The Gig Harbor location closes at the end of December ( of 2025). We were over in Gig Harbor this past weekend to see a friend and were actually surprised to to see this tasting room still open. We knew that Heritage has closed many tasting room locations already and just assumed that the Gig Harbor location closed some time ago. But nope, they are still around for a few more weeks. We got some spirits here. I got some miniature bottles of vodka and whiskey and Steve got a spirit that has an amazing Earl Grey flavor so we definitely had a nice purchasing "Hurrah" here before this location closes. Despite all tasting rooms closing Heritage Distilling will still exist as it is going to a production only operation.

I've been a customer of Heritage for years and a member of their Cask Club. They have been making…read moreexcellent cocktails at the tasting room and serving a mix of small bites. They've even added coffee to the menu. Service is always friendly (maybe because I know most of the staff). Heritage has been my go to for grabbing a cocktail and showing the Harbor to guests. Sadly, it's all ending. Heritage has announced the closure of all tasting rooms 12/31/2025. If you want to try them, time's running out! Make sure you have a chance to stop in before it's all gone.

There is a reason why most vodkas are multiple times filtered and that is to get rid of this awful taste. They will not win any competitions with this approach. I am truly sorry, because I lived on Bainbridge Island for many years and I know the effort and enthusiasm of these distillers are sincere and honest, but truth be told this vodka sticks, literally.

They were super friendly and Dylan did a great job at explaining the different spirits and what they have to offer. We decided to each do the 4 glass tasting for $15 and with 8 tastings total we got to taste most of what they had to offer. My boyfriend loved everything he tasted! I'm not really a big fan of darker liquors but I really loved the Harvest Gin and Eagle Harbor Brandy, I had to bring a bottle of each home to share. We drove to Bainbridge so it was super easy to get there and there was lots of parking available. Overall an amazing experience with great conversation and definitely will be visiting again.

Getting there, the drive was really simple and the surroundings beautiful. The distillery itself is tucked away in the back near some other garages. There is parking near there but it is limited. We chose to sit outside because it was such a beautiful day. The service there was great because the individual behind the bar was very attentive, asked us questions about what we liked, and gave recommendations based on our answers. We wanted to start off with the flight, which was a great option because it helped us really decide on the drinks we wanted to try out that were recommended to us. In the end we got two drinks each and walked away with a bottle of brandy and gin. Safe to say that we enjoyed what we tasted. Super friendly and helpful people work there. They were eager to connect with patrons and their customer service was on point. The clear liquids flight was refreshing and tasty and local.
