I'm so happy I stumbled onto this casual place with great food. I went on a Sunday afternoon after seeing they had a daily happy hour, which started at 3:00pm. I was shocked by how good the prices are since the oysters were $1.50 for their house seasurf select, and the poke nachos were $7. The amount of poke on the nachos was really generous for the price, and was delicious. You order at the counter, receive a number, and then they bring the food out to you. Outside of the happy hour menu, my boyfriend got the lobster roll which came with fries and a coleslaw (which was not the usual mayo-based coleslaw, it was a lot better in our opinion). I love sea turf fish. It is our regular place whenever we pass by Yorba Linda. The lobster roll is tasty and not over seasoned like some other places. The cioppino is great with a lot of seafood in it, even has pasta in it but you would have to mix the pasta with the cioppino otherwise it has no flavor at all. Our only complaint is the uni oyster. We ordered it since it stated Santa Barbara Uni (imo the Santa Barbara and San Diego Uni are the best in the states). However, as you can see the the picture, the uni was sitting/soaking in the oyster juice that took out the sweetness of the uni and instead filled it with the salty seawater flavor. I hope they tried it themselves and find a way to solve this. Otherwise will not order this appetizer, it is $20 for 2 uni oysters, which is totally not worth it. read more

One of the best happy hours in Orange County by far, just make sure you get there before 5pm because there's usually a line, and happy hour ends at 6. The fish quality is always great, and the tempura shrimp is a must. Highly recommend the edamame, poke nachos, poke bowl, and fish tacos. Oysters are great. Service is usually prompt, the restaurant is very clean, and most of the staff is super friendly. My boyfriend knows my love for oysters and he took me to Seasurf Fish for lunch. They share a parking lot with Bristol Farms. Upon entering, you can order at the cashier, and then seat yourself. They have some bar seatings with a small tv, a few tables indoors, and then a larger covered patio outside. I really like the vibes here. My boyfriend and I shared a Dozen of Oysters ($30). The cashier was not knowledgeable about what types of oysters they sold and told me to look at the case. I opted for half Minters Sweets and half Blue Points. My boyfriend ordered the Beer Battled Fish and Chips ($14.99) and I ordered the Seafood Cioppino ($17.99). I also ordered a Bloody Bacon Michelada (?). The oysters came out first and I was soooo excited. They came with cute baby spoons. Great presentation... Unfortunately the shucking was awful. Waste of oyster pieces still stuck on the shell, and I also saw my boyfriend spill up shell. It wasn't even busy when we came so I'm not sure if they were rushed or just sadly unskilled. I have had minters sweet and blue points before and these were irregularly mild. The flavors were bland. We are aware they have great oyster pricing on happy hour, but what's the point if the quality and shucking is insufficient. Then for our main entrees, my boyfriend's fish and chips looked like it was fried in old oil. The portion was also weak with only 2 tiny pieces of fish. My cioppino was a hearty portion with what looks like a carefully arranged presentation. Was everything cooked separately? Because the stew was lacking flavor. And considering how it looked like they carefully stacked the mussels a certain way, there was one unopened mussel I could have done without. The pasta it came with was SO OVERCOOKED, it was soggy. We spent about $180 including drinks, which felt hard to beat for the quality and vibes on cupids day! There were so many options, and every option felt like quality seafood. Came here for dinner after having been to the one in San Clemente. This one is definitely closer to home. The place is located in a busy shopping center. We walked in and it was pretty busy , the place has some seating area inside and a few tables outside. I ordered the garlic ginger shrimp that comes with white rice and side of macaroni salad and a side of cucumber salad and picked onions. My husband ordered the shrimp tacos plate. Which is two tacos and it comes with some tortilla chips. My garlic shrimp plate was very filling. The shrimp were very tasty and had a great taste of garlic and sweet ginger sauce. The macaroni salad was also very tasty. I even ate the shrimp and crispy shell because they were that crispy and good. There was a good amount of shrimp too. My husband enjoyed his shrimp tacos also. The servers are always welcoming, and both the indoor and outdoor seating make it a comfortable, casual spot to catch up with friends over good seafood. You order first and they'll give you a number to take to one of the tables. Seating inside is limited, but it's an open space concept so there's no wall between the inside vs the covered outside area. *Calamari: One of my go-to happy hour orders. The portion is generous, the batter is flavorful without being too heavy, and the calamari is perfectly fried and not rubbery at all. *Ponzu Shrimp Dumplings: A cute and fun menu item! I really liked the umami flavor and the natural sweetness of shrimp made me finish this one quickly. *Asada Nachos: Surprisingly amazing, definitely a sleeper hit! I was hesitant to order meat at a seafood spot, but these nachos were delicious. It's a big portion for a happy hour item and has lots of toppings. This was such a nice contrast to the rest of our seafood choices. *Ahi Poke: This was great! I usually avoid poke at non-poke spots, but the tuna was fresh and not fishy. I really liked the addition of seaweed salad and greens. *Fish Taco: A solid, standard fish taco. Nothing extraordinary, but no complaints either. Next time I'd probably opt for the oysters or shrimp ceviche instead of this if I'm in the mood for more of a seafood punch, but that's simply personal preference. The Lobster Roll was pretty good too, though I wish the bun was toasted more and they ditched the pickles and crunchy onions (or put them on the side). The fries and Cole slaw pretty were good too. We found this place in Yelp and drove over an hour to come check it out. You have to order and pay at the counter. The food is very mediocre and I'd say the fries were my favorite part of the meal. I didn't catch her name but she had a bun in her hair was rude and unhelpful when we asked her to tell us what oysters were which. She said them so fast & walked off. I'm here now & I just over heard another lady tell that same exact girl not to be rude. She seemed so annoyed with everything! Wow! Good service is willing to be paid for but some people will never grasp that. It's very sad. It's like the kids that get participation trophies they didn't earn. However, my husband and I snagged 2 seats at the small bar top, so the staff refilled our drinks there as well. The happy hour is 7 days a week! There are so many options. We loved the ceviche, gyoza, shrimp cocktail, fish tacos, shrimp dumplings and the wings. The wings and ceviche were my fave. The ceviche had a delicious lime flavor and the chips were fresh. It's a great place to get seafood bites, beers, and other cravings at very reasonable prices....especially during their happy hour 3-6pm! I went here with my fam and got to try at least half of the happy hour specials. From fish tacos to fresh poke, there was something for everyone. We also got the garlic pasta, which wasn't on the happy hour menu but well worth the price. Getting a table can be a little tough during the busy hours but once you order, the food comes out pretty quickly. Service was great, restrooms were clean, and vibe was chill. I really wanted to like this place because we have been trying to find a good fish restaurant close by, but this didn't fit the bill either. I don't like these places like this that don't know whether to be full service or counter service because the seating situation is always dicey. You order at the counter before you sit down, and they have signs at the front about not sitting down till you've ordered, but if I don't know that I'm going to have a place to sit, I don't even want to stay there. I hate restaurants with this policy. They bring your food to you, they don't make you come get it from the counter, but I guess it saves them money on not having these runners be full servers? I would pay more for a full service thing knowing I could sit down, not be rushed to look at the menu, and not be playing games with having and order in but waiting for an open table. I got the North Shore Hawaiian shrimp but they were lightly breads and seasoned on the outside of the shell - so once you peeled the shells from the 6 measly shrimp the flavoring was all on the inedible part. For the kids we got a fish and chips plate and asked for extra fries instead of fries and coleslaw but it looked to me like they just nixed the coleslaw without adding extra fries, and the fish pieces were pretty small for the price in my opinion. The shumai appetizer was the most disappointing of the whole night. It was the tiniest 6 shumai I have ever seen and we let our two boys split them but even then it was kind of a waste of an appetizer. I don't think we will be back anytime soon and the hunt for something with good fish and chips for the kids and good seafood for the adults continues! read more

I loved my salmon - choice of three sauces (loved the ginger glaze) - a large portion in a bed of rice either a small salad on the plate - less than $15, which is a great price! Others in my party enjoyed their shrimp burrito and clam chowder. Next time we'll try the selection of raw oysters and one of the many beers they have on tap. My only complaint is that it was a cold day and the doors were open even for the few indoor seats, so it was chilly - dress warmly if you go on a cold day. I will definitely be returning! read more
