When I came in yesterday right off the bat my red flag was that they said they don't do gel x I'm not sure why that was a lie, after I was told they did. so I just chose to do gel since they said they could do that and I sat on the chair mind you they were rushing me. When I showed them a photo of what I wanted done they said okay and yhen cut my natural nails and when I told them that's not what I wanted they got bothered as well as they did some type of dip powder no color and not at all like the picture and since I pointed out it's not heat I wanted they then got upset again. There was 3 different girls working on my hands and toes so the shape also was not at all what I wanted. Very different on both hands. They then had to add a top to my nails since the lady cut them. Then when I requested square multiple times they kept rounding them and again I'd say something and they were upset. i was the last person to leave because they had to redo my whole nails I told them before they finished but they kept saying they knew what they were doing. And again the second time around bot at all what I asked for they definitely look like gum and thicker than my natural nails I have pretty petite and slim nail beds so the fact that they made them look wider it saddens me. Aside from that the did cut me multiple times and kept ignoring me I'm still bleeding from two spots. So anyways im never coming here again thanks.

The…read moreatmosphere feels tired and neglected--an old Sandals sign made out of faux greenery still hangs on the wall, the pictures and mismatched furniture look dated, the manicure chairs are uncomfortable, and there wasn't even any music playing. The service was equally disappointing. There was no hand soak during the manicure, and the polish was not applied down to the cuticle, leaving the nails looking like they had grown out already. The pedicure felt rushed: my feet were not soaked long enough, and my toenails were barely trimmed, even after I specifically asked. The toe dividers were placed in between the big toes before the protective slippers were put on. Since the slippers had very little support between the toes, they kept slipping off and smudged the polish on my big toe. However, they didn't fix it, and I noticed after leaving. For the price, I expected much better care, attention to detail, and concern for the finished result. Overall, the experience felt subpar and was not worth the cost.

I've had a handful of facials at nearby Skin Spirit, Gwyn does a better job at a better price (and no $1000 hard sales pitch on products like you consistently get at Skin Spirit). The gel polish was applied very quickly and carelessly, with uneven edges, gaps near the cuticles, and small white spots/bubbles in some areas. At one point, the UV lamp touched my nail and messed up the polish. She tried to fix it, but the final result still didn't look right. When I pointed out the issues, the technician couldn't understand me and called a man from the front desk to help translate. Instead of addressing my concerns, he told me he couldn't see any problems, that I was being "too picky," that nobody would notice from a distance, and that nobody is perfect. I understand that nobody is perfect, but as a paying customer, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect careful work and to have my concerns treated with respect. What disappointed me most wasn't just the quality of the nails, but the way my concerns were dismissed. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed.
