This was a really great tour! Seeing sights by Segway is a fabulous way to tour, very easy to learn if you haven't ridden before (so long as you really pay attention to the training!), and this didn't disappoint...largely because of our tour guide, Brandon! He was just superb! Solid knowledge combined with a great sense of humor. And, he "read" what those of us on the tour were interested in and tailored the tour a bit to suit. Really great! Only issue at any level, and really quite minor, is they just relocated and the various websites and tour companies, like Trip Advisor, seemed to have different addresses/locations, which made it a challenge to find. I'm sure once they get all settled and updated, it will be a breeze...and once we found the correct location it couldn't have been simpler, as they are now located right across the street from a parking lot! If you are at least somewhat experienced with segway tours, you'll find that this tour is not as good as others. The tour guide did NOT teach us very much about the city, the segways did not come with little bags to put your stuff in (others do), the location of the office is REALLY creepy (located under a bridge near a homeless shelter?), and finally, the office space where they train you with the segway is so tiny. My advice - go on a segway tour in Seattle, but not this one! Unless it is your first time - then go ahead and go on this one - you won't know any better :). read more

This was probably the funnest thing I did in Seattle since I moved here over 5 years ago. No joke. I never had the chance to ride a Segway before but it becomes second nature after the first few minutes. Our tour guide, Jacob, was the greatest. He was not business-y which is great because you are dealing with the human being Jacob and not the "professional". He is pretty bad ass on the Segway. He also gave us a REALLY great tour. Jonathan, our guide, is one weird dude, but Seattle can be too. We took the 2 hour tour on a beautiful Saturday in July. Seattle is a hilly city and I can't think of a better way to see it. We saw the breadth of the city from the port, to city center, to the sculpture park and pioneer square. We had some nice long runs where you could open up the Segway. There were some breaks to hear about the area, but mostly it was a travel and see tour. If you want to hear about all of the historical nuances this might not be the tour for you, but if you want to see the main elements in standing comfort I highly recommend this tour! read more

This is a bit overdue & I never actually went on the tour but I wanted to give 5 stars for the service. The guide cancelled due to illness day of/day before when I tried to go February 2016, and the company failed to communicate that with us so we got up bright and early and drove to the supposed destination. When we saw nobody was there we called, and the lady that picked up (forgot her name!) was really apologetic about the whole ordeal and not only refunded my Groupon, but reimbursed me for parking and sent me vouchers in the mail to redeem in the future should I ever find myself in Seattle or Portland again. I was really pleasantly surprised by the effort the company put forth to make up for their mistake & hopefully I will be able to redeem those vouchers in the future! read more

We had a great time on the Seaatle by Segway tour. Ian was a great guide and it ended up being just he and the two of us. We covered everything from Queen Anne's hill ( great views!) to the stadiums and everything in between. Ian was more than happy to stop for pictures and to explain the sights. This place is one of the only Segway tour companies in downtown Seattle and they are, by far, much cheaper than their competition. My family of four did the tour with Ezra as our guide and it was awesome! He was the best and even took us to a few places that aren't normally part of the tour since our group was small and the crowd wasn't too large; we did the 4:00 tour. It was the perfect time of day because things were still bustling but not too crowded to enjoy ourselves. This tour was super easy to book but I would advise that you book your tour as early as you possibly can so you can get the time you want. We waited until the day of and almost didn't get to do the tour on our trip here. It certainly makes me want to buy one of my own, have fun! read more

This was not a tour. We started in pioneer square, then rode to Pier 70 took a picture then rode back. Our tour guide was awful. He was bossy and yelled at us. He didn't tell us a single fact on the entire tour! At one point someone rode off the curb and he didn't even ask if they were ok. He was more concerned with the Segway. I do not recommend this company. I do not remember the tour guide name but he was the worst. He was definitely zero stars. His attitude made everyone on the tour uncomfortable. read more

We were able to easily change our tour to a day earlier and Woody gave us a tour to remember! Loved going around the waterfront, he even pointed our Salmon that were running through the water. Since there were only two of us and we were experienced on Segways, we got going quickly and had more time to talk with him about different areas of the city. We toured with Jacob yesterday and everyone had a blast. Not only are the Segways the coolest and hippest ways to cover much territory, they were fast and fun. Jacob taught us how to drift in a matter of minutes. No, he didn't, but he was the second best thing we loved about the tour. He led us up, around, and through the city allowing us to stop and take really great pictures, he has an eye for angles and lighting btw, our pictures were fabulous. I'll be staying in Seattle for a few months and will definitely hire Jacob for another Segway adventure, he also said he would be able to customize a tour that's not as touristy as the one we just did. no safety video- no bags on the Segway for water or camera/keys etc. The business is in a sketchy location/no place for your backpack (items left at the office). I asked if the store was secure - the answer was not comforting. More riding then touring. I have Segwayed in Boston 1x and San Francisco 2x's this summer- this business needs a tune-up. Not being sure if the batteries are charged is not what you pay for. Seattle is great and the highlight was the Seattle City Center area. This tour was absolutely amazing! Fun!! Informative! We had Ryan as out tour guide. He was patient and took pictures for people with their cameras. I have to admit, that I was kind of doubting myself when I saw the segways. Ryan was patient with all of us, teaching us how to steer and stand on them, before we headed out of the door. By the time that we got back, we felt like pros. My husband wants to get one now! I went with my husband and my 15 year old daughter. We also had a family of 5 that was with us on our tour. It gave us a sense of what places we wanted to visit and gave us a layout of where we needed to go after out tour. If we would have had the time, we definitely would have gone back for another tour. Couldn't be located in a more dangerous place. Cars - a lot of cars - and people everywhere. So many people to dodge. Sidewalks are either demolished or non-existent. The Segways are a blast to drive but this route is just terrible and takes all the joy out of the machine. Our tour guide was kind of a joke, too. read more

I cannot recommend this Segway tour. The actual riding of the Segway is fun. However, the tour has vast room for improvement. The tour needs to find an alternative route as it is on very busy streets with lots of intersections and distractions. Most of the time the tour guide was at least 1/2 block away from the last rider. At one point we couldn't cross the street on cross walk so he had us cutting in between two cars waiting for stop light to change. As one of the riders was doing this a driver began backing up as she was cutting through the two cars. Jonathan, tour guide was clueless as he was way ahead of us. Also he used a mega phone which no one could hear him as he talked forwards not backwards to riders behind d him. The tour lacked any real valuable information regarding Seattle. Skip it is my best advice. This was a larger group of riders but tour guide boasted he could handle it. Disagree read more

Those things are CRAZY fun. the guides where very knowledgeable and extremely fun themselves but the segways easily stole the show. we went our first day in town and crossed off our entire attraction list that day. Between all the fun little facts and interesting history of the city I now have a new list and a much deeper appreciation for the city. This place is the worst. We planned ahead, bought the Groupon and made reservations ahead of time. We were called just a few hours before our scheduled afternoon tour and were told that since our tour guide called in sick that the company couldn't accommodate us. We were offered a makeup time for 9am the next morning. It was our last day in town and so we decided to move some other plans around to squeeze it in. On our way to the office in an Uber (which cost us $10 from our downtown hotel) with 15 minutes to spare for the start of the tour we were called and asked if we were coming to which we confirmed that we were 5 minutes away. Two minutes later we received a call back that they would no longer take us "due to ice". It was over 40 degrees, sprinkling, with no ice in sight. (Freezing is 32 degrees so try a better excuse next time). They ruined not one but two days of our 5 day trip. Terrible customer service. read more

This tour needs for the tour guide to have a mic and for the patrons to have head phone sets of some kind and to find an alternative route while construction is going on at the pier. I was really surprised by the "training" inside the building, for me it was okay since I have been on Segway's before but if I were a new person to this it wouldn't have been a good experience.
