Literally the worst nail salon ever. We made an appointment for two at 4. We waited for 30 mins. The experience is just horrible, imagining u just want a relax Saturday afternoon but you have three middle aged white moms talked so loud about their ADHD kids for a hour! I got my lashes done from here before for 100 bucks and it all fell off in a week. The nails are not what I expected and I believe Ido better with white-out. It's actually hard to believe this place is in business. I walked in with a friend at 4 pm. There were two technicians and one customer. They started working on my friend first and she got a regular manicure. The paint job was poor. I got a shellac manicure and seriously feel that I was robbed. The woman was distracted the entirety of the time and painted my nails BEFORE she filed them or cut the cuticles. What?! It didn't even make sense! She neglected to paint my entire nail, the edges were left bare and she was generally rough. When she was finished and I looked at what she had done, I was horrified! Do not ever come here for nails. The nail tech was super unfriendly, did not give a hand massage, and was so quick and sloppy. I figured I'd come here since I go to Linda for lashes, and she's amazing, but it's no wonder why they are always dead when I come in. I give good tips to my nail girls, and am a loyal client. Decided to start going here because it's walking distance from my house. Tried the gel manicure a few times both times it chipped super fast which is not supposed to happen with gel... I got a pedicure and that chipped in three days to. I decided to try acrylic because the gel wasn't working but I didn't wanna give up on this place. My acrylic broke after 3 weeks. Three nails broke. I'm over it. I tried for 6+ months. Was not refunded anything although they did give me gel again when my chipped but that also chipped and they told me it was my nails that don't work with gel? Bs. But yeah save your $. read more

NEVER GO HERE. Worst treatment and service I've ever received. Completely Careless manicure. I wish I could upload a photo to show how bad it actually is. On top of that, we were rushed out the door even though it was 15 minutes before closing time, and we were not given any time to let our nails dry so they smudged immediately after leaving. They don't even have UV lights or specialized drying fans. I am concerned that I might be experiencing a bacterial infection soon due to the fact that their instruments seem to have seldom been cleaned, and they certainly did not do any cleaning before they left. This place is a hidden gem. I came in after a horrible experience at another salon where I literally got up and left. Julie is truly an angel. She took so much time to make my nails look perfect. She was so meticulous in her work, something I rarely see in nail salons these days. This is the second time I have come here and both times have been exponentially better than any of the overcrowded popular salons that do a rush job and herd you through the line like cattle. This salon must have turned over a new leaf since these negative reviews were written, because when I went in last Saturday I received one of the best pedicures I've ever had. The nail technician was friendly, not too chatty, and 100% focused on my feet for the entire 30+ minutes. Not only did she buff and exfoliate until my feet felt brand new, she also gave me a heavenly 10+ minute foot/leg massage using a rich, fruity smelling lotion that left my legs glimmering for the rest of the day. The only downside to my visit was a 10 minute wait (there were only 3 technicians working that day), but the magazine and massage chair I was offered made the time fly by, and the quality of the pedicure erased any disgruntled thought that might have crossed my mind. This was honestly my first pedicure ever. And to be baptized into this whole new amazing world of nailcare, I cannot wait to go somewhere else! Because I've never done this before, the foot massage and massaging chair was enough for me to say, "omg I love it" But then when I left, I first of all wasn't happy with the fact that I couldn't communicate with my nail... specialist? No, nail lady cause she couldn't speak any English. If you don't speak French, you don't work in France, same everywhere else in the world. Anyway, I then went to my coworkers to talk about my experience cause I was just not sure about the whole thing since I couldn't talk to her. They then began to list off all the things wrong with what they saw: no clear coat or buff, badly done calluses, uneven nails and so on and so forth. Honestly I should have known something was up when I asked the lady 5 times, "are we done?" And in response got nothing more than a long drawn out, "oooooohhhhhhh." And on top of that, all other employees just sat there and stared and did not once try to help translate for the poor bad nail lady. I'm sure she was scared and confused why I was repeating the same gibberish (English) over and over to her. Honestly, not worth $25. Especially considering by the end it got super awkward and embarrassing cause I felt like some migrant slave was working on my feet. save your money and your time. i went in wanting acrylics, as ive been getting them regularly for years. i went in, asked for coffin shape long acrylics and even showed the nail tech how long. she cut them insanely short and did not shape them well at all. they are uneven in shape and length, and the paint job was poor. she also made my cuticle bleed. then, upon leaving, charged me $40 (as opposed to the $30 i was told walking in) because they were "long nails" when in reality, these are the shortest (and worst) acrylics ive ever gotten. the shop was also very dirty. im surprised theyre still in business. read more

Do not go here!!!!! I usually get my nails done in Bellevue, but I didn't want to make the drive, so I tried Seatop - what a mistake! I have shellac on my nails and toes, and they started to scrape off the shellac before it was ready (it sat less than a minute in the foil), and started scraping off my nails. I objected and they said they were trying to get the first layer off. Once they got the shellac off, they used their nail drill to file down the tops of my nails - a nail drill??? My nails are already thin!!! The tops of my nails after the filing were so rough, it was awful. Then she starts to paint my nails....WAIT, WHAT??!! I stopped her and said "you didn't cut my cuticles, didn't soak my nails in water" - she tells me that they do things differently here, and they do that last. I almost walked out, but I thought "maybe she knows something I don't know?" WRONG! The paint looks horrible, it's not smooth because they didn't file the tops correctly, and the cuticles look rough....there were a couple of areas where there was still skin sticking up on my cuticles, as well as an area where she cut me, and do you know what she did??? SUPER GLUED those areas!!!! This place is dirty, they don't sanitize their instruments or the tubs for your feet. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!! And then on top of it, it's way over priced for what you're getting. read more

Not very accommodating to walk-in's even when not busy. The pedicure was the shortest and one of the worst I have had in a very long time. Brief soak, clip, and maybe a 20 second callus scrub. For someone on their feet all day this did not even touch the service. From start to finish it was under 20 minutes. She must have known I was really not please so she threw in a lotion massage AFTER the nails were painted. Won't be back, too many better and less expensive places around town. I come here solely to see Linda for my eyelashes and she's SO GREAT. I'm pretty rough on my lashes. I constantly wash my face, I don't protect them from getting wet when I'm in the shower or brush them every day. I've tried many other places all over the Seattle Area and no ones stay on as well as Linda's. She's super sweet and almost always available any day you need. I usually call a day or hours in advance. I get mine filled every 2-3 weeks at $45 for an hour. She has done half hour mini touch-up when I've asked too! If there is a zero star, I would give them 0. First reason is how rude the older lady who started doing my pedicure was. Second of all, they are dirty as can be. I ended up with a toe nail infection because of the dirty clippers they used on me. Also I ended up with an athlet's foot. The lady who clipped my toes also made me bleed. They don't was the tub they use, they just cover it with a plastic bag. I am not even sure that is sanitary. They poke a whole on the plastic so they can drain the water. It is all gross. They use nail clippers without disinfecting them. Be careful !!!! read more

I should have taken the prior reviews of this place more seriously, but as they were old, and I was in the neighborhood, I gave it a chance. The salon was very messy, with rags strewn everywhere and trash overflowing in the bathroom. The massage chair I was seated in didn't work properly, and my $25 pedicure lasted under 20 minutes, with maybe 20 seconds devoted to trimming cuticles and another 20 to a massage, given after my toes were painted, which seemed odd. When I paid with a credit card, an additional $2 fee was added, despite the fact I wasn't told in advance. DON'T GO!! read more

I went to this nail salon on a recommendation. OY! Dirty is the first word that comes to mind. Filth everywhere, nothing was cleaned, a layer of grime on all the equipment and spa chairs. They also have a very sweet dog running about the shop - is that sanitary? It also seems that they don't steralize their tools as I saw no evidence of such in the shop. I did not realize this until she had started snipping away so I am praying I don't get an infection of sort. My pedicure was fast, not that relaxing and I had to pay 10% for using my debit card. I love to support small business but if I am in the University Village area again I will book ahead at InSpa - at least they make an appearance of sterilizing their tools and cleaning their store in general. read more

A great place to go if you're on the go. I don't understand the other reviews about the place being filthy because it looks like any other salon I go to which includes the Gene Juarez downtown salon (cleanliness wise, not overall appearance). Besides, when I came in the lady that ended up helping me with my god-forsaken nails was in the process of cleaning the foot spa with sanitizer. Also, maybe people should put their foot where their mouth is, literally. Trust me, the girl sitting next to next to me had the grimiest feet I have ever seen. Overall, great quick friendly service. The lady who helped me asked me about myself and sympathized when I droned on and on about how stressful school was. I even got a student discount for showing my husky card. Right, as other reviewers have mentioned, there is an extra charge because I used my credit card. This is to be expected because the credit card companies actually charge the business for credit card charges. Betcha didn't know that. I should have seriously taken the reviews into consideration when I was researching salons near me. I should not have come here. I asked for a shellac manicure. I'm usually not a particular person but I've gotten enough manicures in my life to know the difference between good and bad service. The manicurist didn't cleanse or soak my hands before putting on polish. When I asked her if she was going to, she curtly said, "we do things differently here". She didn't trim the cuticles or file the nails... just put the gel polish, put my nails under the UV light and finished the polishing process. I had to URGE her to trim my cuticles after the polish was put in place and even then she initially refused, continued to resist and finally trimmed them up a little bit after I asked for the 4th time. I was getting a manicure before my engagement photo shoot (anticipating close up photos of my hands/engagement ring). Ultimately, I wouldn't come here ever again. Mainly because of the customer service and the reluctance to deliver what is usually given during EVERY standard manicure you get at any other salon. If the customer service had been better, if she was kinder/easy going I would probably give them another shot since they are located close to where I live. Oh and the rest of the staff (only 3 people) either were on their phone texting or sleeping in the shop while I was there. Just an odd place and bad experience in general. read more

I never write reviews but I had to for Linda. In the past I had a horrible experience with lash extensions and was skeptical to try it again. I wore fakes everyday and texted Linda a photo explaining that I wanted them to look exactly like the fakes. Dirty floors, dirty benches, no clean towels NO STERILIZATION of the instruments! Their work is good, however I wouldn't recommend this place unless they change some things..
