoned like some other places. The cioppino is great with a lot of seafood in it, even has pasta in it but you would have to mix the pasta with the cioppino otherwise it has no flavor at all. Our only complaint is the uni oyster. We ordered it since it stated Santa Barbara Uni (imo the Santa Barbara and San Diego Uni are the best in the states). However, as you can see the the picture, the uni was sitting/soaking in the oyster juice that took out the sweetness of the uni and instead filled it with the salty seawater flavor. I hope they tried it themselves and find a way to solve this. Otherwise will not order this appetizer, it is $20 for 2 uni oysters, which is totally not worth it. read more

My boyfriend knows my love for oysters and he took me to Seasurf Fish for lunch. They share a parking lot with Bristol Farms. Upon entering, you can order at the cashier, and then seat yourself. They have some bar seatings with a small tv, a few tables indoors, and then a larger covered patio outside. I really like the vibes here. My boyfriend and I shared a Dozen of Oysters ($30). The cashier was not knowledgeable about what types of oysters they sold and told me to look at the case. I opted for half Minters Sweets and half Blue Points. My boyfriend ordered the Beer Battled Fish and Chips ($14.99) and I ordered the Seafood Cioppino ($17.99). I also ordered a Bloody Bacon Michelada (?). The oysters came out first and I was soooo excited. They came with cute baby spoons. Great presentation... Unfortunately the shucking was awful. Waste of oyster pieces still stuck on the shell, and I also saw my boyfriend spill up shell. It wasn't even busy when we came so I'm not sure if they were rushed or just sadly unskilled. I have had minters sweet and blue points before and these were irregularly mild. The flavors were bland. We are aware they have great oyster pricing on happy hour, but what's the point if the quality and shucking is insufficient. Then for our main entrees, my boyfriend's fish and chips looked like it was fried in old oil. The portion was also weak with only 2 tiny pieces of fish. My cioppino was a hearty portion with what looks like a carefully arranged presentation. Was everything cooked separately? Because the stew was lacking flavor. And considering how it looked like they carefully stacked the mussels a certain way, there was one unopened mussel I could have done without. The pasta it came with was SO OVERCOOKED, it was soggy. One of the best happy hours in Orange County by far, just make sure you get there before 5pm because there's usually a line, and happy hour ends at 6. The fish quality is always great, and the tempura shrimp is a must. Highly recommend the edamame, poke nachos, poke bowl, and fish tacos. Oysters are great. We walked in and it was pretty busy , the place has some seating area inside and a few tables outside. I ordered the garlic ginger shrimp that comes with white rice and side of macaroni salad and a side of cucumber salad and picked onions. My husband ordered the shrimp tacos plate. Which is two tacos and it comes with some tortilla chips. My garlic shrimp plate was very filling. The shrimp were very tasty and had a great taste of garlic and sweet ginger sauce. I didn't catch her name but she had a bun in her hair was rude and unhelpful when we asked her to tell us what oysters were which. She said them so fast & walked off. I'm here now & I just over heard another lady tell that same exact girl not to be rude. She seemed so annoyed with everything! Wow! Good service is willing to be paid for but some people will never grasp that. It's very sad. It's like the kids that get participation trophies they didn't earn.
