We bought a loveseat and have had nothing but problems, with the seat and with customer service. The handles have broken on both sides and now one of them has broken again. The first time the one broke, the gentleman came out that afternoon and it was fixed. When the other side broke it was you had to make a call they put in a work order the part it took a month to get here. Now here it is the third time I've sent two emails within the last two days made a call Christina the manager said she didn't receive those emails. They've never had any problems with these loveseats with the handles breaking. she couldn't talk to me because she had two customers at the store and another phone call. This is the ONLY place I go to for furniture! In fact, I have purchased 2 power frames, 3 mattresses (king, queen, and full sized), 2 couches -- one for upstairs and a sectional for the basement, end tables, and my prize possession - my beautiful stand up Tiffany dragonfly lamp! Adam and his staff are very professional and are great to work with. One of our power frames stopped working, Adam sent his warehouse manager, Matthew P., out THAT day to look at it. I felt bad because he unplugged it, waited two minutes, plugged it back in and Whalla! I have to say that their power frames are fantastic! We went from a waterbed for 25 years to a traditional mattress with a power frame. I have tried laying on them in other stores, but when Adam showed me how much the power frame actually helps with your sleep and health, we were sold! After going through chemotherapy in 2009, I tend to have insomnia. With our new power frame and mattress that we purchased last year, I get the best sleep I've had in a long time! Both couches have survived three grandchildren and still look new! Another thing that impressed us when we were looking at mattresses, they have a satisfaction-guarantee. Ask at the store about how long -- but after sleeping on the new mattress for "X" days, if we weren't happy with the mattress, we could take it back and apply the purchase price toward a different mattress! Like I said, after 25 years in a waterbed, we were nervous about going to a traditional mattress. This "guarantee" made it easier for us -- knowing we could upgrade if that one wasn't the "right one". The delivery staff and warehouse manager are very professional, and I just love dealing with them! We got a nice upgrade for our living room, a really cool Mammoth sectional! From the sale staff to the delivery crew everyone was excellent! The delivery crew was very helpful, they brought the giant couch inside and set it up for us and they were concerned and ready to help when there was a small scratch on inside corner of a door. Over all this was a great value for the service and furniture we received! I would recommend Seat N Sleep for anyone looking for a good deal on some nice furniture. read more

I have bought several pcs of furniture here. I came in to look at a new couch with my grandaughter I made it inside the door and the man in the office said they weren't stroller friendly and busy. So.. let me start by saying I bought a bed there 7 yrs ago. Loved that bed but it was time to get a new one. Had purchased a couple living room pieces in-between then and now that we're subpar but chalked it up to being inexpensive. So time to buy a new bed. Found a bed that was close to the one i had purchased before and got it delivered. That first night, the bed was hard as a rock. Nothing close to the comfort level of the bed in the showroom. Called seat and sleep, was told we needed to give it at least 2 weeks to break the bed in. I have owned many beds in my day and never had to break it in. Anyway, we gave it a month. Still hard and unusable. Exchanged it for a new bed. Loved the bed in the showroom. Got it home, hard as a rock. We called to discuss the second bed and was told the owner said their is nothing they can do. I could understand this happening with one bed, manufacturer defect and what not, but 2 beds in a row not being as comfortable at home as they are in the showroom. We now just take this as a 1600 dollar lesson to only buy from stores that offer a money back return policy, because seat and sleep does not offer money back. We were told by the sales person when we wanted to exchange that drop-off of the new bed and pickup the old bed would be free. Then when it came to making the transaction, they wanted to charge us $100 to make that happen. When we brought this fact to their attention, we were just told the sales person was wrong. So we had to pick up and drop off on our own. So long story short. The sales staff is not knowledgeable of policy and products. The merchandise is almost a bait and switch situation. Comfortable in the showroom but not the actual product we received. I'm not saying this kinda thing happens to everyone who shops at seat n sleep, but let's just hope it dosnt happen to you. We, nor our family, or anyone who will listen to my story of the terrible experience i had there will ever shop there again. read more

DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THIS STORE! Horrible customer service and rude. I am a multiple time repeat customer and went to buy a new furniture for my sister who is elderly and had a broken arm and leg. I knew exactly what I wanted when I went in with my sister in the car and paid for the furniture. First I went in and this huge dog came up to me and tried to jump up while I was waiting on them to run our card. The transaction cleared and as I was already home I got a call that they were cancelling the order because I signed my name. I said yes, I am on the account. This was the second time we had been to look for her mind you. They said I was committing a fraudulent purchase. I said I can come back and show you if you would like. She woman said no you are banned from purchasing here. My sister really wanted the furniture so my friend who has purchased from there before went and paid for it with her card and when we went to pick it up with the sales receipt they would not give it to us and called her and she said yes my friends are picking it up for me. Nope! They called my husband who was no part of any of it multiple times and had many choice words for him. Needless to say ALL my friends will know not to buy from them! Disappointed by not being able to return a box spring still in its bag it was purchased a couple weeks prior and just got the bedroom put together and found out The new bed we purchased would be to high. Called Seat and Sleep and even though it was unused and still in plastic they were inflexible if it was within a 5 days only will they take care of you they say at least. I ordered a remote recliner for my elderly father from this store. First of all they lost my order. On the day it was suppose to be delivered I contacted them and they couldn't find my order. I told them I wanted my money back so I could get a chair from another store. A miracle happened, they found another one in the store but in a different color. I took it. It was delivered on Wednesday and my father was admitted into the hospital on Friday and will probably not return home. I called them and was told there is only a 5 day return policy. I guess they don't want to return the $900 check. They won't get anymore of my business. read more

We were in desperate need of a new mattress. Our old one was so saggy. Jessica worked with us to find the perfect fit for us. She even helped us through the credit approval process. We don't have the best credit as we're still young and haven't developed any yet. But she was able to get us approved and even gave us a discount. I don't normally review stores I shop @ but this place gave me the worst experience I've ever had from any store. I wanna warn anyone shopping around for furniture before they come here with what they might expect based on my 1 time shopping here. They initially delivered us a damaged couch (which the delivery guys were cool and did bring a replacement a little more than a week later). Our dining room table that was scheduled to arrive within 2 days showed up several weeks later bc they messed up the order, which I didn't know about until I called the day of to pick up. I tried calling the store 3x to see if the table was in, only bc the person answering the phone had no idea if my order was in and that "it might be somewhere in the back of the warehouse" Nobody got back to me with a phone call until they were within 10 min of closing the day after it was supposed to arrive. The chair I ordered was supposedly coming from some warehouse in Chicago, i was reassured that they could get it within 2 weeks only to find out the day is was to arrive that they didn't even know when they could actually get it... we received the chair nearly 4 months later. Mistakes happen, but don't expect any resolution here. The 2 salesmen @ the front desk (both claiming to be a manager) seemed completely unapologetic, almost like it was an inconvenience that anybody would ever come in and be upset with them. This place was unwilling to offer even the slightest discount, and really didn't even want to offer a comparable replacement product in store. They'd only allow me return my order, and wouldn't even acknowledge their poor business practices and customer service... returning it all and going somewhere else would have been ok if I hadn't already been going through this giant mess for months waiting. Seat n sleep won't offer any real fix if there's any mistakes made, just some greasy furniture salesman with a bad haircut looking for a sale, and telling you sorry for your luck from behind their desk with no actual resolution. If you can win a couch from their freebie Fri Facebook giveaway thing on Facebook, that's cool and I'm jealous, but I wouldn't spend actual $$$ here. save yourself the trouble and shop anywhere else. read more

We were in need of a bed immediately so we would have someplace to sleep that evening and didn't want to spend that much. The saleswoman was very understanding and the mattress was in-stock, reasonably priced and available for delivery. We left the store and within 1 1/2 hours the bed was in place. They saved the day. I will say that the floor model was not as firm as the new mattress so there was a bit of a difference between floor model and new. But all in all a good experience, and a local company to boot, yeah! read more
